Chapter 36

.....The Next Day.....

Today Alex and I will be heading back to my appartment so I can gather my stuff for our trip to Othilia.

We will be meeting everyone else at the airport tomorrow.

Currently Alex and I are placing our things in the car already.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We just finished loading everyhting in the car.

We enter the house to inform my parents that we will be leaving already.

We spot them in the living room along with Abby and Aaron who will be going back as well today.

"Mom, Dad, We'll be going already"

"We will see you both tomorrow, Princess" Dad says before hugging me and giving a handshake to Alex.

"See you tomorrow" Mom says as she hugs me and Alex and we turn to Abby and Aaron.

"Lia, Could it be possible to drop us off in my appartment?" Abby asks

"Of course, right?" I turn to Alex as he nods before speaking "Yes, it's no problem"

"Thank you" she says as we both get in the car while Alex and Aaron load the remaining bags.

Aaron enters at the back and is seated with Abby while Alex and I are seated at the front.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We just dropped off Abby and Aaron in Abby's appartment and Alex and I are on our way to my appartment.

"Jason must be waiting already" I state

"He is actually, he called this morning asking what time we'll be returning"

Jason was left with Mike my neighbour since Alex did not want to bring him to my parent's house.

I know your wondering how could the future king just travel without security well...

He may have threatened Jason saying if he doesn't get three days of security free Alex will fire Jason.

Although I know he wouldn't do it due to them being good friends and besides Edward nor Victoria would allow Jason to be fired since he's been working with the royal family for a few years already and he is very much respected and trusted amongst the palace staff.

I respect Alex' decision since all he wants is a few days to be a 'normal guy' since his whole childhood he's been preparing to be king.

"What did you tell him?" I ask

"I told him we'll get there, when we get there"

"I can guarantee he wasn't proud of your answer"

"Indeed, he sure wasn't" he says as we continue to travel.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We made it back and we immeadietly spot Jason waiting outside the appartment building.

"Finally!" He says apparoaching us as we exit the car.

We both greet him as he does the sme and we all bring the things to the appartment.

We had Lunch and I started fixing my things for tomorrow.

.....The Next Day.....

The sound of the alarm ringing wakes me from my peaceful slumber.

"Love, you have to get up already"

"Five more minutes"

"Five minutes then you get up" Alex says as I hear the sound of footsteps moving away

.....Ten Minutes Later.....

"Darling, it's already ten minutes if you don't move now we will be late"

I groan as I get up and start to stretch.

"Good morning"

"Morning" I say

"I'll start preparing breakfast" Alex says as he exits the room.

I get my clothes and wak in the bathroom to start getting ready.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

I am wearing a white top with black jeans and a black cardigan with my sneakers.

Alex is wearing a grey shirt with black jeans with a leather jacket and sneakers.

We our on our way to pick up my parents with Alex' car while Jason is using my car to pick up Abby and Aaron in Abby's appartment due to all of us not fitting in one car.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We made it to my parent's house. I go down the car as the door of the house opens to reveal mom and dad with their bags.

Dad and Alex start loading the bags in the car while mom and I enter the car.

Mom and Dad will be seated at the back while Alex and I will be seated at the front.

After everything is loaded we make our way to the airport.

We all have a conversation on our way to the airport.

I get a message notification on my phone. I open my phone to see it's from Jason saying they are on the way to the airport already.

When did Jason get my number? I don't remember giving it to him. I should ask Alex later.

"Abby and Aaron are on their way already" I state as we continue with our conversation.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We made it to the airport at the same time as Abby and Aaron.

We all board the private plane and might I say it looks very fancy.

"It looks amazing"

"It is isn't it?" Alex says as I nod

We are all offered drinks as we enter.

We all take our seats. My parents, Abby and Aaron are all in one group of seats  while Alex and I in another since their area is only good for four people.

We all settle down and after waiting a few minutes we are finally clear for take off.

.....Two Hours Later.....

We finally made it. We just landed.

"It's good to be back" I say as I look at Alex who smiles back at me.

"It is, mother and father miss you"

"I miss them too" I say as we all get up and start to leave the plane.

We all walk out of the airport to spot five black SUV's with a bunch of guards, the first and last cars are the escort cars. Alex and I enter the second car, my parents ride the third car and Abby and Aaron take the fourth car.

We all start to travel to the palace with Jason seated at the front of the car with the driver.

"Isn't this atttacting attention?" I ask as I look at Alex who is looking out the window.

"The people wil think it's just a visitor" he says while looking at me as I nod and lean onto him and he kisses my head.

The rest of the ride was in silence as we  both watch our surroundings pass by.
