Chapter 1137
Summon Of The Sword
âSay another word, and Iâll rip your face off.â
Zander glanced at Simon, his tone icy.
âHaha, go on. Go on with that arrogance.
âLetâs see who has the last laugh.â
Simon snorted coldly before helping Old Madam Quinn into the hotel.
âHello, Sir. Our private rooms are fully booked.â
Simon had just reached the front when he was stopped by two hotel staff.
âWhatâs going on?â
Simon froze. Little did they know that Harry had already blacklisted the Quinn family from the hotel.
âWeâre here with Star Groupâs President Willer âPresident Willer has booked a private room, and thatâs ours Samuel said to the staff with a slight frown.
âIâm sorry, sir. But you still canât go in.â
However, the staff was unfazed as he continued blocking the door.
âYou!â
Samuel paused for a moment and was about to call Jenson.
âLet them in.â
Sean, who had already entered the hotel, said to the back.
âYes, Mr. Lennon.â
The staff obeyed and immediately moved out of the way.
âHmph! Sean, stop faking it. We can get in without you!â
Simon said with a cold snort as he got more upset as he thought about it.
Not even wanting to talk to him, Sean only turned around and got into the special elevator.
âHmph! He can really fake it.
âI know, right? Heâs just close with Reach For Will Groupâs Mr. Clarke.
âI guess he did it on purpose to humiliate us.â
Simon said, and everyone agreed.
Time went by.
Sean had already met Flint and Damian.
One was in charge of the CIA-pretty much having full control of the government.
The other was the recognized leader of River Cityâs underworld.
It could be said that they represented the two opposing worlds of law enforcers and lawbreakers.
Without Sean, they probably would have never met.
Thanks to Sean, the two of them sat together.
âIâve said what I need to say.
âWhat do you think?â
Sean looked at the two and asked after sharing his opinions.
Both of them fell into a short silence.
After all, it was a bit uncomfortable for them to sit together and talk about cooperation when they were opposites who used to be at loggerheads.
Sean was probably the only one in River City who could accomplish that.
Damian also understood Seanâs plan.
He wanted both the government and Flintâs forces to coexist.
No one had ever done anything like this before, and no one had ever succeeded.
Because black and white could never coexist in everyoneâs perception.
The two parties were inherently hostile.
Sean was trying to make the two coexist, and even work together, which was unacceptable.
Flint glanced at Sean and then Damian.
It was beneficial to them.
After all, they would receive much help with Damian on their side.
They would be fine if they did not do anything unforgivable.
Therefore, he did not resist it much.
However, Damian thought they were righteous judicial officers, and Flint and his men were members of the shady underworld.
He felt that being friends with Flint would insult his status..
He would even betray the higher-upsâ trust.
