The day passed and it was time to leave the office, Carol packed her bag and left the office, she walking to the nearest bus station when a Rolls Royce Sweptail car stopped next to her and Lucas slide down the window and said in a stern voice, "get in"At first, Carol hesitated, but before she could deny it, he again said, "We are getting married tomorrow, what are you worried for?"Carol knew she can't run away from him, so she entered the car and sat next to Lucas but kept a safe distance.The moment the car moved, Lucas pressed a button and a black slide slid down and now two were kinda alone in the car as the driver can't see them either hear them.Carol felt chill in her spin because of the way Lucas was looking at her, he broke the silence, "Why do you keep so much distance with me, I am not going to eat you"Carol tried to behave normal and said forcing a smile, "No, no Sir, it's nothing like that"Lucas again said, "Are you going to call Sir to your husband after our marriage also?"Carol said hesitating, "No..no Sir"Lucas continued, "I want you to leave your job after marriage"Carol looked at him puzzled; she thought that he also might be thinking like her that after marriage they should not work together, so she said immediately"Yes sir, I will resign just after marriage"Hearing this Lucas felt happy that she agreed to him without any argument, but her next statement boiled his blood."Sir, I am looking jobs outside, soon I will get something"Lucas said in a pissed tone, "Why you need to work, I can earn enough for our lives"Carol tried to retort, "But I don't want to be a housewife, I want to be self-dependent woman, I don't want to rely on someone"Lucas grabbed her waist, pulled her and made her sit on his lap, and said grinding his teeth, "I am not someone I am your husband"All this happened so suddenly that before Carol could understand anything, she was sitting in Lucas's lap and his lips were just a few inches away from her lips.She panicked thinking about the night he had kissed her in his car, she struggled to get free from his grip but his hold tightened with her every move.Lucas said, "I don't want you to work for anyone, you are mine and I don't want anyone to even see you"Carol was shocked hearing him, she never thought that a heartless creature like him can have any feelings towards anyone, but at the same time her heartfelt good also and she blushed hard.Little did poor Carol know what affects her blush had on Lucas, it can make him go crazy, she looks like a fresh apple to him and he wants to eat that apple at that moment anyhow.And as expected Lucas lost control of himself and held the back of her neck and slowly started getting closer to her lips, her lips which are his weakness.He can't think of anything straight whenever his eyes fall on her pink rose` petal-like lips, he wants that lips in between his lips.Carol was trying to push him but he seemed to be spell bound by her lips, he was getting closer to her lips and the moment he was about to get the taste of the rose petal-like lips, the car stopped with a jerk and brought him back to reality.Before Lucas could say anything, the driver said, "Sir, we reached Miss Mittal's house"Lucas was internally felt so frustrated that he could kill his driver, he was behaving like a kid who was close to getting his favorite toy but at the last moment, he didn't get it.Carol on the other hand jumped out of Lucas's lap when he was in thought and opened the car door and said, "Thank you for the drive Sir" saying that she ran away like a frightened cat.Lucas smiled evilly and murmured to himself, "How long you will run away, my little cat, just one day more."After that he headed to his home, after dinner he went to his bedroom, and thoughts of Catherine came to his mind, he had decided that he will stay in his other house with Carol.He doesn't want his past to haunt his future, he had brought a new home for Carol, it was on the outskirts of the city, away from city noise, he hasn't told about this house to anyone.He wanted to give a surprise to Carol and his family, he wanted to assure his parents that he is fine to start a new life with Carol, although he doesn't love her, but still, he feels they both can have a happy life together.He had many memories in this house with Catherine, how they had planned to have babies, how they used to cuddle in this house, he cannot deny that he had completely moved on from Catherine.But suddenly Carol's face came to his mind, and he had many questions about his feelings towards her, he never wanted to possess Catherine, he believed that everyone has their own rights to live their life.But for Carol, he doesn't think in the same way, he wants to possess her, capture her, hide her from the world only for him, if he could he would want to capture her breath and also leave about her heart or body.Her eyes should only see him; her heart should beat only for him, her brain should only think about him, her body should only crave for him, she should live only for him, he should be her world.Lucas was stupefied by his own thoughts; he understood one thing that Carol has the power to turn him into evil easily; he can easily forget his morals and values when it will be something about Carol.He wanted to stop these feelings but he felt like his heart and brain were already slaves of Carol.While thinking his eyes fell on the wall watch, it was 12.30 am, he smiled and murmured, "Just few hours my little cat and you will be mine, mine forever"Saying this he tried to sleep a little, tomorrow he will finally get her and she will be his, "Carol Lucas William"On the other hand, Carol came to her bedroom after dinner and all the things which happened in the car came to her mind. She thought that today she somehow escaped from him, but tomorrow she will marry him and he will have all rights over her.Then how is she going to escape, it's not like she doesn't want to give this relationship a chance but it's just that she wants some time.
