Chapter 48

.....The Next Day.....

After the incident yesterday we decided to finish packing today and just spend last night cuddling and watching movies together.

Currently we are already packing and hopefully we get to finish today.

"When did you get these?" Alex asks as I tirn around to see him holding the letters. Shit!

"What are those?" I ask as I walk towards him. I forgot I placed those under the bed.

"Don't play dumb Amelia, these are threats, how long have you been receiving these?"

There's no point in keeping it a secret know so I might as well just tell him.

"A few months ago" I say avoiding his gaze knowing he is definitely mad at me for hiding this.

"Why didn't you tell me!?!" He asks as he stands up while continuing to hold the letters.

"Because it could just be a prank of some sort" I say as I stand up.

"Have you forgotten what I told you yesterday?!?" He asks as his grip on the letters tighten.

"Why should I tell you if you didn't tell me that you got your security to follow me around for months?!?" I shout back at him and we were both left stunned because I never shouted whenever we had a fight or for any matter.

"I need fresh air" I say as I grab my bag and my car keys before leaving the appartment without waiting for his response.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

I parked my car in front of a restaurant near my appartment.

I entered and took a seat and the waiter approached me as I ordered and he left.

While I was waiting I was looking out the window as people passed by.

"you seem lost in thought" I look back to the seat across me to see it occupied by Andrew.

"Are you following me?" I ask

"No, we just happen to be at the exact time and place, but forget that, what time are you available for dinner tonight?" He asks and right now I just want to slap him in the face.

"Didn't I make myself clear yesterday" I say but before we get to say anything else my order comes.

"You did, but how could one dinner harm you hmm?"

"I said I don't want too, now leave" I say and he gets up.

"See you around" he says as he exits the restaurant.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

After I ordered I took a quick stroll in the park before I decided to drive home

I enter the appartment to spot Alex enter coming from the balcony.

"Hey" he says as he continues to walk.

"Hey" I say as I put down my things.

"I'm sorry for everything I've done these past few days. I shouldn't have raised my voice at you and I should've told you about the security, I'm sorry" he says as he approaches me

"I'm sorry as well, I should've told you about the letters you were just looking out for me and I shouldn't have shouted as well it was uncalled for, I'm sorry"

"Do you forgive me?" He asks as I nod and he cups my cheeks with his hands.

"What about me? Do you forgive me?" I ask and he kisses me.

After some time we pull aprt and we both leam our foreheads together before he speaks "I do, and I love you"

"I love you too" I say as we kiss again.

We talked for a bit more before we both decided to finish packing.

.....The Next Day.....

Today I will be meeting with Ethan for Lunch before I leave for Othilia.

"Do you want to come?" I ask Alex while we just lay on bed and he strokes my hair.

"Where?" He asks as I look up at him

"Lunch with Ethan and his wife" I say

"Sure, why not" he says as I start to get up from the bed.

Alex and Ethan met each other a few times already, whenever Alex would pick me up from work and they would run into each other.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

I decided to wear a white blouse with denim jeans with sneakers.

We planned to meet in the restaurant at around 12:30 and it is currently 11:45

"Are you ready?" Alex asks coming out of the bathroom.

"Yes" I say as he nods and we both exit the appartment to be greeted by Jason waiting outside.

We all enter the car and drive off towards the restaurant.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We enter the restaurant and spot Ethan on his phone with his wife Evelyn.

I've met Evelyn twice before and she seems like a nice person.

Ethan looks up from his phone and notices us before we start to walk towards them.

"Amelia, It's good to see you" Ethan says as we hug before he turns to Alex as I go greet Evelyn.

"Amelia, we haven't seen each other in how long" Evelyn says as we both hug each other before we turn to both men.

"Your Highness, It's good to see you as well" Ethan says as they both shake hands.

"Please, I've told you this before, Alex will do, anyways it's just us here" Alex says as Ethan nods.

"I would like you to meet my wife, Evelyn" Ethan says as Evelyn does a small curtsy to Alex.

"There's no need for that, you're both Amelia's friends and I want us all to treat each other as such and forget that I'm a prince for the moment" Alex says as both Ethan and Evelyn agree.

We all sit down, Alex and I on one side while Ethan and Evelyn across us.

We order our meals and start to have light conversations with one another until our food came.

After we had lunch Alex and I both say goodbye to Ethan and Evelyn as  we start to make our way back to my appartment.
