"How are you feeling now? I mean..the last time I saw you, you were unconscious, lying on the floor.." I said looking into his eyes.

He was holding me by my waist.

"I am feeling very good." He whispered and kissed my earlobe.

"You should go to sleep now." I said and pushed his arm to detach myself from him.

"Hmm.." he nodded.

His eyes were already looking reddish.

He picked the towel and my eyes went to his knuckles which was covered with almost dried blood.

"Clean the wound after you have taken a shower and apply an antiseptic cream on it." I suggested.

He listened but turned towards the exit.

"I want you to do it. I am waiting in my room." He said and went out.

My heart flipped by hearing his words.

I went to my room to see his mother sitting on the bed.

I coughed to get her attention.

"I am sorry for his misbehaviour." She said and stood up.

"Here is the card and my driver will take you to your new apartment." She handed me the card which contains the address.

How will she react if I tell her that I am not leaving..

Will she understand?

"Umm... Actually I am not..leaving.." I said fidgeting with my fingers.

"What do you mean?" She asked narrowing her eyes.

"I... Will stay here till.."

I don't know till when..

"Till?" She asked.

Till..he wants me to?

Will it sound good?

"I.. I don't know."

"What do you mean by you don't know? What is going on between you two?" She asked sternly.

My eyes widened at her sudden change of tone.

I don't know..

What should I tell her?

Your son wants me and he is not letting me to go?

No words were forming when suddenly the door opened to reveal the devil himself.

His eyes met his mother's.

"What is going on James?" She asked him loudly.

He gave a look to me and entered the room.

"Nothing is going on between us like what you are assuming." He said and looked at me.

Yes. There is no relation between us.

Thanks for reminding me that.

I averted my eyes from him.

"Then what was that? Why were you behaving with her like that? And now she is saying that she will stay here? Since when have you started living with a girl?" She was asking him in anger.

"Mom, it's nothing.."

"Then what is it James? I thought Liza was a sweet girl and she is different from others but now I think she is too a gold digger." She looked at me. "And she has already captured your mind."

Whoa!!

"Excuse me Ma'am but you can't blame me like that. It is your son who is doing all these, and I am not a gold digger, I don't even want a single penny from your son. And if you want to know what is going on between us then fine, let me explain..."

"Mom there is a reason why she is living here." He cut me off and looked at me with no emotion on his face.

"What?" She was looking between us.

"I think... She is not safe.."

What?

How can you lie so many times?

I extremely hate liars.

"What?" His mother asked the same question.

"Yes Mom. The person who tried to harm me, then Robert and even Stella, and I think that person is following Liza too. I don't the reason why they are trying to harm her but.. I think it's my duty to save her." He assured her.

He is a master in telling lies.

"Oh no. Oh God please save them. But why do they want to harm us...who are they? I.. I don't want you to get hurt.." she started crying and hugged James.

"Mom everything will be alright. You should go now. Danny is waiting for you in the car." She nodded and looked at me.

"Sorry my dear. But I was shocked by your living here." She came and hugged me too.

You are so innocent that you always get into his words.

She said her goodbye to us.

"You are great at lying." I taunt him.

"And what do you think I lied about?" He asked me while raising his eyebrow and coming towards me.

"That you kept me here for my safety." He was close to me.

"Then tell me the reason why have I kept you here?" He said while pressing me to the wall.

My face heated up.

His hands captured mine and he held it above my head.

"Tell me." He whispered in my ear.

"I..I don't know.."

He rested his forehead on mine and left my hands.

"It is the truth Liza." He said seriously and held me by my shoulder.

What?

"I kept you here only for your safety. Even I was not wanting you to find out that it's my house. It was all going fine until you saw me that morning when I was in the pool. I knew that you will be furious about that so I wanted to keep it as a secret. And that is the reason you are not allowed to go out of this building alone." He said sincerely.

"But why is someone wanting to hurt me?" I asked feeling taken aback.

"Even I don't know the reason. And... Just now I came to know that I was being drugged.. and that was not the food poisoning but someone drugged my drink." He said clenching his jaw.

Oh God!

"I have done everything for the security of everyone associated to me but still someone dared to spiked my drink." He said looking at the distance.

"But.." he stopped me from speaking.

"You haven't sleep. Go to sleep for now. We will talk tomorrow." He kept his hand softly on my head and kissed it.

"Hmm.." I nodded.

He walked away from there.

Wow!

I am feeling...loved?

Rubbish!

But his little sign of affection is causing my stomach to flip.

How can I feel like this only by a soft kiss on my head?

Maybe your head got stuffed by his nonsense.

Oh God! He said he kept me for my safety..

Is it true?

Or he is again lying?

But why does he want me to be safe?

Ofcourse because he wants to...

You should go to sleep now.

There was a smile on my face when I went to sleep that night.
