It has been 2 weeks since the fall semester has started, and we just finished unpacking.
Our apartment looks great except for we need to go grocery shopping. The trip from 2 weeks ago did not last our big backs.
I'm sitting on the couch next to Cameron watching TikToks when all of the sudden her face lights up.
"Oh my god. Oh my god." She squeals.
"Roni what happened?" She basically flies off the couch jumping around.
"Hello??" She stops jumping and faces me. "Remember when I applied for the spot as a PT assistant for the basketball team?"
"I think so, yeah- wait that one thing you didn't think you would get?" She nods her head with a smile so big her face might get stuck that way.
I immediately get off the couch jumping around with her in celebration.
"We have to go celebrate. Ice cream?" I catch my breath.
"Oh you read my mind." Cameron responded.
We rush to the car jamming out the whole way. Ever since Cam read that email she hasn't stopped smiling. Who knew being a physical therapist assistant for the women's basketball team would be so exciting.
After long hours of giggling we both turn to bed. As I fall asleep a smile rests on my face thinking of how good this year will be for my Cameron.
