16. Comfortable Kisses

The Emergence Of The Alpha Twins ( UNDER REVISING )

"No!" My body shots up as I look around trying to see if I'm still in that weird cabin. But I see I'm in the bed in the twins room, seeing Dexter sitting on the armrest of a chair.

He is looking at me in shock as I just woke up out of nowhere. My hands fly to my ears, trying to see if the blood was still there.

"Ernest and I cleaned you up. We made sure to get you far away from the other wolf in the woods. I don't know who it was but he knew we were there. But, good thing this place is secluded and since Ernest and I are the alphas, we have to protect everyone here. Despite them not fully being in our pack.

"That stray wolf obviously had an intention. Because it is very rare for a wolf to expose its self in day light, that's a death wish waiting to happen. But, you're safe, that's all that matters." He sighs as he gets off the armrest of the chair, sloppily plopping down on the bed.

His eyes were closed, and I watched as they opened, glowing a deep shade of red. They looked at me as he curled his eyebrows in a silly way.

"Ya know, what tricks do you got up your sleeve?" Dexters eyes go back to normal as he sits up, confused." You are my mate, of that is it, then we must get to know one another. Like, what's your favorite color."

Dexter looked around as his eyes landed on my skin.

"My favorite color is brown."

"I like blue. Why do you like brown?"

"Because that's the color of your skin." He smiles, making me blush as I find myself pulling up the sleeves on my black shirt.

"I like blue because the sky is blue and I've always loved looking at the different shades of blue that can occupy the sky at once. It's pretty to me." Once I explained my reason Dexter nodded.

"What's your favorite...food?

"Fries for sure."

"I like ribs. Especially ones where the meat easily just falls off the bone. Mm, just turns me on thinking about it."

"Hmm? You get turned on thinking about meat?" I joke and Dexter blushes, the first time I've seen him do that.

"Of course I don't! You...you know what I mean! Don't make this inappropriate!" He pouted and I chuckled. But quickly he was smirking as he leaned towards me." But we can make it very inappropriate if you want."

"No thanks. Now, what do you see as being the best day of your life?" I ask.

"I think it would be finding out that you were pregnant with my children. That would be the best day of my life for sure."

When he said that I looked away as I did realize I was his...mate. I had two mates to be exact too. I have to provide them with children, and this was kind of thrown at me.

Slowly, I'm just becoming accustomed to how this werewolf life works. Almost like moving from state to state and going to a new school after new school. Them at some point, you get used to it.

"What about you..." His voice comes out soft as I look at him, my nerves on edge as I become shy. I didn't take this into consideration on what I would say.

"I don't have a day. I haven't really thought about it that much. I guess I'll see in the later-."

"Booo!" He bursted, causing me to jump in surprise." I told you one of the best days for me, now it's your turn. Or, you can make up for it with a tiny little kiss."

Dexter started puckering up his lips, leaning forward as he grabbed my feet, pulling me towards him slowly.

"No! Stop it!" I giggled, now at the edge of the bed as he was on the ground, on his knees as he looked up at me. All I did was plant a tiny kiss on his lips, and pulled away.

He grinned, his eyes sparkling as I felt a mass of light heat hit me. It was almost...it almost felt flirtatious. Dexter stood, sitting on the chair that he sat on the armrest of.

I found myself getting out the bed as I put my hair up in a ponytail. He patted his lap, grabbing a hat from the floor as he put it on backwards.

My legs carried me to his lap, straddling him as I smiled. My arms wrapped around his neck and I started scratching the back of his scalp.

"That feels nice baby." That was the first time he's called me that...I like it...

"Would you like me to continue?" I scratched his scalp some more, his right leg twitching as it hopped up and down. He stuck out his tongue like a dog and his eyes almost rolled to the back of his head.

It was cute as we almost seemed like a real couple. It excited me and I couldn't describe how happy I was that this felt so real.

"Because it is real baby." My thoughts were interrupted as Dexter was looking at me. How did he read my mind?

"As you touch me I can almost hear your thoughts. I'm just telling you this right now." He informed me as I stopped scratching his scalp.

Instead I planted a feather of a kiss upon his lips, my head bursting with sparkles. Which is a first for me, I've never really been interested in a tiny little kiss. This feeling was new.

"I hope I'm not the only one who saw those sparkles, right?" He gazed up at me and I smiled.

"I saw them as well..."

Now we were just looking at each other. My nerves were calm, I wasn't uncomfortable or shy at all. Just looking at him and knowing he is funny and adorable under that hard shell of his.

Putting on that fake persona that he's a bully, bitch, loved seeing people hurt. It's the opposite, he's being what people expect him to be as alpha. Funny how this all works.

"Sorry." Dexter apologized and I frowned, confused.

"Wha-."

But I soon found out what it was as his lips gently crashed on mine.

The kisses weren't rushed, but calm and steady. Almost had a little beat to how our lips collided and turned. Our bodies curved into one another's as his arms held me steady at the low of my back.

I remember what Kelly said 'kissing feels like you and that person are the only people there. Just melting into one another.'

And she wasn't wrong at all.

When I open my eyes Dexters eyes are open too, gazing into mine as he closes them slowly. Then everything around us is black, just him and I sitting in a mass of darkness.

"What do you see?" Dexter whispers against my lips, kissing them softly as I saw nothing.

"Blackness..." I kiss his cheek, grazing my lips across his stubble on his face. We pull closer to one another, making our chests be pressed to one another's.

"Good."

I go back to his lips and kiss them slowly. I feel as if I'm a part of him as we melt together. It wasn't instantly, but slow as we were both resistant to let someone in.

The comfortable kisses slowed as I pulled away. My tongue licked across his bottom lip and he nibbled my bottom lip.

"Do you know how much I love you?" Dexter murmured, and I was frozen as I've never been told that someone loves me. Especially by a guy.

"No." I crawl off his lap, dazzled on how I should go from there.

"Well, I do love you. You might not feel it, but Ernest and I are your mates. We chose you because...it's called...have you heard of the expression, love at first sight?" He stands from the chair as he removes the hat.

"Yes, but that's just bullshit-."

"It isn't for Werewolves. It's true for us, very rare in our terms. Just by eye contact and smell, it gives it all away. It's even rarer if it works on a human, which was you. And the thing was, Ernest and I both felt true love for you..."

"True love doesn't exist Dex-."

"It's does for Ernest and I and all the Werewolves that hope that one day they will find their true mate! So don't throw that shit on me because I won't tolerate it!" He's in my face and his eyes are fading into a dark blue.

"I'm...sorry."

Dexters eyes calm down, sighing as he gives me a sincere grin.

"I'm sorry too. It's understandable in your circumstances, your human. I used to think the same thing as 200 years passed and all Ernest and I did was rely on one another. Until the day we saw you in that bar...it changed everything. Please, try to see where we're coming from." Dexter cradled my cheek, and I nodded, waking back.

"There's the comfortable kisses out the door." Dexter mumbled, making me chuckle quietly as he read my mind perfectly.
