A few days passed by. Anshika woke up with the ringing of her phone. It was Siya."Hey, what's up? So early in the morning?""Yes, I just found out that our board results will be published soon. I couldn't keep calm.""What!""Yeah."She got up and got fresh. Immediately after she called up Ruhan."Yeah Babe, I know.""I'm so worried!""Don't worry."The results were to be announced the day after. The whole day they spent worrying about it and when the results finally came they all passed with flying colours. It was time for them to choose their preferred colleges. While Anshika and Siya got into the same college, Ruhan and Aditya went to separate colleges."How I wish we would have been together even in college!"However, the very thought of getting to college and the tastes of freedom made them much more excited.On the first day of college Anshika and Siya went together while Ruhan and Aditya went separately to their colleges. "It would have been so much fun if Aditya and Ruhan were with us in the same college. Even better if we had taken the same stream.""I agree."However, they were excited to meet new people and make new friends. Aditya called up in the middle of the day as the girls were in class. Siya couldn't answer his call and called him immediately after getting out. "Hey what's up Adi?""I just came to meet you. I'm standing near the entrance. Can we meet?""Yes ofcourse! I'll be there in a minute. Has Ruhan also come?""Oh no, it's just me. I thought I'll bring him along but he didn't pick up my call. So I thought I'll meet you.""That's so sweet. I'm coming and Anshika as well."Siya and Anshika walked along down the stairs. Anshika was excited since Aditya came to meet Siya and she wished Ruhan had done the same. But she was happy anyway. They went to a nearby Cafe for their lunch. "I wonder you travelled all the way till here just for lunch?""Just anything for my love."Siya giggled."Oh really?""Not really. We just got the day packed up early and thought to meet you." Aditya said scratching his head. The friends laughed and the girls returned to class."It would have been so much better if Ruhan also came?"Anshika said looking at Siya. "Yes, we can always meet like these when we have early disperse? We might also get to their colleges?""Yes that sounds fun as well!"They talked for a while after which Anshika called up Ruhan. He picked up the phone after a few rings."Hey Anshu, what's up?""Already missing you Ruhan."" I miss you too.""You know what Aditya came to meet us. He said you didn't pick up the call so he came alone.""Oh yes, I saw his missed calls. I'm so busy at college today. You know what I've been running in the campus ever since the morning."Anshika laughed."Sounds great for Mr.Sports Captain."They laughed in unison after which they spoke about their day and disconnected the call.Aditya again had come to meet Siya but Ruhan didn't. This went on a few times. Initially Anshika would accompany them but later she stopped to. Though Anshika had no grudges against her friends or even Ruhan she had started to feel left alone. Siya would always be with her trying to make her happy but Anshika missed Ruhan a lot. Ruhan used to be extremely busy in the initial days of college and would hardly pick up his phone. However whenever they would talk they would converse for long hours over the phone. Anshika came out of the college gates with Siya after some days to find Ruhan standing outside. She couldn't control herself and rolled her arms into a tight hug with him. Ruhan reciprocated the hug and Siya stood admiring them.Breaking from the hug they looked at Siya who stood smiling. "You enjoy for now, I'll be going home."Anshika and Ruhan stood facing each other for a while after which he held her hand and they walked in the alleys talking about the day and how Anshika wished Ruhan came to meet her when Aditya came to Siya and took her on dates. It had been quite long since Anshika and Ruhan had met.
