Chapter 32

-----Sophia's POV-----

After Alex calls me I decided to tell Maddie what has been happening.

I dial her number and wait for her to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Maddie we need to go to Amelia's appartment. Now"

"Why?"

"I will tell you everything but get in your car and start making your way to Amelia's appartment"

We both start to travel while I was telling her everything.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

Finally I made it. It was very traffic on the way here.

I finally arrive and it turns out Maddie and I arrived at the same time.

"What are we going to do?"

"Try our best to convince her"

"Where's Alex?"

"Probably upstairs already"

.....Fast Forward to Sophia and Maddie entering the appartment.....

We all enter and take a seat in the living room.

"How have you been?" I ask

"Does it matter?" She says looking away from Maddie and I.

"Of course it does, you're our bestfriend"

We sit in silence for a few seconds before Maddie speaks.

"Why don't you talk to him?"

"Don't you know what he did?!?" Amelia says looking at Maddie

"She knows, Amelia he did not do it"

She walks away and enters her room with her phone and shows us the picture of Alex and Natalke kissing.

"Isn't that Alex and Natalie kissing!?!" She says befire breaking down and crying once more.

Maddie and I approach her on the floor and we hug her as she continues to cry.

"I thought he was different" she says

"He is, give him a chance to explain" Maddie says

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

She finally agrees to talk to Alex.

She opens the door to reveal Alex seated on the floor.

When his eyes land on Amelia he stands up immeadietly.

"Amelia, we'll be in your room" I say as she nods and Maddie and I walk towards her room to give them some privacy.

-----Amelia's POV-----

After we hear the door close Alex starts to speak.

"Amelia, please let me explain" he says as I nod.

We both enter and sit in the living room

"I did not kiss her"

I grab my phone to show him the picture before speaking "Isn't that both of you kissing?"

"Yes, that's me but I did not kiss her she kissed me, there's a difference"

We sit in silence for a few seconds.

"Why were you with her?" I ask

"She wanted to donate a huge amount of money to one of the orphanages and father was supposed to meet her but he had an urgent meeting to attend to so he assigned me" he says before speaking again.

"Amelia, I love you and I would never want to do anything to hurt you. The kiss did not mean anything it just turned out the paparazzi were there that time so they got a picture" He says as I look down breaking eye contact from him while I decide on what to do.

"Is she really your ex?" I ask as I keep my head low.

"Yes, but I don't love her anymore. I love you, please believe me. I'm sorry for putting this wedge between us"

We sat in silence for about two minutes before I looked back up at him.

"I believe and forgive you" I say before we both stand up and he hugs me.

"Thank you, I'll make it up to you" he says

After about two minutes we pull apart and I go to my room to call Sophia and Maddie.

I enter to see them both on their phones while on my bed.

They spot me and put down their phones before Maddie speaks "So what happened?"

"I forgave him"

"Well, it's good to know you both are together once more" Sophia says

"It does, I thought he was like Andrew"

"Well, he isn't"

We talk a bit more in my room before we all go to the living room to see Alex on the phone with someone. Alex doesn't notice us since he is facing the window.

"Yes.....alright.....bye"

He turns around to see the three of us standing and watching him.

"Madeline, Sophia, Thank you for helping me out" he says

"No problem and just call me Maddie. Madeline is too long" Maddie says as he agrees to do so.

"Yes, I agree it wasn't that hard anyways"

Sophia and Maddie sat on the floor despite Alex offering them his seat while Alex and I sat on the couch.

.....A Few Hours Later.....

"You guys might want to see this" Maddie says before she turns on the TV and flips through different channels until she stops as we all look at the TV.

"Prince Alexander of Othilia was seen flying to New York in his private jet. A few hours after he was last spotted kissing with his ex girlfriend Natalie Evans" the reporter says

"It is rumored that the Prince has a girlfriend in New York. Could he be visiting her? Or has the mystery girl seen his pictures with Natalie? We will keep you updated as soon as we get more details"

"Shit" I hear Alex mutter before he gets a phone call.

He gets up and walks to the balcony as I continue to just stare at the TV

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

Alex walks back in and sits down but before he gets to say anything else he gets interrupted.

"Here in the photo we can see Prince Alexander with a brunette in a cafe in Othilia having breakfast"

The reporter says as a picture of Alex and I is seen.

Thankfully my hair has covered my face so whoever took the photo only saw my hair and not my face.

I turn to Alex to see him surprised as well with the picture.

The four of us remain in silence for a few seconds.

I look at Alex and he gestures to my room as I nod before informing Sophia and Maddie.

"We'll be back" I say as we both walk towards my room.

We enter and Alex closes the door and we both sit down on the bed before I speak first.

"What do we do?" I say as I look at him

"We can continue to keep our relationship private, if that's what you want?" he says as he puts an arm around me and I nod.

"It is, but what about you"

"I prefer to keep it private as well first"

"Don't worry if our relationship comes out, I'll protect you from anything" he says as he kisses my head before he continues "Plus, father wants to assign you a bodyguard here in New York to make sure nothing happens in case the press finds out, but it's your choice"

"I think I'm good for now" I say as we talk for a few more minutes about our plans incase the paparazzi find out about our relationship.
