Chapter 1052
Summon Of The Sword
Jasonâs news caught Sean off guard.
Although he figured the more people he came into contact with, the sooner he would reveal himself.
Still, he did not want the day to come so soon.
What Sean wanted was to catch Blaze off guard without him knowing.
If Blaze learned about Seanâs existence and targeted him, it would affect many of Seanâs plans.
After all, Blaze now held a high position in the army and was influential.
He would not have a hard time dealing with Sean.
Therefore, Sean had to push all his plans forward.
As soon as everything was settled, he could arrange his return to the army.
Time went by.
Two law enforcement vehicles drove to Jonâs private villa an hour later.
Jon was discussing what to do with Quill.
âDad, it looks like the people outside have already left.â
Quill pulled the curtains to take a look before returning and saying.
âNo.
âSeanâs not going to let us off the hook easily.
âThere must be someone watching us secretly.â
Jon snorted coldly. He did not believe Sean would let them go free.
âWhat should we do then?
âAre we going to let it go like this?â
Quill asked through clenched teeth as he frowned.
âJust let it go.
âThey have no reason to take us anyway.â
Jon sneered, his face smug.
He had figured things out.
The Zimmer family owed a whopping three hundred million dollars from Jonâs financing.
It was true that Jon owed money, but it was not that he did not want to pay it back.
Besides, the contract he signed did not specify a repayment date.
Jon took that money as an investment.
Since it was an investment, there would be risks.
It was normal that money could not be retrieved temporarily when something happened.
Therefore, no matter how powerful Sean was, he had no reason to lock Jon up.
No matter how long it would take, Jon would not panic.
Instead, they were protected by government officials, so those people could not even collect the debt from them.
âJust let it go.
âIâll contact some old friends.
âIâll ask them to find a way to get us out of River City first.
âWeâll figure out the rest later.â
Jon thought for a moment before taking out his phone to make a call.
âDad, I want to kidnap Willow and have my way with her right now. 1 âIâll willingly go to prison as long as I can have my way with her!â
Quill rubbed his knees, showing a perverted look in his eyes.
âI hate this woman too!
âWe wouldnât end up here if it wasnât for her.â
Jon clenched his teeth with hatred. They would not have gotten against Sean if it was not for Willow.
The Zimmer family had lost everything now.
âI wonât let her go if I have the chance.
âSean will have to live with that forever when that happens.â
Quill chuckled, his eyes full of malice.
Jon said no more as he rummaged through his contacts list to make a call.
Ding dong!
Just then, someone rang the doorbell at the villa gate.
Quill was stunned to hear it. He went to the window and looked out.
Two law enforcement vehicles were parked just outside the villa gates.
Besides that, five or six men in hats stood at the gate.
âDad, theyâre people from the government.â
Quill immediately turned and said to Jon.
âPeople from the government? What are they doing here?
âCome on. Letâs go check it out with me.â
Jon put down his phone to walk out the door.
âDad, theyâre not here to arrest us, are they?â
Quill looked at the staff at the gate, his heart racing slightly.
âWhat are you afraid of?
âI told you. Sean has to have a reason to arrest us.
âHe has no proof. How is he going to arrest us?
âHe wouldnât dare. If he can arrest me, Iâll write my name backward!â
Jon looked smug. He was still unconvinced about Sean to this day.
âOkay! Great!â
Quill did not know much, but he believed whatever Jon said.
Soon they reached the gate and opened it.
âWhat can I do for you?â
Jon glanced at the group with a hint of disdain in his tone.
He knew Sean had no reason to catch him, so he was calm.
âAre you Jon Zimmer?
âIs he Quill Zimmer?â
One of the men outside asked, looking at Jon.
âI am. What do you want?â
Jon stood leisurely, still looking smug.
âNothing much.
âCome with us.â
The staff waved their hands immediately, and the men behind him came over.
