Chapter 103 Both Losing Control (2)
âNicholas, what are you doing?â
He was moving so quickly that Nancy was having trouble keeping up. Moreover, she had no idea why he had suddenly pulled her upstairs.
âSlow down, Nicholas. And the TVâs still on,â Nancy said.
Nicholas called out, and the television immediately switched off.
The moment they reached the bedroom, Nicholas closed the door, took Nancyâs hand, and pressed her against it.
âIâm a bit thirsty,â he said, gazing deeply at Nancy with his dark eyes.
âIâll get you some water then.â
No need, Nicholas replied, then lowered his head and kissed her.
Nancy widened her eyes in disbelief. So, he hurriedly brought me up here, not for any other reason but...
to kiss me!
If she hadnât been holding onto his shirt and leaning against the door, Nancy was sure that she would have collapsed.
She had never experienced someone so gentle and passionate at the same time. It left her overwhelmed several times.
However, no matter how much she wanted this, there were certain things she could always distinguish.
When they separated, Nicholasâ eyes were bloodshot and filled with desire. His direct and ardent. longing was unmistakable.
She was not a naive girl, so how could she not understand?
âNancy...â His forehead rested against hers, and he called out with such tenderness.
âAre you still afraid?â
His fingers gently lifted the stray hair from her forehead, tucking it behind her car. Then, his hand landed on her cheek, softly caressing it.
He was so gentle, and everything about his touch and gaze radiated tenderness.
Iâm sorry. I was horrible to you. Donât worry, Iâll be gentle and careful.â
Nancy lowered her head and remained silent, but her face had already turned as red as a tomato.
She admitted that she had no resistance when it came to him. Even after he had hurt her time.
1/4 and time again, she still held so many unrealistic fantasies about this man before her.
She fantasized about what it would be like if they were dating. She imagined their wedding day.
fantasies... She dreamt of traveling together with their baby. In short, there were too many Clearly, she should have given up and stopped loving him, but why was she not able to do that?
Oh, Nancy, youâre beyond help. Admit it: you love him-hopelessly and irrevocably.
At their first meeting, she thought Nicholas was the sun, brightening her world, adding gentleness to her life, and giving her such brilliant and splendid hope.
Later, he became her redemption.
This marriage freed her from Felix, from her previous life of wandering and homelessness, making her worry-free and even elevating her to the envied status of Mrs. Sallow.
However, now, he was her poison.
Despite hurting her heart and body and even causing damage deep within, she still got addicted. She couldnât quit.
âNancy...â He called out to her again, so tenderly and affectionately that Nancy couldnât resist any longer.
âBut I havenât showered yet.â
âLetâs do it together,â Nicholas said as he carried her to the bathroom.
The water in the shower rushed, with steam and mist filling the air.
Their breaths were hot, as were their hearts.
Nancy had never felt so close to him, but she was very close at that moment.
Her head rested against his chest, and she could clearly hear his strong and fast heartbeat.
She couldnât remember how they ended up back on the bed. Either way, she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
When she woke up, her body ached all over. Nicholas was lying beside her.
His features were finely chiseled, with a tall nose, deep eyes, and thick eyebrows, each aspect almost flawless.
Looking at him now, Nancy suddenly felt a sense of tranquility.
It seemed that she had grown greedy.
2/4 She began wanting more, more of his indulgence, more of his tenderness, and most of all, she wanted his unique love.
âTo hold your hand and grow old together.â This was the love she desired the most. If possible, she wished to hold his hand and accompany him to old age.
Nancyâs hand gently traced his eyebrows, and in her heart, she couldnât help ranting, Dummy, you big olâ dummy! The one I like is you. How can you not feel it? Youâre such an idiot!
As Nancy was lost in her thoughts, suddenly, Nicholas opened his eyes wide and said in at seductive voice, âSecretly admiring me?â
Nancy quickly withdrew her hand. âDonât talk nonsense. I wasnât doing it secretly. I was clearly looking openly.â
âIs that so?â he asked, his voice with a hint of teasing.
âOf course.â
Oh?â Nicholas took her hand and kissed it. Then you better think carefully before answering. Whoâs more handsome, me or the guy from the drama?â
Nancy was about to answer, but Nicholas playfully threatened, âThink it over before you answer, or else there will be consequences.â
Nancy smiled and replied, âWell, youâre both handsome in your own ways.â
As expected, someoneâs countenance immediately turned grim.
Nicholas reached his hand toward Nancy, and soon, she was pleading with a laugh, âItâs you! Youâre handsome! Youâre the most handsome in the world!â
âI canât take it anymore, Nicholas! Stop it! My belly hurts from laughing so much.â Nancyâs voice was soft as she begged, and finally, Nicholas let her go.
After breakfast, Nicholas went to work, but before leaving, he asked her a somewhat mysterious. question, âWill you be home all day today?â
âYeah, I will.â
At that moment, Nancy was still somewhat puzzled. However, an hour later, when Lynn appeared at the door, Nancy finally understood. It turned out that Nicholas had sent Lynn to find her.
âMrs. Sallow, Mr. Sallow asked me to come. He has prepared a little gift for you.â Lynn smiled. respectfully.
Nancy glanced at the various sizes of boxes behind him and asked in confusion, âAre you sure itâs little 3/4 âYes, Mr. Sallow said so. However, Mrs. Sallow, if you donât mind waiting for a moment, weâll need some time to set it up.â
What kind of gift needs to be set up? It all seemed so mysterious.
âHow long will you need?â
âAbout an hour.â
âAlright.â
Then, Nancy watched as Lynn instructed people to carry one box after another up to the second.
floor.
There were boxes of various sizes, and she counted roughly a hundred of them.
Thankfully, there were many people to help; otherwise, she wondered how long it would take to move all these boxes!
Nancy went to her study to read a book. As she was engrossed in analyzing a medical case, time passed rather quickly.
In no time, an hour had passed. Just then, the door to the study creaked open, and Nancy got up to see who it was.
âWhy are you back? Arenât you supposed to be at work?â Nancy was quite surprised to see Nicholas, who was smiling a charming smile, standing at the door. He looked like a dream.
âI came back to personally help you unwrap the gift,â Nicholas said.
