Chapter 59
Rebirth of the Wife in Despair by Tess Munoz
Chapter 59 Are You Teaching Me How to Do Things?
Gavin left the car with an umbrella and walked to the rear co-pilot. The door opened, and a man dressed in black walked out of the car.
The man was handsome, and his falcon eyes were full of danger.
Seemingly intimidated by his powerful aura, everyone automatically made way for him when they saw him approaching.
Elm held Eileen in his arms while meeting the manâs eyes. An unknown air pressure spread between them when they looked at each other.
Eric walked over while Gavin held an umbrella by his side.
âMr. Elm, I owe you a favor. Thanks for saving Eileen. Eric reached out, but Elm did not seem to hand Eileen over.
After a moment, Elm responded, âIâll accept this favor.â
Then, Eric took the unconscious Eileen from Elm.
Clinic at Peach Fishing Village.
On the way back to Hulbury, there was a road collapse. The only road was still getting repaired, and it would take a few days to pass.
âEric, Iâm sorry. I didnât mean to hide it from you. I felt stressed about the exam, so I went to have fun with my friends. I worried you would be unhappy, so I didnât tell you.â
Vera was like a child who had done something wrong, lowered her head, and dared not to speak.
Jasmine worried Vera would get scolded by Eric, so she explained to Eric, âI insisted on inviting Vera out. It has nothing to do with her. If you want to blame, just blame me.â
Eric asked Vera without blame, âWhere did you live these days?â
Jasmine rushed to say, âWe live at a friendâs house.â
Eric told Vera, âMove out of your friendâs house today. Live in a homestay first. Iâll send back to school in a few days.â
Vera nodded. âOkay, Eric.â
you âYou go back first. Itâs almost dawn. Go back for a rest.â

1/4 How about you?â
Ill wait for Eileen to wake upâ
Vera said nothing more. Then Iâll come to see you tomorrow You should rest early. Donât get tiredâ
After Vera left, the examination room opened, and an elderly doctor came out. âAre you the patientâs family Eric asked, âYes. How is she?â
The doctor answered, âThe situation isnât optimistic. Her abdomen was injured. Luckily, the bleeding has stopped. I can only give her a simple examination here. When the road repair is over, youâd better take her to a hospital for treatment to see if there are any other internal injuriesâ
Thank you.â
Gavin followed the doctor to take the medicine.
Eric walked into the humble ward. Eileen was bloodless on the bed. Her eyes were closed, and she was as quiet as if she had died.
The light in the ward was dim while shining on her pale face. He stared at her.
Eileen. you have hundreds of ways to survive, but you find the stupidest way. When are you not even afraid of death?
Eric suddenly found Eileen like a stranger.
Eileen usually had a perverse personality but was timid. This time, it was indeed beyond his expectations.
The moment Eric watched Eileen jump, he did feel a little mercy toward her, even though he did not know where the mercy came from.
Eric tucked her exposed hands under the quilt. The rain outside stopped for a while and then started again.
âDonât come here...â Suddenly, Eileen sobbed.
Eric sat beside the bed and touched her face. He only had not seen Eileen for three months, but she had lost weight.
The next day, a ray of dawn rose from the sea.
24 Eileenâs throat felt like it was on fire, and she felt very painful. She slowly became sober and smelled an unpleasant smell of disinfectant. She stared at the ceiling above her head in a daze.
Was she dead? Her memory was blank, and soon she remembered what happened last night. She moved her fingers lightly and felt a little cold. Looking at the infusion bottle beside the bed, she realized she was still alive.
âMr. Snow, the company meeting has been postponed. Mr. Swan asked when will you go back. The road repair is over.â
âWeâll go back when Eileen wakes up. Do you all catch those people?â
âYes, we caught the person who escaped last night. Those people are local hooligans. Because thereâs no one in the jurisdiction, theyâre lawless. Iâve contacted several government officials to strengthen management here. How should we deal with those hooligans?â
âWhere are they now?â
âItâs outside.â
The conversation outside stopped abruptly, and Eileen heard the sound of opening the door. She quickly closed her eyes again.
Eric glanced at Eileen inside, then turned and left.
At the entrance, more than a dozen luxury cars worth hundreds of thousands were in front. of the clinic. All of which had never appeared in the local area. The people here had never seen such a scene and did not know what happened. Many people gathered around to discuss.
People outside were unallowed to see the doctor, but the entire Peach Village had only at clinic.
âThis car must cost tens of thousands!â
âItâs more than tens of thousands. Iâve only seen this car on TV.â
âWhat happened? Iâm still waiting to get the medicine!â
Five men wearing black hoods were tied up and came out of a van. Their mouths with tape.
got covered Someone recognized one of the men immediately. âHey, isnât that Morganâs son? How did he get caught?â
âHe must have messed with the underworld! Theyâll be miserable.â
O 3/4 Gavin came out after Eric. The bodyguards kicked Thomas and others to make them kneel on the ground.
Eric stood on the steps. He was as intimidating as a king. Then, he signaled the bodyguards to tear off the tape on Thomas and the otherâs mouths.
With fearful eyes, those hooligans begged Eric for mercy.
âSir, this matter has nothing to do with us! Itâs Thomasâ idea! He has been thinking about that. girl for a long time. We havenât touched her!â
Several other people also started to put all the blame on Thomas in fear.
âF*ck! You all agreed with my idea at that time! Donât try to deny it!â
Eric looked at the people below. He seemed to be looking at a group of dead people without emotion, only cold-blooded.
Eric reached out, and the person on the side handed him a stick.
Gavin stepped forward. âMr. Snow, you donât need to deal with them. We can wait for the police.â
If things got serious and affected the company, Will would blame Eric.
âAre you teaching me how to do things?â Eric looked at Gavin coldly.
O r
