Epilogue: My Love

Parker's POV

"Are you ready?" Kaino asks while walking into the room with Moon in his hold.

"Yes." I reply after letting out a sigh.

This is not easy to do but I want to.

"Let's go, then?" Kaino says more in question form than in statement.

Nodding at him, we leave the room and walk into living room where our parents are waiting for us. Even Kaino's parents are here, they just arrived here this morning from US.

Without a word, silently all of us make our way out and drive to our destination. When we reach the place, our quite drive comes to an end and we get down the car before walking and standing in front of Zayn's cemetery. Today not only marks Kaino and my marriage anniversary but Zayn's one year anniversary as well. When Zayn let out his last breath, it was past 12 which marks today as his death date.

As I told Kaino that I want to leave everything behind and start our new chapter, I wanted to visit Zayn's cemetery and see him once. Zayn has been my past, my first love and will always be a memory which I won't forget until my death. But now, there's someone else in my life. Though Kaino is not my first love or there was any love between us to begin with, it's all different now. Kaino is my present and my future, the love of my life. I want to fully and completely let go of what happened in the past and begin new future with Kaino.

Placing the bouquet on his cemetery, I close my eyes and remind our past as it's going to be the last time I'll be holding on it to them. Praying for Zayn to be happy wherever that he's, I open my eyes and smile. My heart feeling light and easy after visiting him and telling him my decision.

"Should we go?" Kaino queries as everyone already finished praying, it was only me who took more time than all of them.

I nod at him with a smile and we all head back to home. Now that everything I wanted to do is done, now we'll should get ready as the wedding would take place in few more hours. Going home, we eat some food and I dress up Moon in the suit that Kaino brought yesterday. Once Moon is ready, I put him on the bed as I go and get ready. Dressing up in the white suit, our father styles my hair a little and looks at me with a smile.

"You look beautiful." He compliments while looking at me emotionally, our mother standing next to him.

"I didn't ask you this before and took my own decision. I don't know what difference it would make asking you now, but I still want to do. Are you guys happy that I wanted to marry Kaino again or it made you think if this decision of my meant disrespecting Zayn's promise?" I ask them.

I did tell them even before I proposed Kaino. But it was more like an information, I just let them know my thoughts and shared what I want to do. That time I didn't ask them if they're okay with this marriage.

"You shouldn't even ask us something like this, Parker. Your happiness is what matters to us. Marrying Kaino again doesn't mean you're disrespecting Zayn's promise, it just shows how much you love Kaino that you want the relationship between both of you to be out of love and not because of someone else involvement." He responds smiling at me and I look at mother who has same expression as father and she nods at me, "after all, Kaino is our son as well."

Acknowledging the fact, I nod at them thankfully and we leave the room after helping Moon to get down the bed. We leave the house and head to the venue. Kaino and his parents already left, so it's just us now. The venue is not far from our house, we reach the place on time and make our way inside the venue. Heading to the room, I sit as mother tells me to wait until the priest calls me. Though we're already married, it still is giving me butterflies in my stomach as I sit and wait. My heart beats rapidly and my palms sweat as I keep tapping my foot on the floor.

"Calm down, Parker." Father chuckles while saying, he's left in this room with me as he's going to walk me to Kaino.

Just as he says this, Ria, Kaino's friend walks into the room saying the priest is calling us. Watching our father for a moment, I get up and step closer to him. He takes my hand and links it in his as he asks me if we should go.

"Yes." I utter and after taking a deep breath, we leave the room.

Walking down the aisle, I see a very small crowed of people sitting in the hall. Only our parents, Kaino's hospital friends and some of our close business partners are invited to the wedding. When my eyes find Kaino's, everything around me becomes blur as my whole attention is solely on him. He too wore white suit matching with that of mine and Moon's. As he watch me walking to him, a smile pulls up his lips making me smile at him in return. When we reach the podium where Kaino is standing, father hands my hand to Kaino who already put his hand forward to take mine.

"I don't have anything to tell you apart from being greatful to you. Thank you for everything, Kaino." Father says giving my hand to Kaino who accepts it gladly with a smile.

Father then steps back before going and sitting next to mother. I move to Kaino and we both exchange looks before turning to the priest. He performs the ritual and we say our vows before exchanging the rings. We do have our old rings, we didn't remove them. Thus these new rings are sitting next to the old ones. After that the priest says to kiss each other which makes me feel shy and Kaino chuckles before pulling me forward and capturing my lips in his in a soft kiss. Not wanting to put a show for the crowd who are already whistling and clapping, we part away immediately.

When the ritual gets over, we cut the cake and eat our dinner before bidding goodbyes to the guests. When the last guest leaves, we too leave the venue and make our way back home. Our parents said they didn't want to disturb us so they went to their house while Kaino and I left to our home with Moon. Reaching home, Kaino parks the car and carry the sleeping Moon to his room while I bring pup. I leave pup on his bed who immediately flops down and rests.

I then walk to Moon's room and find Kaino removing Moon's clothes before dressing him in pajama'. Kaino makes him sleep comfortably and covers him with blanket before turning the bed lamp. He gets up and when he turns around he sees me standing at the door and watching him with a smile. Walking to me, he holds my hands and leads me out before closing the door to Moon's room. We walk hand in hand to our room and head directly to the bathroom to take bathe.

Kaino fills the bathe tub with warm water and pours scented oil in it. Taking off our suits, we get into the tub and soak ourselves in the warm water. Cleaning up leisurely, we get off the tub and put on bathe robes after drying off the water. Going back to the room, we get on the bed and lay next to each other like any other day. This isn't anything unusual for us, we have been doing this for an year now and today doesn't make it any difference. It's an everyday thing for us.

As we lie next to each other, I snug closer to him and make myself lie on him to which he just smiles at me before cuddling me to him. My hand which I put on his chest, he holds it in his and brings it up to his lips before kissing it, where my two wedding rings are sitting.

"You're happy that we're married again, right?" I ask him though I know the answer.

"Of course, I am." He whispers against my hand and holds it tightly in his.

"I'm so happy with your decision to marry again because this ring," he points to the ring which he put today, "is the symbol of our love. It shows that you're mine, my love."

"What does that mean? I have been yours from the moment we married an year ago." I say because that's the truth, though that time there were no feelings between both of us, we were still each other's.

"No, Parker." He replies and converts his eyes from my hand to me, "as you said before our marriage happened under certain circumstances and it was out of a promise. I always thought of you as my responsibility until that day when I just didn't see you as my brother's lover but as my own husband. At first, I was thinking to let you go if you ever want to leave me because I know how much you loved my brother. But from the time I started seeing you as mine, I wanted to do anything to keep you with me forever. And now you made it happen."

"When was that moment you started seeing me as your husband?" I query wanting to know the moment that made him feel like I'm his.

"That day when I was going to Japan trip for business, you came along with me to the airport. While I was waiting for the flight, we both sat together. I was watching you as you were sitting there nervously. Though you were nervous and tensed, you looked really beautiful and I couldn't stop looking at you. You looked so beautiful and pretty. That day when I was seeing you I didn't see you as my brother's lover and my heart felt something for you. That was the moment I started falling for you." He reminds me of the day and my cheeks heat up as he complements me by saying pretty and beautiful.

"Are you feeling shy?" He teases me with a knowing look when I stay silent.

"I-I'm not." I deny and he laughs at me before laying me on my back and hovering on top of me.

He looks at me with so much love in his eyes that I couldn't help but wrap my hands around his neck and pull him down to me before kissing him. He kisses me back as with same amount of love.

"So that was then you fell for me?" I ask and he nods, "and now I'm your love, right?"

"Yes." He answers looking into my eyes.

"Wasn't I your love before that moment?" I question to tease him.

"From the time I started loving you, you have been my love but there was time when I thought you weren't." He replies while settling on me as he lays his head on my chest and I drape my hands around his shoulder.

"What did you think of me that time then?" I question and I hear him chuckle against my chest before placing a kiss on my exposed chest, sending shivers down my spine.

"Always remember this, Parker. You're mine, my love and will be forever until I live." He whispers which brings a wide smile on my face before continuing, "but the time when I didn't see you as my love, I have seen you as my," he looks up at me with his big eyes and happy smile and I wait for him to continue with the same smile,

"Twin brother' love."
