Chapter 7

6. Food Fight

The Emergence Of The Alpha Twins ( UNDER REVISING )

"No." I say straightforwardly as Ernest and Dexter show me our room. If Kelly was here right now she'd gladly take my spot to share a room with these twins. But I don't want to, I want to sleep by myself with no other bodies - two in this case - enclosing me in that bed. And why would they want to sleep in the same bed anyway!?

"Why not! It'll l be fun!" Ernest pouted and I shook my head, I'll admit, the room was amazing. It would be even more amazing if I didn't have to share it. I don't feel like waking up to seeing these godly men everyday, I'll start to envy them. And I don't like spooning either, it's weird and I've never done it before nor do I want to.

"It'll be fun for you two. Not for me and my safety and virginity! I'm pure and intend to stay that way."

"Would've never guessed with your mouth." I somehow heard Dexter mumble and I glare at him, rolling my eyes as he heads to the bed.

"It's not like we will take advantage of you. This is only the beginning. We have to see tomorrow how your body is handling our bite, and then we will train with the others. After that we will have to fix the way you dress, you've the same thing for almost two days, that's gross."

"Naw dip Sherlock! It's because you both adult-napped me and I don't t have any spare clothes with me. My closet is all the way in LA, not in wherever we are!"

"Thank you for stating the obvious, Miss. Obvious, I know that and I already had some clothes picked out for you."

"Yes! We are having a special dinner to celebrate us getting our first mate! Isn't that exciting!?" Ernest gushed like a child, and I saw how it got to Dexter who was smiling at his brothers face.

"Sure. Who'll be there?"

"I believe about forty people including us and lots of adults. Some kids, but not the little ones, just the preteens and teens. I'd watch out for most of the females, they will most likely try to find your weak spot to try to degrade your spirit," Dexter rubbed my back kindly as he grinned," don't listen to anything." He advised sweetly, and I actually could tell that he was sincere.

"Okay...thank you for the heads up. It takes a lot to bring me down, but I appreciate the tip." I nod as I find myself walking to the couch in the room in front of the fireplace. I sit there, watching as the fire crackled peacefully, blue rays at the tips of the flame and almost like a show.

"You know Renee, we want you to be happy. We get how we abruptly came into your life and are all of a sudden making you start a new one. But I just want you to know, we-." Before Ernest could finish his sentence a few knocks were made on the closed door.

Dexter cussed under his breath as he headed over, flinging open the door to find four very pretty girls in skimpy clothing. He shook his head as I could tell this was common for him and Ernest.

"What do you want Isabelle?" His voice was hard and almost threatening as the girls stood there with fake smiles on their face.

"We wanted to make friends with your new mate. We even brought some clothes for the special dinner planned." She seemed sincere enough, I smiled as I stood from the couch, walking over to her as I went passed Dexter and Ernest. But I felt this feeling that told me they knew their true intentions...

I glanced over a them before I walked off with the girls, seeing them glaring at the girls, but Ernest gave me a halfhearted thumbs up, while Dexter went in the room. At least one person showed some empathy.

"Come on! We can't wait for you to see the clothes we picked out. It is a dinner where we all show our teenage days through our clothing. We all want you to look a part of the group." Isabelle and the other girls smiled, nodding as they seemed to be telling the truth.

But the more I walked with them I could feel something telling me that they had something planned. It was supposed to embarrass me...whatever.

As we are now turning into a room after passing millions of rooms I see how small it is compared to mine. It's not small, it's as big as my living room in my apartment, so it's pretty big.

"Your clothes are right there. And also, we don't want you to leave anything out. You'll look amazing in it, trust me." She patted my shoulder and I looked at her, raising one eyebrow as I tried to see behind her facade. But she hid her intentions well, and I can't just accuse someone of doing something when I don't know the half of it.

Then group exits the room as I go to their bed. I see clothes laid out and I sneer as I see how ridiculous this is. This is nothing like me, there is stuff in this pile like I'm a teenage girl just starting to get out the routine of rainbows and sparkles.

I roll my eyes as I lay it out, putting it on as I hope this isn't a lie.

I look in the mirror and see myself. They even left me this phone, even though it doesn't even work, but cute case. I snicker as I can't believe how ridiculous I look. How old do they think I am? I'm twenty-three not fifteen.

Just when I make my way to the door it flys open, almost smacking me in the face.

"You look amazing! Lets go! Dexter and Ernest can't wait to see you!" One dark chocolate brown girl grabbed my arm, yanking me on as I mixed into their group. But as I was pulled I realized that they weren't wearing the same thing as me. Actually, the exact opposite!

Fancy clothing and designer brands! I looked like those damn teens sitting at the other table.

"Woah! Wait-."

I trip over my converse as I am falling outside, where the dinner is being held. All eyes are on me and I don't even have to look up to know so. I get on my feet as no one offers to help me up, and when I look around I see others trying to hold back laughs. Some people even covered their mouths to hide the fact that they were laughing quietly. I could somehow hear it, and it was almost mocking me as I was obviously tricked.

"Renee! Are you okay!? And...what's with your clothes? This is formal." I see Ernest in a suit and I sneer as I look over at the group of girls hiding behind him and Dexter. They know exactly what they did, but they knew if they hid behind these twins they'd be safe. Wrong. I'll get them later.

"I know it's formal! I can tell! And I'm fine, just leave me alone!" I shoved past them as I was angry enough that I looked stupid as it is. And now I had dirt stains on the knees of these actually cute skinny jeans.

Just walking through this crowd as they look at me makes me question why I'm even here. This isn't my family. Theses aren't my friends, I should be home with Jack. Kelly hanging out with us. Luke eating up the chip bags in my pantry. This! This is not what I want or wanted!

I plop down at a chair far away from everyone else. I see Coy and Teddy waving at me and I grin, trying my best to hide my anger. But I can tell that they knew past my grin and they nodded, looking over towards the girls flirting with the twins. I smile as Coy rolls his eyes, standing as he comes to sit next to me.

I gladly let him sit next to me as these are just benches outside.

"You look nice, very handsome."

"Thank you. You look prettier than all the girls here. Trust me, everyone knows it, they see you as competition, I can feel it." He smiles and I chuckle, happy that someone isn't making fun of me with their eyes.

Coy isn't ugly, he's actually very cute. Brown hair, fair skin, bright blue eyes, and a very pleasing smile. If I wasn't twenty three I think I'd date him. But I actually have no idea how old he is.

"So," Coy looks at me as I've caught his attention," how old are you? You seem like your seventeen or something."

"No. Well, I am seventeen, but naturally I'm seventy one. This is what I looked like when I turned seventeen and I decided to stunt my growth from there. Every werewolf has a choice when to stunt their growth. But it's more realistic if it's near your teens or twenties."

I stare at him, my mouth gaping as I find out how old he is. He laughs at my face and winks.

"If you want any elderly advice or knowledge, I'm right here. Just say'in." Coy grabs a plate and passes one to me and then I pass one to the person across from me.

"So, are you saying that everyone here is...older me?"

"In some sorts. Like, the children, they're still kids. They are naturally five or eight or two, but once they get older they have a choice when to stunt their growth. Then they'll age on, without their look faltering. You have that option to ya know. How old are you?"

"Rude. I'm twenty three."

"Well, when Dexter and Ernest changed you, you'll now and forever be stuck in the way you look now. Now when you're my age, you'll still look the same! Isn't that-."

"That's horrible! So I'll have to watch my family and friends die right in front of me!? How did you deal with it?" I ask him, Coy shrugging as he grinned.

"My parents were Werewolves, so when they were killed in a car crash, all I had was Teddy. We didn't really make any friends because, ya know, we didn't want to worry about losing them in the end. We had each other, and at some point, that's all we needed. But I don't do relationships with humans, never really found a mate. Don't know." Coy now has a plate with different types of vegetables on it.

"Also, how come you came to sit by yourself? You should be with them, they're your mates."

"Yeah but not my choice. I was forced into this, remember." I added, making Coy shake his head.

"Yes but this dinner was arranged for you. Go up there, be with your mates. Hmph, that's a first for me to say." He stood and grabbed my hand, pulling me along the tables as we went to Dexter and Ernest. People obviously starred, I'm not if it's the outfit or Coy and I. I barely know him and he's already making me feel close to him. Closer than I am with the twins.

As we are now with the twins they see me, Ernest eyes lighting up, Dexter looking at me.

"We were wondering when you would come up here."

"He was, I wasn't. You and Coy seemed to be doing just fine." When Dexter said that the girls giggled, making me yank my hand out of Coy's.

"I didn't want to come up here. But Coy insisted it was the right thing to do."

"Oh! So you will listen to him, but not your own mates. That's messed up." I hear someone's voice as I look over, seeing Isabelle smirking at me.

"Is it your business?"

"Yes, yes it is. Especially when you disrespect my future mate."

"I never said I'd be your mate. Never will be." Dexter said and I couldn't help but let out a little laugh.

"Besides! You look like you came out of middle school and right into high school. Go back with your boyfriend and leave us-." I don't know what happened but I saw myself grabbing a cup full of something green, and tossing it at her face. Everyone gasped as she was now drenched in alcohol, her makeup now liquidy and skimpy dress wet.

"How. Dare. YOU!" She has grabbed her plate full of food and has tossed it at me, but instead of me being covered in food, I see Dexter in front of me. His expensive suit is covered and Isabelle has panic in her eyes.

"Yes! FOOD FIGHT!" Our heads turn over to the teens running over at us throwing food as now we all are in the charade. Coy is covered in cake and I'm covered in whatever this red sauce is. But food is flying everywhere and all I can see is Dexter and Ernest standing in the middle of it, angry as can be as I could feel the anger radiating off them.

I crawl to them as I try to dodge most of the food flying everywhere. I can barely see since there's soda stuck in my eyes. But as I stand up I'm now next to them, between them as I'm now cased with protection as no food comes for them.

Then all of a sudden everything stops.

"ENOUGH!" I hear two booming voices echo around me and everyone starts whimpering. The food is put down and everything calms down as I realize how much power these twins really have.
