Chapter 29

Bonus 2

Shortie & Knight

... hi? I know that you guys have been wanting another bonus, and I know that it's taken way too long for me to write this one but... at least I'm doing it. It's not like I just haven't been writing. I do have another story that I'm writing AND I write all the time. Message me if you want me to send you the link to some of the stories that I would like to publish in real life. I'll only do it if you send me a funny pun referring to this story.

ANYDOODLE (yeah, that's right), I just wanted to make sure you're all safe, healthy, and following the goddamn rules. Six feet apart, Janet, six feet a-freaking-part! But I digress. Enjoy this bonus chapter, I know I will... hopefully (I'm a tough critic).

Also, if you want to know more about me (I mean, of course you do, I'm awesome... jkjkjk) Subscribe to my YT channel: Caitlynn Washington or follow me on Instagram: caitywash06... now onto the story!

Five years later...

"Niagara Falls King! Get your tiny ass over here!" I screamed, severely pissed off.

The sound of Andreas' cries are all that could be heard, apart from Max's snoring. The poor baby was sick and couldn't do much, which sucked for me since I had to take care of our cute little devil, Niagara. I love her, I really do, but that kid was evil.

Niagara was the oldest of the three King kids. She was seven minutes older than Aadya, and about a year older than little Andreas. At five years old, the kid had gotten into more trouble than I had in my entire life.

She clearly took after her dad.

She had long, wavy black hair, soft, tan skin, grayish-green eyes, amazingly long eyelashes, a cute button nose, slightly chubby cheeks, amazing cheekbones, full lips, and a defined jawline. Her twin sister, Aadya, looked the same except for the fact that her hair was cut just above her shoulders while Niagara's was down to her waist.

And no, we didn't do that so we could tell them apart. Aadya's eyes were rounder than Niagara's, and Niagara's eyes were more green than grey. Aadya just hates her hair being in her face while Niagara loves to put her hair in different styles.

The other way we can tell the two identical twins apart is by their personality. They may only be five but they are complete and total opposites from each other. Niagara, the little devil, is feisty, rambunctious, and loud while Aadya is shy, calm, and quiet. It makes sense, though, since the name Niagara literally means "thunder of water". Niagara surely was as loud and thunderous as the famous waterfall. She was a boxer just like her dad, though she mostly spoke Spanish like I did. Aadya, bless her soul, was the nurturing type. She sang and played piano as well and loved to cuddle with her daddy. She was a total daddy's girl, but so was Niagara. She spoke Spanish like her sister.

And my youngest, the one who was crying, Andreas, was a definite momma's boy. I'd been told that he looked a lot like me, but Max had also been told that he looked a lot like him. I guess he looked like the both of us, but with his cute little freckles you can't tell. Andreas had grey eyes, brown wavy hair, freckles on his cheeks, thick lips, fair skin with a slight blush and long eyelashes. He'd grown a love for singing and tap dancing and was just as fluent in Spanish and Italian as he was English. He'd always get picked on by Niagara, so he never liked being around his older sister very much. But he did love to pretend he was Aadya's knight in shining armor, mine as well.

He was just like Max that way.

The best part about having children for me was seeing how much they were like the love of my life. Niagara loved boxing, Andreas and Aadya loved singing, and all of them have taken an interest in the two other languages that Max and I spoke. My family was my whole heart and soul and I would never trade them in for anything... even Niagara's tendency to get on my last nerve.

"Suck an egg, momma!" Niagara screamed, sprinting around the house. Her hair was an absolute mess and she was covered in dirt.

Typical. "What the hell does that mean?" I mumbled to myself. "You better get in here before I get to five or else you're not going to be able to box with daddy for the next week," I threatened.

I heard her scoff. "You're bluffing! You wouldn't dare take away my boxing time!"

I crossed my arms over my chest. "One," I started menacingly.

Niagara slowed her running to a brisk jog, turning around so she was running towards me.

"Two."

She slowed down even more, now speed walking.

"Three."

She was walking slowly now.

I raised an eyebrow. This girl got guts. "Four."

She stopped moving. Aadya, who was always following her older twin around, moved from behind my legs.

"You better come over here before she gets to five," Aadya warned.

"Fi—," I started but Niagara instantly broke down into tears, running towards me with her arms open. She ran into my legs and wrapped her, surprisingly, muscled arms around my calves.

"I'm s-s-sorry momma. Please don't t-take away boxing time with d-daddy!"

At the sound of his name, Maximus shifted in his sleep, mumbling "just like that, babe," quietly. I blushed. What? My kids aren't the only ones who call him daddy.

Anyway...

I looked down at Niagara's adorable, dirty, tear-streaked face and raised an eyebrow. "I'm not the one you should be saying sorry to." I pointed to Andreas, who was sitting on his dad's chest, and patted Niagara's head. "Necesitas disculparte con tu hermanito," I said. (You need to apologize to your baby brother.) (Spanish).

Niagara sniffled and looked up at with her teary eyes. I gave her an encouraging look. She nodded her head and trudged over to her brother, who had an adorable little pout on his face.

"I'm sorry for kicking over your LEGOs, Andy," she mumbled.

"See, now that wasn't so har—" Niagara held up a hand to stop me.

"I'm not done, mama. I'm also sorry for stealing money out of your piggy bank, telling you that Santa isn't real, stealing your Nerf Gun, and kicking you in the balls," she listed.

I felt my eyes widen. "You kicked him in the balls?!"

Niagara turned to me with a look of innocence. "I didn't kick too hard," she said in a 'duh' tone.

I facepalmed. I made that... I made a ball-kicking, toy-snatching, dream-smashing, adorable, lovable monster.

She's lucky I love her.

I sighed tiredly before moving to the recliner that Max was sleeping on. I sat down on his lap while Aadya and Niagara sat down on the armrests. I grabbed the remote from the cup holder and turned on the TV. Immediately I saw a photo of the five of us walking down the street. I was holding Andreas while Niagara and Aadya were sitting on their daddy's shoulders. The three kids were laughing while Max and I were staring lovingly into each other's eyes. That was the day that Niagara punched one of Aadya's bullies and cursed them out in Spanish. We had gone out for ice cream to celebrate Niagara being a good sister.

The narrator was talking about how we're one of the cutest families in America, and how she can't wait to have an interview with Max and us next week. That would be the week that I was announcing my pregnancy to everyone as well. The screen then switched and showed a video of Niagara and Max training together. She looked so cute in her matching exercise wear with her dad; grey basketball shorts and a sports bra (Max was shirtless). Then they switched to a video of Aadya and me singing together with her playing the piano and Max cheering us on. Then there was a video of Andreas and I tap dancing together, the two of us wearing the same outfit; yellow sweatshirt (mine was cropped) and black sweatpants. Then they showed a picture of all of us congratulating Max on one of his wins.

"Look daddy! It's you after you won that really hard match with that big, mean, scary guy!" Niagara cheered.

Max scrunched up his nose but continued to sleep.

"Daddy?" Niagara looked back to see her dad fast asleep. "Daddy!" She yelled.

Andreas smacked Max on the cheek, causing him shoot up into a seated position. I caught Andreas as he slid off his spot on his dad's chest and placed him on my lap.

"Ci sto! Ci sto!" He said, his eyes wide and his voice really raspy from both sleep and his fever. (I'm up! I'm up!) (Italian).

We all laughed at Max's alert expression, causing him to smile sleepily and hug us closer to him.

"You funny papa," Andreas said with a giggle.

Max looked at all of us with admiration before he frowned in confusion. "Why are you all on me?"
