Chapter 10: Crush

3rd person POV

Jayden had begun to drive, but waited for Royalty to give him directions. "Palm springs" Royalty said and Jayden looked at her. He knew palm springs but the distance between the two was 3 hours.

He nodded and began his drive. "I..um..no" Royalty began but Shaked her head no. She didn't know how to tell Jayden. "I live in London actually but my family stays here, I only came back cause......" She started but stopped.

She only came back cause no one called her for a week, then she found out about Martina's death.

"London?" Jayden asked. "Yes, my family can afford the tuition and more but I decided to go undercover as a scholarship student to find out what happened to Martina" she said then looked at Jayden.

He nodded for her to go on, "My name isn't Royalty Meyers, it's Royalty Valencia" she said and Jayden hit the brakes hard which caused Royalty to jerk forward.

"What the fudge" Jayden said and looked at her. He had a Valencia in his car, the people that rule the economic world.

"Royalty I hope your not joking around?" He asked, she Shaked her head no and looked at him with a little smile.

"It doesn't mean you have to change around me, and that's the reason I didn't want you to take me home." She said.

"I get it now, thanks for trusting me with that information." He said and continued the drive to Valencia manor.

Everyone knew where they lived but no one dared to trespass on their property.

"Just know my brothers will be home" Royalty said nonchalantly. "All of them?" He asked and she shrugged.

They soon got to her house, the guards opened the gates and Jayden parked in the parking space for guest.

They went into her house but she didn't yell like how Jayden did if he got back home. She just went to the kitchen with Jayden behind her and offered him a glass of orange juice.

Then they went to the living room together, Saul and Silas walked in together. They both hugged her then looked at the boy who awkwardly stood behind her.

"Saul, Silas, this is my friend Jayden, Jayden my brothers Saul and Silas." Royalty introduced them.

"It's nice to meet you, so I'm guessing she told you about her status right?" Saul asked and got a nod from Jayden.

"I know it's a school night but stay for lunch then you can go, hope that's not a problem" Saul asked. "Not at all " Jayden responded.

Silas sat on the couch with Jayden at his right. Silas couldn't lie to himself, Jayden was hot and his gay instinct knew that.

"I will be back " Royalty said and went to her room to change while Saul went to the kitchen. So Silas and Jayden were alone.

"Your cute" Silas said and looked at Jayden, Jayden blushed and thanked him for the compliment.

He couldn't believe that two Valencia had complimented him, he never thought that was possible.

"Tell me about yourself" Silas said while looking at the television in the living room, so Jayden was confused if he spoke to him.

Silas looked at him while waiting for him to begin.

"Umm sorry, I'm Jayden Bartels, I live in Calabasas but not the rich part of it, I'm an average person really and I have a younger sister." Jayden said and got a nod from Silas.

"I'm 18, in some of the same classes with Royal, she's fun to be around." He said and chuckled. Silas just smiled as he spoke.

Silas barely smiles so Jayden thought he did something stupid and began to apologize.

"Hey, it's ok" Silas said and brushed Jayden's hair out of his face. "Lunch time" Saul yelled, Silas directed Jayden to the kitchen while Royalty came back down.

"Your red" Royalty said to Jayden then looked at Silas, she had left Jayden with Silas so why was Jayden as red as tomatoes.

"Silas what did you do?" Royalty asked but Silas just shrugged. "I'm ok, it's nothing really" Jayden said and looked at Silas for a brief moment.

"Aww, Jayden has a little crush" Saul said which made Jayden redden more, Silas to chuckle and Royalty gasp loudly.

"You have a crush, you have to tell me who that person is" Royalty said as she received her food. "Same here" Silas agreed with Royalty while Saul Shaked his head.

"I have to go" Jayden said, his cheeks were already rosey and he felt embarrassed at himself.

How can he feel this way towards someone who might not like him.

"What about your food?" Saul asked, "Can I have it to go please, my little sister might be home now" Jayden tired to reason.

So a maid packed his lunch and gave it to him. He then drove back home, " I can't like someone like him, he is way above my league" Jayden said to himself.

But Silas thought otherwise, he will make sure Jayden falls in love with him. "Bring your friends over more often." Silas said and got a nod from Royalty.

After lunch Royalty went up to her room while the twins stayed together in the game room.

"You like Jayden" Saul said and got a nod from Silas. "That's so cool, I love his hair and his a good person, Royalty talks about him a lot" Saul said and Silas gave him a look.

"I won't tell anyone, I promise it's your information not mine" Saul said and they began to play Mario kart.
