Chapter 342
The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon
Delbert noticed Harrietâs gaze and meaningfully smiled.
âWhy are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?â
he said.
âWhy did you laugh so happily after checking out the message? Is something going on?â Harriet asked.
Delbert revealed everything. âWell, Blake just sent me a message, telling me about your affair.â
âMe having an affair? How is that possible?â Harriet rolled her eyes.
Asmile filled Delbertâs eyes. âAnd the person you had an affair with is me.
âSo, Blake not only didnât recognize you but also mistook you for a kept man?â Harriet laughed, realizing the situation. âI suddenly want to see the shocked expression on his face when he finds out your true identity.â
âLet's take our time!â Delbert rubbed her hair and gently smiled.
After a pause, he suddenly remembered something and parked th car on the side of the road.
âWell, | have to deal with something at the Carlson Group tomorrow, so | canât accompany you. Let Cory go with you tomorrow,â
he said.
âIs it something big?â Harriet asked, worried that what happened in Imperium would recur.
Seeing her worried expression, Delbert playfully spoke. âLean over. I'll tell you.â
Harriet leaned over and stopped an inch away from his face.
Delbert suddenly took off his glasses and leaned over to kiss her.
Their lips pressed against each other as he took her breath away.
Harriet felt weak, about to collapse.
Delbert wrapped his arm around her waist and clasped the back of her head to deepen the kiss.
No words could describe the intensity of the kiss.
It wasnât until a few minutes later that Delbert reluctantly let go of her.
Panting, Harriet looked at him with an accusing look.
âMilton arranged for Tara to come to my company tomorrow, and Monica was discharged from the hospital today. | have to go visit her, âDelbert explained.
The two women mentioned by him were both disliked by Harriet.
