Chapter 337
The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon
Delbertâs hair was neat, and he looked like a kind neighbor.
This version of him was completely different from the decisive and efficient CEO in the business world before.
Harriet couldnât understand why he needed to dress up like this just for a visit to the Munoz Group.
Delbert smiled and took her arm, pulling her into his embrace.
âFrom now on, Iâm not Delbert anymore. Iâm your assistant, Darryl. I'll help you establish authority in front of those people,â he said, his breath assailing her ear.
She knew that, with his possessive nature, he wouldnât easily let her go to the Munoz Group.
But she didnât expect that his solution would be to dress up as her assistant and go with her.
Only someone like Delbert could come up with such an idea.
âAren't you afraid of being recognized by those foxy people?â she said, trying to distract Delbert from getting too intimate with her.
Delbert stroked her head, firmly saying, âThey won't.â
He was always prepared before acting.
Harriet trusted him unconditionally.
âAlright, let's go!â Harriet nodded.
As long as Delbert was by her side, she felt like she could overcome any obstacles.
Only Delbert could give her such a sense of security.
Ten minutes later, they finished preparing and left home.
Cory had been waiting outside for a while.
Half an hour later, the black Rolls-Royce slowly stopped in front of the Munoz Mansion.
Harriet had already contacted Blake and confirmed the meeting time.
As they sat together in the back seat, Delbert turned to look at Harriet, who was still focused on reading the documents.
He reassured her. âYou can express your opinions. Leave the rest to me.â
Delbert planned to dress up as Harrietâs assistant and help her establish authority in the company.
With his current appearance, those people couldnât possibly recognize him.
After hearing Delbertâs rather childish plan, Harriet looked up and gratefully smiled. âThank you, sweetheart!â
Cory opened the car door for them. Delbert got out first, followe closely by Harriet, who held onto the documents.
âChairman!â An anxious voice suddenly rang out from behind Ha She turned around and saw a secretary trotting over.
âChairman, the meeting has already started. Everyone is present in the conference room except for you. Please come with me,â
said the secretary.
Harriet frowned, as the starting time of the meeting was different from what Blake had just told her on the phone.
