Chapter 14

After I showed Alex around we both decided to just stay in and watch a movie.

We are currently deciding what to watch. (We've been trying to decide for the past hour already).

"How about something Disney?" I ask

"Like?" He asks as we both sit on the couch, along with the snacks around us.

"Beauty and the beast?"

"Alright, but next time I am choosing" he says as he puts it on and I nod.

Before the movie starts, I lean on him and he puts an arm around me as we both watch the movie.

.....A Few Hours Later.....

The movie just finished and I decided to start making dinner because I have work in the morning and I need to get up early.

"What do you want to have for dinner?"

"I am fine with anything, but I want you to just relax" Alex says as he wraps his arms around my waist.

"Then how will I make dinner if I relax?" I ask him

"Who said you will make dinner?"

"Me" I say

"Nope, not tonight sweetheart, I will cook dinner you just relax, you have work tomorrow"

"You can cook?" I ask, I never thought a prince would cook.

Besides, don't people cook for them?

"Of course I can" he says pretending to be hurt with what I said.

"Who taught you?" I ask as I laugh at him.

"My mother" he says with a smile.

"Alright, if you say you can cook" I say with a bit more laughter.

"I can and I am going to prove it" he says as he kisses me and starts to move around the kitchen.

While waiting for dinner I decided to sit on the couch and check my phone for any messages.

'I got a new business trip tomorrow, I will be gone for a few days' -S

'Where are you going?' -M

'Italy, want to come?' -S

'I would love to but I have appointments for work already' -M

'What about you Amelia? How is life going with Prince Charming?' -S

"Oh great" I mutter to myself.

'Prince Charming? He has a name' -A

It doesn't take long for me to receive another reply.

'All right fine, What did you and ALEXANDER do after Maddie and I left?' -S

'Nothing' -A

'That is a lie' -M

'I REPEAT TO EVERYONE, THAT IS A LIE!' -M

These are the people who I can never lie to, sometimes I wonder if I am connected to any lie detector.

'The truth?' -S

'Okay, fine he is staying with me, in my appartment and we just watched a movie' -A

'😮😮😮' -S

'I still cannot believe that one of my bestfriend's dating the prince and future king of Othillia!!!' -M

'I am speechless' -S

We continue to chat some more until Maddie had to go.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

I leave my phone on the table and I make my way towards the kitchen.

Alex is cooking something on the stove when he notices me enter.

"What are you making?" I ask approaching him.

"You will have to guess that" he says mixing whatever is in the pan.

"Come on, just tell me"

"Just wait a few more minutes"

I nod before I speak "wine?"

"Yes, please" he says as I grab the wine and the wine glasses.

I make my way out of the kitchen and I sit at the dining table which is good for four.

A few minutes later Alex comes out with two plates and places one in front of me.

When I look at the dish I was surprised to see pasta. I love pasta.

"Mmm" I say as I smell the pasta "It smells delicious"

Alex chuckles at my reaction and we both start to eat.

Oh my God! This is literelly the best pasta I've tried. No, I am not saying it because he is my boyfriend but because it literally tastes amazing.

"How is it?" He asks and I can tell there is a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"This is the best pasta I have ever tried"

"Come on just tell me the truth"

"I am, it tastes amazing, remind me to thank your mother for teaching you how to cook" Alex laughs at my comment and we both eat the rest of the meal in comfortable silence.

"Let me get the dessert" he says

"You made dessert?" I ask surprised

"Of course, what's a meal without dessert?" He says as he stands up and walks to the kitchen.

He returns with two slices of chocolate cake and I can feel my mouth watering just seeing the dessert.

He places one plate in front of me and one in front of him as he sits down.

I try the cake and I am completely shocked at how good Alex is at cooking and baking.

"You have to teach me how to cook"

"I take it, you like it?"

"Like it?!?, I love it" he laughs at me as we both talk while we enjoy our dessert.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

I start to get the dishes but Alex stops me from getting his as he stands up.

"I will do it" he says

"You already cooked let me" I say as I grab my plate first.

"I insist" he says grabbing the plate from me.

"I can do it Alex" I say as I reach out to grab the plate.

"Okay, how about we both do it?" He asks

"Deal" I say as we both bring the dishes and clean up everything before we leave the kitchen.

We already placed our bags in my room. We make our way to my room and get ready.

"You may go ahead if you want" I tell Alex while I fix my things.

"Are you sure?" He asks

"Yes, I still have some things to check on for work"

"Alright" with that he heads to the bathroom and soon I hear the shower go on.

I grab my laptop and I place it on the desk in my room and I start to check other work emails while replying to them as well.

A few minutes later the bathroom door opens and out comes Alex with his hair still wet in a black shirt with grey pants.

"You done?" He asks approaching me.

"Almost, just a few more emails to reply to then I am done" I say

He nods as he sits on the bed and grabs his phone from the night table he left it at before taking a shower.

After replying to all the emails I needed to reply to I grab my clothes and enter the bathroom.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

I get out of the restroom to see Alex still awake and on his phone.

"You're still awake?" I ask taking a seat on the bed.

"You weren't here yet" he says putting down his phone on the night table.

"You didn't have to wait for me" I say as I set up my alarm.

"I know, but I wanted to" he says

I nod as I get in bed and he wraps his arms around me and soon sleep takes over both of us and we both fall asleep.
