What is your goal?”

“I owe him a favor, so I need to pay him back,” Venerable Chang Sheng said flatly.

A favor? Alright then!” The Heavenly Emperor glanced across the remaining venerates coldly and continued, “Since you’ve decided to stand against me, then you’ll need to accept the consequences. The Great Demon Venerate, although you have the help of the 12 ancient venerates, you should never take me lightly as well!

The Heavenly Emperor cast his special abilities and the formation suddenly gave off a bright light. Countless chains that penetrated the endless void suddenly tightened, turning into layer after layer of immense destructive power.

In the next second, the scroll rolled itself up and transformed into an arrow made of nothing but darkness. The arrow then leaped into the air and destroyed a falling star. The arrow continued to destroy another 99 stars before disappearing.

“Let’s go!” The Great Demon Venerate shouted as he waved the Blood Banner.

Everyone that was observing the war was stunned. However, they knew they couldn’t keep watching and do nothing anymore as even the Heavenly Realm might be destroyed by the war.

They began to activate their special abilities or weapons to protect themselves.

The Heavenly Emperor fought with all his might and gained the upper hand of the fight despite the Great Demon Venerate having a Holy Weapon.

Venerable Shan and Venerable Hai were dead.

Most of his troops were wiped out.

However, Tian Mo’s side was not in a good shape either. A Demon Venerate was dead. Black-Hearted Old Demon was seriously injured, and was taking cover at the edge of the battlefield. Amongst the 12 ancient venerates, seven were dead.

The people around wanted to help him, but they did not know how to. Some forces just looked at him with cold eyes.

At this moment, his aura surged. He activated the Hand of Heaven and pushed the Blood Banner back.

He turned around and sliced down two venerates.

“How can he still be so strong?” The Great Demon Venerate was stunned. He decided to give it all out as he shouted, “Blood Banner!”

Upon his calling, the Blood Banner rolled around and wrapped the Heavenly Emperor in it. However, it did not hold the Heavenly Emperor for long as he soon broke out of it.

All of the people who were watching this war felt a chill down their spines. The might of the Heavenly Emperor had far exceeded their expectation. Even if he was not a Saint Lord, he had the power of a Saint Lord.

That was the thought of most of the people.
