Chapter 11: His not in my league

Hierarchy: Royalty's rules

3rd person POV

"Ma'am, a boy in a truck is here to pick you up" Matthew said with disdain. "Let him in" Alexander said. He wasn't home when Jayden came over yesterday, so he confused on who the boy was.

Matthew ushered Jayden into the living room, "She'll be here in some minutes." Matthew said and left.

Alexander went to the living room to see the boy. "And you are?" Alexander asked and sat on a sofa while Hayden immediately stood up.

"I'm Jayden Bartels, Royalty's friend from school." Jayden said and looked around uncomfortably. "Sit" Alexander commanded and Jayden sat.

"Alex, you don't have to be mean all the time" Royalty said as she walked in. She pecked her brother and went to hug Jayden.

"Let's get going, we'll grab breakfast on the way." Royalty said all hollered Jayden up.

Jayden had hoped to see Silas before leaving but it was only a wish and not all wishes comes true.

"What about our goodbye hugs" Saul said as he walked with a half asleep Silas. Silas wasn't a very good morning person, so his head was facing the floor.

Royalty hugged Saul first then giggled at Silas before she hugged him, Silas didn't look up. He was to tired to say a word or look up.

"Jayden, nice of you to drop by" Saul said to get Silas attention, which apparently worked cause Silas looked up immediately. Jayden smiled slightly which caused Silas to smirk.

"We have to go now" Royalty said and began to drag Jayden out the house. Jayden began the drive to Calabasas when they both settled into the car.

"We can hangout on Saturday... maybe my brothers and your little sister can tag along"  Royalty said as she checked her bag. Jayden was a little flabbergasted cause Silas will be there.

"We can go to the movies or amusement park, it would be fun" Royalty said and looked up as she zipped her bag.

Jayden was in his own mind, he had never fallen in love with a guy this quick. Silas did things to him and he never thought about his social class.

"Jayden" Royalty yelled which got Jayden's attention. "I like him but he isn't in my league, I don't know what to do." Jayden said out loud.

"Who?" Royalty asked, Jayden couldn't tell her now. Jayden shaked his head no and parked his truck. He got down and Royalty followed suit.

"Jayden please, you have to tell me" Royalty said and went to catch up to him but Sebastian pulled her back.

"Never do that" Royalty said and moved back. "I just wanted to say hi, we are friends aren't we?" Sebastian asked and Royalty gave him a look.

"Friends?" Royalty asked herself. 'Martina was friends with him and she got killed, so I think I have to do this"

"We can be friends" Royalty said. "Seems like your not avoiding your little friend" Sebastian said and looked at where Jayden was. "Mind your business and we aren't in the same league so why do you want to be my friend?" Royalty asked.

"I don't mind social status, like I said you remind me of a friend and I'm not stuck up" he said and the bell rang.

"I have to go" Royalty said and ran to her class. Sebastian smirked and also walked to his class.

Royalty was just worried, she had found her way into the Elite group but she needed to be a good friend and find out who Jayden has a crush on.

So at lunch she went to the cafeteria but Jayden wasn't there so she went to his favorite spot.

Jayden was just staring into space, he hadn't noticed anyone come sit beside.

"He is not my league or social class, his to perfect" Jayden said and sighed sadly. "How is 'he' ?" Royalty asked as she sipped her mango smoothie.

Jayden turned and looked at her, he wasn't sure if Royalty could know about his feelings yet so he began to eat her fries.

"Lovehas nothing to do with social class, if you really love someone there should be no -" Royalty began to say but was cut off by Jayden's scoff. "What?" Royalty asked him.

"Don't jump into sudden conclusion, yes I have feelings but it's not love" Jayden said and snatched Royalty's smoothie, he took a sip then did a face and gave her back the smoothie.

"Will you tell me who he is?" Royalty asked but got a simple no from Jayden. "Sebastian Cortez, his your friend now?" Jayden asked her.

"His a nice person and he knew Martina like you said, he hasn't really done anything wrong and I barely hangout with him" Royalty said.

She and Jayden had personal issues but still found ways to talk around it.
