Chapter 2: Part of the plan

3rd person POV

It's been a week since Royalty returned home, she was grieving and planning.She decided to stay in palm springs with her family rather than going back to London. She was watching a movie on Netflix when she got a notification on her laptop.

She opened the email and squealed with joy, now was the time for to execute her first plan-- Persuade Her Dad. She went in search of her dad, she found him in his study.

She made herself comfortable and looked around his home office. It had been a while since she saw it. "It's been a while" She said and her dad hummed in acceptance. " I want to study in Calabasas, it's not to far from Palm springs and you know the school" Royalty said and her father dropped the file and looked at her. "That's great news" Her father said and waited for her to continue.

"I actually made a plan cause it's so unfair how Marty died and no one took action on it" Royalty said and her father nodded. "Actually an investigation went on but was shut down" Alexander said as he entered the office.

"Well I want to avenge my besties death, I owe it to her" Royalty said. "When did u become an avenger" Silas said will Saul snickered. "Wonderful.... A family meeting" Their father said sarcastically.

"Most rich kids have problems, please papa, help me help her" she begged. Her father nodded and looked at Alexander. " I'll start the process" Alexander said. " No need, I already got a scholarship to the school and it will resume the coming month" Royalty said with a smile.

"Your growing to first.....but I have a few rules for u" Her Dad said and she nodded. "Please be careful and don't over do anything, also report all information u get on this case".

"Well then, since I'm a scholarship student, no fancy cars, no bodyguard, no evidence that's leads me to being a Valencia, no contacts, I will handle everything" Royalty said and they all nodded.

"What about shopping?" Saul said sadly, "We'll do that soon" Royalty said with a smile. All her brothers left and her father kept looking at her with a worried expression.

"Papa, don't worry too much. I will always tell u when I need help. I just need to do this for Marty." Royalty said and went to hug her papa. "J'amore tu" Her father said "Love u too papa" she said and left.

Royalty went to her brother Saul's room. "Sully, talk to me about anything, I'm b.o.r.e.d. bored."she said, laughed and went to stay beside her brother.

"Do u think her plan is safe?" Alexander asked his father. "To be honest, no. She just want to get to the bottom of her friends death... I support that" Mr Valencia said.

"Scholarship student......why though?" Alexander wondered out loud. "Cause, scholarship student are treated differently, they don't get the treatment rich kids get. Don't forget the school we are talking about" Mr Valencia said, looked at his son then picked up the file he was going through.

Alexander was worried about his younger sister, she had never been to an actual school. She was always homeschooled, it's even a miracle she had a best friend and a mystery on how the friendship lasted when the two girls were in two different countries.

Mr Valencia was proud of his daughter for doing things her way but was conflicted between getting secret guards who will pose as students and letting her do it on her own.

Everything works together for good, faith is what is needed and Royalty had faith she would find the murderer and get justice for Martina.
