4. Impossible

I've always considered myself the girl that attracts weird things, or men, or animals, or anything that goes along with that. But never did it occur to me that maybe this is a sign from god telling me that-

"I just need to be lonely forever."

"Impossible! If he wanted that than he wouldn't have let you have awesome friends like us! It's something else..." Luke looks at the knife a guy I met three weeks ago dropped. He never did come back for it so I guess it belongs to me now.

"Then what is it. Those twins said 'mate' like I'm their mate. The fuck, I'm not an animal, all I want is to have a boyfriend who doesn't make me uncomfortable every second he lays eyes on me. It's awkward and despite their good looks, they give off a creepy, stalking era." I insist as I see Kelly shake her head.

"Those guys just wanted to tap you. I don't get why you're being so stingy. One is nothing, but having two guys pleasuring you at the same time-."

"For once in your life can you think of something else other than sex!?" I shout, making her crumble into her little bubble.

I only invited Luke and Kelly over, Jack would be among them if he didn't live here. But he does so it was easier. We all sat at the island in the kitchen, racking our brains on those twins.

"They didn't even give us their names..."

"That's not suspicious at all. I wouldn't associate myself with them if I were you."

"Well good thing I haven't even been hanging with them. The last thing I need is to see their faces. I need something to distract myself with." I went to the pantry and grabbed some ramen and a bowl.

"We could always go to a party. There's one huge party going on downtown. It's a little risqué, but not enough to put you in some sort of shock. But I have heard when you go here, you'll always wake up on the floor, very drunk and a heavy hangover." Luke showed me his iPhone where I saw an add for the party. Showing some girls flaunting themselves and men behind them throwing money at them.

I grimace as I smack his phone away from me.

"That looks like a strippers paradise. No thanks."

"It's just the picture. It's in a huge underground area and there'll be multiple areas where you can hang. I've been there before when I was in high school with my other friends. Trust me, there's even an area where you can sit and watch TV while people deliver you food or drinks. So..." Luke, Jack, and Kelly edged up on me as they had their faces pleading for me to come.

The last thing I needed was to go to a huge party full of strangers. What if I saw someone I knew? What if I saw someone (twins) that I don't want to see...

"Fine. But one of you is staying by me the whole time."

"I will! You seem to be attracting the hottest guys these days. I'm in with ya." Kelly nudged my shoulder and I smiled, getting up as I realized I forgot about my cold bowl of ramen in the microwave. When did I even have a chance to do that?

"Okay, now Luke and I will get ready and Renee and Kelly, you two can get ready. It's an exciting party, lots of guys there most likely. So, if you really want a boyfriend, I suggest you dress like your still eighteen." Jack winked and him and Luke left to wherever they're heading to get ready.

I sighed, not really excited for this party. But I knew they all meant well, but I just don't want to go to a party. A party sounds like a place someone goes when they have nothing else better to do. I mean, that goes for me, but I could be reading a book or binge watch Netflix like a freak...

"Kelly-."

"Don't even think about it! You already agreed on it and there's no going back! Come on! I know you still have some of my clothes left over here from when I stay over. We are the same size, so you can wear some of my clothes." She chatted on and on about it and I was just her puppet the whole time. This wasn't even amusing to me as she discussed fashion trends and some guys.

Especially the twins in particular.

"I don't want to annoy you again, but I think the twins will be at that party. What do you think?" She rested some floral shorts on my lap and a orange shirt that stopped at the mid of my stomach.

"I don't care. I'm hoping I don't see them. Every time I do they seem to always make me...what's the word?" I thought on it as she laid out some all red Superstar adidas and nodded.

"Sexual desire? That's what I get. Put that on. You will most definitely look like a teenager. You'll be hot showing off your legs. And your toffee brown skin will make these clothes glow with the vibrancy. I'm so excited! My turn!" She squealed and I smiled, getting up to change.

"No. It's a nightmare when I think of them. Yes, they are very good looking, but they just give off this era that...they are very...dominant..."

"Yes! Almost like an Alpha! Where I've seen in books they will chase after you then will bite you. After that they will give you anything they want and pleasure you until all your cravings are met..."

"So a sugar daddy."

"Yes. I'm just messing with you since I found out about that Liam dude. Just pulling your leg." She laughs and I pull on these shorts and the shirt. Putting on no-show socks as I slip on the adidas.

As I do my hair I start to think on how lucky I am with my hair. Since I'm black I've always gotten compliments on my hair. Saying I was lucky to be born with 'white hair' which sounds kind of rude to me. But I don't know. I slip on some bracelets and put on some matte lipstick. I spray myself with peach perfume and turn around, seeing Kelly dressed too.

We both gasp at our transformations and I think she looks way prettier than me.

"Kelly..."

"Renee..."

"Stop, you look way better than me! I guess I shouldn't be surprised-."

"Oh shut it! You look so good right now! All the guys will see you and fall head over heals for you."

"I should be saying that about-."

"Renee! Kelly! Lets go!" I heard Jack call and we left my room. When we stood in front of them their mouths fell open as Kelly and I glanced at each other.

"We're ready. Lets go." I chuckle as I grab Jacks hand, tugging on it as I look towards Luke as he is rubbing the back of his neck shyly as he looks at Kelly. It's to bad he has a long distance girlfriend, because they're kinda cute together.

"You look very beautiful. I thought you would wear some comfortable clothes but..."

"No. I need to go out into the world and making self look like shit won't cut it. I'm still gonna wear my glasses, but I guess it'll make me look younger." As we walk to Jacks Land Rover, I'm just telling saying, his family has a lot of money. But they aren't filthy rich, but they could buy a Ferrari and go to sleep just fine.

He hangs out with us and lives a simple life away from his family and friends because he always felt used. Like people only hung out with him for his money. Not us, only because we don't care for that stuff, it's the personality that counts...and some looks.

As he opens the door for me I'm sitting in the front with him. Kelly and Luke sit in the back and I can't imagine how he must feel.

Kelly has been my best friend since kindergarten, growing up together, watching each other go into our own. Watching out for one another as she gained popularity in high school for her looks. I was popular because I was her friend, and people only spoke with me out of pity I think.

But she always stood by me and went nowhere without me. She tried to get me boyfriends and none of them truest liked me. They were doing it for her to get in her pants. You'd think, she totally lost her virginity. Actually she hasn't. She almost did, but she quickly ended it before it went farther. She's actually kind of innocent, in a odd way.

Jack is now driving and I sigh as I lay my head on the window. I look behind and see Kelly playing on her phone, Luke texting to probably his girlfriend.

I've known Luke since high school in 9th grade. We met when Kelly tried setting us up. After clicking I admitted he was very good looking but I wanted to be friends. He agreed and we went from there. He and I tried dating in 11th grade, and it lasted for a few months, but we stopped it in fear of losing our relationship as being friends. I'm so happy we did, or we probably wouldn't be here. What if I married him...?

Doubt it.

Last but not least, Jack. We met on the last year of high school. He was new and he wanted to get away from Beverly Hills and into something different. At first everyone thought he was joking, but we found he was really serious. Then he started hanging out with us. Again, Kelly trying to set us up. But we agreed as best friends, it just seemed more right.

Now. Here we are going at twenty three and some twenty four.

Before I realize it I see we're in front of an abandoned building, but there is lots of cars surrounding it. No - hundreds! I get out the car, looking around as I watch Kelly slide out next to me. Right when we look to our side we see some teen guys checking us out, smirking at us as we stand there.

"Are you kids lost?" I mock, raising my eyebrows as I smile, trying to act like I'm confident. Even though I'm scared to death.

"No. Are you? Would you like to come with us? We aren't bad guys." They shove each other playfully and I see that Kelly isn't into his game. She never took a liking to younger guys, I guess this game is over.

"Meh. We don't hang with little boys. Especially ones that haven't had puberty yet." I shrug as some blush, walking away as they were rejected.

"Renee, that was awesome. I'm not into teen boys and you instantly controlled that whole conversation. Love it!" She gushed and I immediately thought about-

"Where's Jack and Luke?" I ask, looking in the car and I see that it's empty. The doors are locked and I know that they-" They abandoned us!? You have got to be kidding me!" I grit my teeth as I have no idea how to get inside.

"They aren't that dumb. They wouldn't just-." Kelly's phone went off and so did mine. Getting a message that said:

Jack & Luke

Sorry! We saw u two talking to some guys and we hope u made it inside!

"They're dumb as fuck." I hiss, shoving my phone back in my shorts pocket. What do they take us for! Especially me!?

"We will be lost out here if we don't find a way in. So far, all I see is cars and some dim lights. Lets follow that way." Kelly pointed and started jogging. I kept pace with her as I was in tennis shoes and considering she was in heels she did a good job. But as we walked on we went into a dark area, the light a distance away.

"Kelly?" I called and I stopped walking as I didn't hear her heels hitting the concrete. I blink, trying to focus my vision in the dark, only getting half way there.

"Kelly please this is not funny!" I croak as I lose my voice hearing a faint nestle of something. I turned around, not seeing anything as I was desperate now. I started walking, not even caring where I was going. I couldn't see the dim light anymore and for all I knew I was in an abandoned area.

As I walked on I heard growling, grabbing my phone as I turned on the flashlight. I skimmed the area, seeing I was - just like all haunted movies - in an alley. I took in a hitched breath as I saw two - now four bright eyes shining in the light. I freeze, seeing as I pull the phone farther, seeing two wild wolves looking at me. Saliva crawling down their lips and their canines sharp.

Then I bolted. I dropped my phone in the process of my abrupt sprint. I turn back to get it, only to find the wolves charging at me. I find myself screaming as I just leave it, sprinting off as I turned unknown corners. I could barely see where I was going. Only footsteps as my fear became horribly real as I was having a panic attack.

I turn once more, to only slam right into a wall. I groan as I feel my glasses crush against my face. When I turn around I see the two wolves, but slowly, they emerge.

From walking on all fours to two humans stalking towards me. I shook my head wildly as I couldn't believe my eyes. I must be dead...I have to be...this is almost about what Liam said...

Werewolves...Impossible...

As they approach closer I see their faces becoming clearer and my throat squeezes shut.

The twins, their beauty so clear in the darkness. I feel tears in my eyes and shake my head, pressing my body into the wall, wishing to fall through it.

"See? Didn't we say we'd see you again?"

"Yes we did. I guess we weren't really clear on how or when we'd see you again. Or how'd we appear."

"Yes. Sorry about that."

"But since you are our mate, it didn't seem right at the moment."

"You belong to us."

"Not one of us, but both of us."

"We will share you."

"For you are our mate."

"We're both Alphas."

"And if we wanted to, we could turn you into one of us."

"Right here."

"Right now."

I glance between the beautiful, muscular men as they stare into my eyes. Both twins that radiate under the full moons rays, and have just turned human, from being a werewolf. I want to scream, but it's like my lips are sealed as their eyes begin to glow, and they smile, large canines replacing the small, human ones. I lose my breath as they both bite one side of my clavicle, everything turning black.

But I can still move, I look around and but blackness has consumed everything.

"You think this is the side effect of turning someone into one of us?"

"Considering she's our first member in our pack I have to say yes. I'm unsure."

"Father told us that if we turn a human that we will earn more powers. Is that true or false?"

"How am I supposed to know. I wasn't close to him like you were. All I know is that she's our mate, I could feel it."

"Same here."

I wanted to say something as they had their conversation, but all I felt was this mass wave of heat take me over. I'm turning? What does that even mean? This is so weird to me and I'm so confused.

But then I feel this burning sensation on my skin. It's crawling up my body and it hurts. I try to hold back the scream that is trapped in my throat, but when the flames travel to my neck they're released.

I'm screaming as it hurts so badly. I can't breath and I'm on the ground as my legs have crumbled under me. My eyes are blinking back tears as the salt in my tears burns my eyes, making the pain even worse.

"Ernest what's this?!"

"I don't know! We must take her pain away, that's all I can say." I don't know which one is Ernest but I feel hands clasp each one of my pains. Then all of a sudden the flame hits me all in the center of my body. I scream as it is a pain beyond explanation, I'm not even sure if I'm alive anymore. My lungs are tight and burning, no air coming to my lungs.

I'm hyperventilating, because I can't catch any air. I am squeezing whoever is holding both of my hands, my nails digging into their skin.

"She's dying! This was not the plan Dexter!" I hear - I'm guessing - Ernest's voice sound panicked, and I can hear the other guy breathing heavily.

"Just keep taking her pain. Don't stop, no matter how... excruciating it is, remember, she's our mate." I hear - I think - Dexter say through clenched teeth.

I slowly start to regain my breath, my vision slowly coming back as I can see through my glasses. Until they become blurred and I can't see out them, I can't feel the pain anymore and the burning sensation is only minor. Almost like a cramp.

I sit up, removing my glasses as I can see perfectly. I blink, realizing I can see, and when I look towards the two twins, I see four, red glowing eyes looking at me. And I immediately scream.

"No! Please, please, don't scream!"

"Yes! Please don't scream!"

"Why the hell not!" I shout and I glance between them as I can now see everything perfectly. I can see in darkness like I'm wearing night vision goggles or something. I blink, shaking my head.

I couldn't process everything that was happening right now. My clavicles hurt like hell, I can see perfectly, and these beautiful twins won't leave me alone. But they now call me their mate!?

"Because, we just made you one of us. You should be hugging us and kissing us for making you into a fantasy. Not screaming like an annoying hyena."

"Yeah, we should know. We listened to one scream as we watched it give birth. It was something that I hoped my mate would do one day."

"Same here. Since your our mate, I hope you're ready to produce some puppies."

"Yes. Puppies. Some with my DNA. Some with my brothers DNA. And some mixed in with our DNA."

"Hope you aren't sensitive." They both smirked at me and I could feel my face scrunch up into a grimace.

"Get the fuck away from-."

Before I could finish my sentence I was being yanked off the ground, the twins holding half my body on each other's arms. They soon started running, and I screamed as I had no idea where I was being taken. And what had happened to me in that matter of time.
