Basically, it was all Lucas's plan, every night he would come to the hospital and spend two-three hours with sleeping Carol.And as for her mother, he would always ask the doctor to call her with some or other excuse.On the other hand, Alexa recovered but it was like she lost her beautiful smile, it was visible to her family that she always tries to force the smile.Alexa wanted to go away from all these for some time because James's memories were continuously haunting her, so she made a decision.Alex, Alice, and Alexa were having dinner, when Alexa said, "Dad, I want to talk to you about something"Alex immediately nodded her to proceed, and she did, "Dad I want to go back to London"Alex was shocked and he got angry with the thought of Alexa again going away from him, he immediately said, "No way, you are not going anywhere"Alice kept her hand on his shoulder and calmed him and turned to Alexa and said, "Sweetheart, you start your packing andtell us when you are going?"Alexa forced a smile and said, "Mom, I am planning to go tomorrow morning"Alex was about to shout again in denial but Alice held his hand and said to Alexa, "Okay, Sweety go and do your packing, I will come and join you in some time"Alexa nodded and left the dining table, Alex was fuming in anger and he said angrily to Alice, "why did you allow her to go away from us"Alice replied calmly, "Alex, she needs time whatever happened in last few days, it's better if she can get out of this place for few days""Alex she had through a lot recently, we should try to understand her and give her some space, she is not kid anymore"Alex calmed down a little and felt like what Alice is saying is correct, so he held Alice and walked to Alexa's room.They entered the room after knocking; they saw a maid packing her stuff. He sat on the sofa and waved Alexa to sit next to him and Alexa did as her Dad said.Alex said, "I am sorry sweetheart for just now, but now I think I am fine with your decision"Alexa smiled and said, "Thank you Dad" and she hesitated to continue, Alice said, "come on Alexa, how long will you hide it from your Dad"Alex frowned and said patting Alexa's head, "Tell me Sweety what's the matter?"Alexa said in hesitation, "Dad I want to tell you something"Alex nodded and Alexa told him what she was hiding from him.At first, he was angry but later he was proud of his daughter.On the other hand, James's condition was not good at all, he was missing Alexa like hell, her cooking, her smile, everything.He was imagining Alexa everywhere, he tried to control his feelings but nothing helped, he started boozing a lot just to forget Alexa.It's been a few days and he feels like the whole world has become empty.Today his assistant called him and informed him that he had to attend a very important meeting in a café.He didn't want to go but he somehow agreed to go for that meeting, he reached the cafe and had his meeting, after the meeting was complete and his clients left.He was about to stand and leave the café but all of sudden he heard a girl mentioning Alexa's name and his legs froze.Unintentionally he again sat on his chair and started listening to the girl's one of the girl said, "You know Alexa is flying to London tomorrow"Listening to this James felt pain in his heart but he scoffed thinking that she is just trying to get a free life by staying away from family.
