Chapter 12: Alone

"I can't do this anymore" Jayden said as he groaned and throw his book away. Royalty just giggled and continued her school work.

It was a Friday night and Royalty and Jayden were in Royalty's room doing their school work, Jayden had a pile of overdue physics project which he hadn't done till now.

"Next time, you won't pile projects." Royalty said as she finished her school work. She took a picture of Jayden as he was spiraled on her bed with tons of books around him.

"Now, get your lazy butt up and finish all this, I'll be back with a genius" She said and went to get snacks and Silas.

Royalty got cookies then went to Silas room.

"Hey Silas, can you help me help someone" Royalty said as she sat beside Silas on his bed.

"Who?" Silas asked and took a cookie from the plate she was holding. "Jayden, he has tons of physics project and his exhausted" she said and stood up. "Okay, let's go but just know you owe me" Silas said and stood up.

He didn't want his sister to find out he had feelings for her new best friend but he also seemed to like teasing Jayden so he didn't wear any shirt as he stood up.

"Won't you wear a shirt?" Royalty asked him, " Do you feel uncomfortable with me like this?" Silas asked and she shaked her head no.

Royalty was used to her brothers and sometimes her dad shirtless, Saul told her it was a guy thing and she got used to it.

So she entered her room with Silas behind her. "I'm back" Royalty said and got a sigh from Jayden. "Finally" Jayden said then looked up. He didn't expect Silas to be here, or be shirtless.

"Umm...uh..hi" Jayden stammered. Silas just chuckled and sat on Royalty's desk chair. "I brought the snacks and genius, like I said I would" Royalty said and placed the plate of cookies in front of Jayden.

" So I'm gonna leave the both of you since I'm through with my school work, if any of you need me I'll be with Sully" she said and left the two boys in her room.

Royalty was unaware of the feelings of Silas and Jayden.

"So, let's begin" Silas said and went to sit on Royalty's bed. "You don't have to"Jayden said then began to organize the books on the bed.

"Well, I do" Silas said while also helping Jayden. After a while they began to tackle the projects. "Do you have a girlfriend?" Silas asked which caused Jayden to chuckle lightly. "No, what about you?" Jayden asked then looked at Silas who was busy doing his project.

"Not really." Silas replied and moved to his left which was away from Jayden but Jayden was to fixated on Silas shirtless upper body.

Jayden was so concentrated on Silas shirtless upper body that he didn't notice Silas looking at him.

Silas found him cute. "Take a picture, it would last longer" Silas said with a chuckle. "I'm so sorry, that was stupid of me" Jayden said and stood up from the bed.

"I like that you admire my physique" Silas said and also stood up. They were both standing and facing each other.

"I know you like me Jayden" Silas said and gently used his hands to comb through Jayden's hair.

"It's wrong, I know" Jayden said sadly and looked down. " The only wrong thing is you not accepting it" Silas said and lifted Jayden's chin so they were both staring at each other.

" Say it" Silas commanded, " I like you, Silas" Jayden admitted then covered his mouth with his hands.

"I know you do, so let's finish this project and go grab dinner with Royalty and Saul" Silas said and went back to the bed.

Jayden was shocked, Silas knew and he didn't care about social class. Jayden was so eccentric, he nodded and went to the bed to finish up the project.

"Finally" Jayden said after some minutes of brain storming and writing. They had finally finished his project and he felt like jelly.

Silas chuckled lowly and stood up from the bed to stretch. "If u keep gawking at me like that, my muscles might vanish" Silas said cause he felt Jayden's stare.

Silas turned his back to see a flustered Jayden, he chuckled then went to his room to grab a shirt.

Everything will fall in place perfectly.
