Micah couldn’t stand it and blurted out, “Neville, it’s your fault.”

Neville glared at him fiercely. None of his friends had spoken ill of Madison. They all believed he was tired of her and didn’t cherish her. But they didn’t know that it was Madison who proposed the divorce.

Neville thought, ‘She is quite skillful, adept at acting and disguise, and she made me bear the blame.”

Neville now doubted if Madison ever loved him.

The thought of this made him sad.

He looked up at Madison, who casually flipped her hair. But the insignificant movement made her look charming.

Despite going against the crowd alone, she had such a strong aura, as if she had controlled the trend of the incident.

The victory was decided, but Madison didn’t rush to leave. She wanted to see how embarrassed the losers would be.

Sensing the situation was against them, Kara became uneasy. “You checked if the bag was genuine.”

They had deliberately observed the surrounding environment before they attacked Madison: The beverage section was relatively secluded, and the surveillance cameras couldn’t cover it. Even if they attacked her, Madison had no evidence.

Madison smiled nonchalantly. “It’s fine. A kind–hearted person has already recorded the whole process.”

Kara and the others looked skeptical.

Madison wasn’t a celebrity. Who would bother recording this?

Maybe she was just trying to bluff.

Kara decided to fight back. She said with red eyes, “Do you have any evidence? Don’t slander us.”

Madison laughed. “Alright. I’ll show you the evidence.

She turned in the direction of the shelves and said, “Mr. Myers, can I borrow your electronic screen for a moment?”

Micah chuckled. “It’s my honor to help you.”

“Thank you very much.”

Watching Madison talk to Micah, Neville tightened his fingers.

When Madison looked over, he thought she was going to ask him for help. Unexpectedly, she bypassed him and directly sought help from Micah.

She treated him as if he were invisible.

Micah intended to blow Madison a kiss, but he felt a cold gaze.

Awkwardly, he retracted his hand and, looking at Neville, smiled. “Neville, don’t misunderstand.“I can’t take it when a beautiful lady looks at me so affectionately. Moreover, she’s your ex–wife. I can’t just ignore her, right?“,

Neville felt uncomfortable and couldn’t vent his anger. In the end, he said through his clenched teeth, “Micah, don’t be so narcissistic. She didn’t look at you affectionately.”

Micah was speechless.

“Also, I have no relationship with her anymore. You don’t need to treat her well for my sake.”

Micah sneered and thought, ‘Since you have let it go, why are you still standing here? Everyone knows you never like gossip.

But Micah wouldn’t dare say these things out and only cursed Neville in his heart. Micah smiled at him. “Neville, how about you leave since you don’t care about her?”

Neville really wanted to twist off Micah’s head. Micah had become annoying lately and made him irritated.

Kara and the others panicked and immediately sent a message to Daisy.

Daisy replied: [Don’t panic. She’s just trying to deceive you. There’s absolutely no evidence.]

“We’re just students, not as powerful and wealthy as this lady. We can only be at the mercy of others.”

“We’ve admitted our mistakes and apologized. Why won’t she let us go and treat us so harshly?”

Public opinion was at their disadvantage now.

“So what if you’re poor students? Can’t she pursue your responsibilities when you make a mistake?”

“You proposed this bet, and she just asked you to fulfill your promise. Why bite back?”

“Does she have to forgive you if you apologize? Just now, you forced her to streak before you figured out if her bag was fake. You care about your reputation, and so does she.”

Kara and the others suddenly lowered their voices and cursed Madison in their hearts.

Madison was too powerful. With a few words, she had dominated public opinion. If she really revealed the video, not only would the crowd be on her side, but they might turn to denounce the girls.

Madison’s phone was already connected to the electronic screen. She glanced at Kara and the others, saying. “Girls, let me ask you again, are you sure you want me to show the evidence?”

Kara and the others did struggle, but ultimately, lured by the temptation of the bags and Daisy’s inducement, they believed Madison was just trying to bluff.

“We’re all gentle and delicate. How could we bully you? If you have a video, that’s great, as it can prove our

innocence.”

Madison raised an eyebrow. She knew very well the consequences of making the video public for these students. She wanted to give them a chance, but it seemed they were ungrateful.
