I'm woken up to the sound of a blender. Cameron is back at it again. Her protein smoothies.

As much as I love her trying to take care of her body, I'm tired of having to choke them down.

Getting out of bed took me longer than usual- probably to avoid the smoothie- but when I do get up I'm greeted by Cameron in my doorway.

"I made smoothies!!" She has a giddy look on her face as she places one on my nightstand.

"Yummy!" I lie.

I need to tell her I don't like these things soon.

"So we are meeting up at the arcade with everyone later today." She starts to talk.

"Do you know what you are going to wear?"I ask so that I can get help picking out my outfit.

"I think just some low waisted jeans with a baby tee. Something simple."

"Okay, okay. I'm going to take a shower now."

I finish walking into my bathroom.

After my long shower I am met with Cameron, once again in the kitchen cooking up some other recipe she has up her sleeve.

"What you making now?"

"Protein pancakes!"

Great.

"Cam. Protein and pancakes shouldn't be in the same sentence."

"Trust they will be good."

"Whatever you say." I walk back to my room to get dressed.

I put on some overalls with a baby tee and decorate myself in various rings, a necklace, and earrings. Makeup can wait.

When I walk back to the kitchen there is a plate of pancakes waiting for me.

I'm hesitant to take a bite, but when I do it's surprisingly not terrible.

"Hey this isn't bad!"

"Oh so is all my other stuff bad?"

"I- No I mean like-" there is no saving me now.

"Like protein food is usually gross but this isn't, you know?"

"Whatever you say."

I shut up going back to my pancakes.

"Eve cmon! We are going to be late!" Cam yells at me while I'm in the bathroom. She always has to be on time, while I couldn't care less.

"I'm coming!!"

I rush to the car after her jumping in the passenger seat.

"Can I get aux?" I ask

"Fine."

I put on some random Lauryn Hill song, finishing putting on lip gloss.

We pull up outside this bright arcade. I love arcades, especially ones with old games.

"Do you want to go in side and wait for everyone else."

"Sure"

After a couple minutes of standing around the door opens having a group of tall women follow.

Nika walks up first, hugging both me and Cameron. We then go around hugging everyone and when I get to Paige it felt awkward  even though our hug lingered.

"So I guess everyone just get your coins to play and we meet up to discuss our game plan."

I never met back with the group I went straight to Pac-man. I go crazy when it comes to playing this game, I could stay at it for hours.

A couple minutes later I hear a voice behind me.

"Pac-man huh?" It's Paige.

"You know it."

Nothing else is said but I can feel her watching me.

"You should play Mrs pac-man" I tilt my head pointing to the machine next to me.

"Okay bet."

We play at these games for a bit until I get frustrated and need a break from it.

"What do you want to do now?" Paige asks

I point to some random 2 player games and we go to it.

After awhile I realize there is a whole pile of tickets at my feet.

I stand up so I can take a picture while Paige just sits there looking at the machine spill out tickets.

"Where are we supposed to put these?" She asks.

"We can stuff your pockets."

She gives me a look.

"Im just kidding I will go ask for a bag."

I walk away to grab a bag and when I come back tickets are still spilling out the machine.

"Well shit, what did we do to get all these tickets?" I start scooping them into the bag.

When the tickets are done coming out I hold up the bag showing Paige how much we got.

"Wow." She says standing up.

When she stands up I now have to look up at her. Before I can move to the next game she grabs the bag offering to carry it.

"We should do basketball."

"Why would you want to do that? I'm just going to beat you." She says.

"Hey, you never know. Now cmon."

We get up to the two basketball hoops putting in our coins. The balls come out of the machine and Paige immediately starts shooting making every shot.

For most of the game we are tied. I honestly think she is doing this on purpose, but before I can finish that thought her points start to go up.

The game ends and she is up 20 points.

"I told you." She says rubbing her hands together looking at me.

"You only beat me by 20 points."

Before Paige can speak again I spot a Photo Booth.

I grab her dragging her into it.

She pics the theme and when we start to pose I can't stop laughing at how panicked she gets when she doesn't know what to do next.

For the last picture I pull her into a hug and she immediately wraps her arms around my waist. It shocks me but I keep my cool.

When we walk out of the Photo Booth Cameron is in front of me.

"Photo Booth without me?"

Paige walks out behind me grabbing the photos.

"Oh? Anyways the whole team wants to play laser tag you two wanna join?" She continues

"Sure"

We all walk over to the rest of the group who are gearing up.

I'm on blue team with Cameron and 2 others while Paige is on red team with the rest of the group.

Before we go inside I go up to Paige.

"Whoever gets less points has to post something embarrassing on their story."

She smirks not saying a word as we separate.

Over the game we both targeted each other taking turns shooting  and 'killing the other person.'

When the game ended I was nervous to see the score board, but by the look on Paige's face I could tell I won.

"So what are you going to post?"

I can tell she is trying to ignore me but laughs

"You will see."

After another hour of playing games me and Paige share our tickets getting a bunch of random candy.

"Do you and Cameron want to come back to our place?" Paige asks.

"Sure. Then we can eat all this candy."

She laughs and we head to our separate cars.

"So what's up with you and Paige?"

"Won't even let me get into the car before asking questions? And nothing is going on between us. Am I not allowed to have friends outside of you?"

"No that's not what I'm saying."

"Then what are you saying."

"Okay never mind." She starts driving towards campus.

When we get to Paige's dorm the door opens for us immediately.

"Welcome." Aubrey says letting us in.

Cameron continues to talk to Aubrey while I sit down on a couch.

I notice that Cameron's hair is bugging her, and I offer to braid it.

She sits down in front of me going on her phone.

While I'm working on her second braid Paige walks in.

"Hey, where have you been?"

She doesn't say anything for a moment, and I'm not sure why since I was focused on the braid in front of me.

"I was in the shower."

"Wanna finish the candy from earlier?" I ask holding up the bag.

Without saying a word she sits next to me.

"Okay done." I put my hands on Cameron's shoulders.

"Thanks babe." She responds getting up.

I lean back focusing on the girl who is sitting next to me.

"So you can braid hair?" She asks as I grab a random sour candy.

"Mhm."

"Well maybe you could braid by hair sometime. For like games, but you don't have to."

"Oh yeah, for sure I'd love to."
