Chapter 4: King Leonis Academy

3rd person POV

King Leonis Academy; the most prestigious acdemy in Calabasas, California. The school for the A class kids, who rules the school is the kid with the highest net worth.

King Leonis Academy is a castle-like building, it has about 150 classrooms just because there are some classes special rich kids have to take and some that scholarship student do not have on their schedule.

There are different sporting activities and some leisure rooms for kids to do whatever they like but as always scholarship students are not to involve themselves in any of it.

In every school session, five scholarship slots are given to kids who passed the exam.

But scholarship student's are outcast and bullied. Why? Because they can never reach the standards of the A class kids.

The principal can not say anything about it neither can the scholarship student cause schooling in King Leonis Academy is the biggest opportunity to get.

Martina was no exception to the ill treatment received from the A class kids. She hadn't told her best friend what she goes through in the school, but when she died and the letters was sent, her best friend knew.

Alot of scholarship students cower in fear or maid around for the mean A class kids. But not all A class kids are rude, mean or bullies. Some just ignore while few watch in a distance.

The school session was starting on Monday so the principal Mrs Smith was in school making sure everything was in perfect shape. She had given the only available scholarship slots to Royalty.

Monday came around pretty quickly, Royalty was awake and ready to start her school day. She took a bath, did her skincare, wore her uniform and packed her hair in a low ponytail. She took her bag which contained some books and pencil case then went downstairs to get breakfast.

"Seems like ur ready for school" Saul said as  Royalty walked into the kitchen. "Seems? I am ready" Royalty said and grabbed an apple, some minutes later their chef gave her a plate of waffles with strawberries and whipped cream.

Royalty thanked the chef and began to eat her breakfast. "It will take 2-3 hours to get to Calabasas, are u sure u don't want a ride?" Alexander asked as he walked into the kitchen.

"Actually, I need a ride to the bus stop" Royalty said as she finished her breakfast. "So will u do it?" She asked again and went to stand beside her eldest brother. "Sure" Alexander said with a sigh and a weak smile.

"That's why your my favorite" Royalty said then squealed. She dragged Alexander out the house and the both entered his Rolls Royce sweptail.

Alexander dropped her off at a bus stop and bidded her goodbye. She then found her way to King Leonis Academy. She smiled as she saw the school's massive building. "I promise Martina" Royalty said then walked into the building and went to the principal's office.

"Royalty, don't you have a last name?" Mrs Smith asked. "I do.... it's Royalty Meyers" Royalty said. She had to lie even if she didn't want to.

"Well, there is an assembly in 15 minutes, so go grab your schedule from my assistant and meet me in the assembly hall" Mrs Smith said and Royalty nodded then left to go meet the assistant.

She got her schedule and skimmed through it, it wasn't that bad it was just common things she did at homeschool. She shrugged and went to find her locker.

She arranged all her stuff in her locker then looked around, only few students had the same tie as hers. "Hey you must be new" Royalty heard then turned around. It was a blonde haired girl who spoke to her.

"My name is Evangeline but people call me Eva" The girl who is now identified as Evangeline said. " Yeah, I'm new here"Royalty said and looked at her tie. It was not the same as hers.

"I'm the school president, so it's my job to show newbies around" Evangeline said with a smile. Evangeline looked at Royalty's tie then did a face. She was shocked that they gave another student scholarship after what happened.

"Scholarship student" Evangeline whispered then looked at Royalty in the face. "We have an assembly, so I will show u around after it ok?" Evangeline said and got a nod from Royalty.

'Anyone can be the suspect, so if your tie don't match mine your not trustworthy' Royalty thought but still followed Evangeline to the assembly hall.
