Chapter 19

It is already Sunday and we just got back from Canada.

The things I needed to do in Canada were accomplished and I got to give all the details Mr. Davis needed.

On our way back we dropped Margaret off before heading to my appartment.

"Good to be home" I say as I lay down on the couch.

"It is" Alex says as he sits down beside me.

Jason went to Mike's appartment and left our things in the room already.

Jason even asked for Margaret's number while we were in Canada.

.....A Few Hours Later.....

It is already afternoon and I have work again tomorrow while Alex has another meeting.

Tomorrow's already Monday meaning Alex will be going back soon.

Right now I am answering a few emails and sending out a bunch of messages, while Alex is also on his computer.

We are both seated at the Dining room so we have more space to work.

"Tomorrow's already Monday" he says while looking at me.

"Don't remind me" I say as I look at him for a second and focus back on my work.

"How about we go somewhere?" He says while holding my hand which makes me look into his eyes.

"We might be seen"

"I have an idea" he says as he lets go of my hand and walks to the balcony "Stay here, its a surprise for later"

He goes out the balcony and closes the door, he calls someone unfortunately I can't here him, which makes me continue my work instead.

A few minutes later, Alex comes back while grinning like a cheshire cat.

"Be ready by 7 tonight" he says as he sits down across me.

"Why?"

"It's a surprise"

"I don't like surprises"

"You will like this one, trust me" He says while staring into my eyes as I stare back at him.

"Alright"

He stands up and shuts off his computer and stands up from his seat.

He walks over to me and takes hold of my hand, which makes me stand up as well.

"I will see you later" he says as he kisses my hands.

"Where are you going?"

"You will know later" I look at him questioningly as he just smirks and kiss me.

"What do I need to wear tonight?"

"Anything"

I nod as we both kiss once more and he leaves the appartment with Jason who I noticed was by the door when Alex opened it.

I grab my phone and message the girls..

'I need help' -A

'With what?' -M

'Something to wear for tonight' -A

'Well, what is going on tonight' -S

'A date with Alex' -A

'We'll be right over in 15 minutes' -S

'I can't, I'm at work' -M

'Forget work, this is a fashion emergency' -S

As usual very dramatic when it comes to fashion or looks.

'On my way already' -M

'Me too' -S

I put down my phone and I close my computer knowing I won't be able to do anything today.

I lay down on the couch and scroll through instagram while waiting for the girls.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

I heard a few loud knocks on the door I wake up and look around, I accidenetally fell asleep while waiting for them.

I get up and stretch a bit and head to the door.

I open it and they both barge in like they own the place.

"WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE PAST HALF AN HOUR!!!" Sophia shouts

Sophia always losest her temper pretty quickly compared to Maddie and I.

"I'm sorry I fell asleep, Why didn't you call me instead?" I say as we all took a seat in the living room.

"Have you seen your phone?" Maddie asks as I shake my head no as I grab my phone from the coffee table.

I open my phone to see lots of missed calls from the both of them.

I always wake up to the sound of my alarm yet I did not now.

I checked the volume and found out that my ringtone volume was on silent.

I wonder when I put it on silent mode.

Until I replay everything I did so far and that's when I remember. I placed it on mute when I was replying to my work emails since I wanted silence.

I looo back at them to see them both staring at me.

.....One Hour Later.....

I explained to them why my phone was on silent mode and they asked about Alex and I so it took one hour to tell them everything that has been happening.

Right now both Sophia and Maddie are basically messing up my thing trying to find "the perfect outfit"

When I was younger, clothes and make-up never interested me unlike other girls I would always go for books and music and stay in my room the whole day.

Now I try to keep reading but things are much harder now since I have a job which doesn't give me that much free time to read anymore.

"FOUND IT!!!" Sophia squeals as she lifts the dress up.

She shows a red knee length dress which I don't remember buying at all.

"I think that's Abigail's dress" I say

"Well then let's call her" Sophia says as she grabs her phone.

It takes me a few seconds to register what Sophia just said before I react "No! There is no need I am sure we can find something else" I say as Sophia rings Abigail's number

"Something else?" Maddie says

"We literally checked every single dress you have already" Sophia says as Abigail answers her phone.

"Hey Abigail!, Do you mind if Amelia borrows you red off shoulder dress?"

"No, not at all, she is free to use it"

"Thank you"

"May I ask why? Amelia isn't one to go party around and get ready"

"Oh don't you know?"

"Know what?"

"Amelia is dating Prince Alexander of Othilia"

"WHAT!?!" Abigail shouts at the phone "Since when?"

"About two weeks ago"

"Is this some kind of joke?"

"Nope, he is even staying here with Amelia"

"Lia? Is Amelia there?" Abigail says

Lia is my nickname and ever since I was born Abigail would always use Lia while I call her Abby.

"Yes, I am here"

"Can we meet on Saturday for dinner?"

"Sure, text me what time and where"

"Mhmm, I have to get going, I am at work right now, got to go, see you on Saturday, Lia"

"See you" I say as she hangs up.
