Chapter 15

don't leave

dirty gold

let us dine on lemon tea from cups of the finest gold with pure Cashmere on my shoulders and winking pearls on my neck, borne of a mermaid's dreams. let us flutter on the rose carpet like butterflies on crushed petals. let us dance till our legs give up and so we fall on our backs and watch the aurora borealis of our dreams hover in the sky, a beautiful and tragic blend of what could be and what could have been. and as the sun rears its blazing head, don't leave me like a dandelion seed running off to play with the wind. I don't want faint memories of my skin shivering from your touch. i don't want my mind singing memories of you like a wolf howling to the moon. don't leave this dream.

-don't leave.
