FORTY-SEVEN

THEY ARRIVED AT the destination not long after Yoongi got the call. It's a rather wealthy neighborhood, there're many beautiful big houses, it's similar to their neighborhood.

They took a halt in front of one of the many big houses, it's the address where the Officer lives.

Jimin is slightly nervous but somehow maybe even a little excited. It's nice to meet someone who shares the same powers, who's just like you. Who can teach him how to control and use his powers.

A young man, probably just a few years older than them opens the door, a big smile on his lips as he welcomes them.

„Come in, come in." He says hectically, while letting them in.

„Thank you for meeting up with us." Yoongi responds more serious, making Jimin secretly grin. He can be so stiff sometimes, it made Jimin laugh inside.

„Of course!" The man responds while patting their backs and leading them to the living room first. He then turns around, facing Jimin and holding out his hand.

„I'm Woo Jiho. But you can call me Hyung if you want." The elder introduces himself, a goofy smile on his lips which caused Jimin to return the smile instant. What an extrovert.

„I'm Jimin." The younger responds while shaking Jiho's hand.

Suddenly a woman joins them in the living room, greeting them with a soft bow.

„That's my wife, Hyejin." Jiho says, while the others greet her as well.

„It's nice to have you here." She says with a soft smile, „Please if you need anything just call me."

„It's okay, babe. You should rest." Jiho responds, making both Jimin and Yoongi look her up and down. Just then they notice the small bump on her tummy, signaling them that she's pregnant.

„We're good thank you." Yoongi says.

„Okay let's get upstairs to my office." Jiho says clapping in his hands before they head upstairs and take a halt in front of one of the many doors.

It's a big office with a table in front of a big window, a few shelves on one side and a comfortable sofa on the other side. It's big enough to fit a few people on, but Jiho took a chair as he offered Jimin and Yoongi to sit on the sofa. He also placed two cups and some drinks on the table.

„So Jimin, when did you first have a vision?" The elder asks to somehow start the conversation.

„Actually I had my first vision when I was about 9 years old. 4 years after getting my iron manipulation." Jimin responds taking a sip of his cup.

„Oh so you're a poly-user?" Jiho asks making Jimin slowly nod.

„If that's what it's called, yes. I have two powers."

„That's awesome." Jiho bluntly responds causing Jimin to chuckle at his reaction. He already likes the elder.

„Okay basically learning how to control the future vision is almost impossible." Jiho adds, „It's one of the hardest powers to control, because you never know when or where you'll get a vision. But- it is possible to focus your vision."

„Focus?" Yoongi asks, leaning slightly forward. He just remembered his training with Jimin and how the younger first had to learn how to be focused at all. It made him smile from the inside as he realized how far Jimin had already come.

„Yes- we can focus our visions on one or a few individuals. It's hard but it's possible. And actually the only way to somehow have control over them." The eldest explains further, both of them listening curiously.

„When I first got my visions they were all over the place. I got them when I was 7. I had no clue what's happening- I panicked. No one knew till I was 16. I hid it and everyone thought I just have circulatory problems and that's why I would faint sometimes."

„It must have been hard to keep it to yourself." Jimin says, making Jiho nod slowly in agreement.

„My visions were mostly about the people close to me. My family, my friends. Sometimes about my classmates or my colleagues at my summer jobs. It was all over the place, I had no focus, no clue at all. It happened randomly." The Officer continues, „I had times when I had so many visions, almost daily and it would make me go insane. And suddenly I had none. For weeks, sometimes even for months."

He made a short pause to wet his throat with his drink, „After graduation I did my police training and became an Officer at the age of 21. I joined the Swat not long after and never told anyone about my powers. Not until I met my mentor, he was the Sergeant of the Unit I got into. He was the first one at the department whom I told about my powers."

„We heard about his passing away." Yoongi says and Jiho nods.

„Sadly our oldie died." The eldest adds with a soft chuckle, „He was like a father to all of us.. however he trained people with supernatural powers and so he trained me too."

He continues explaining, „For us supernaturals, the first rule and step is to learn how to focus. Without focus we aren't able to use our powers properly. Like I said, for the future vision, in order to somehow have slightly control over it, we have to focus it on someone. When I came to that knowledge it was easier to feel like the one in control."

„The power should never control you, you should be the one controlling it." Jimin says quietly.

„Exactly! So for the future vision you have to tunnel it. You have to project it on one person or else you will get too many visions or none at all." Jiho adds, „What kind of visions did you have in the past?"

„Mostly about my parents, sometimes random stuff. But I was isolated my whole life, I barely knew anyone else. It was until they died- I saw the vision about it."

„My deepest condolences." Jiho says, earning a short ‚thank you' from Jimin.

„How was it after their death?"

„I- I barely had any visions. Maybe 2 or 3. The biggest one was when I first join the Swat. It was about a member of a Subunit." Jimin responds, thinking back on his visions but there were barely  any he even remembers since his parent's death.

Besides the one about Felix and Yoongi.

„Mostly our powers form patterns on their own. If you spent your life with your parents the powers will try to focus itself on these individuals. You started working for the Swat, that made the focus switch on to this part of your life. But you have to control it yourself by focusing on one or a few individuals." The Officer explains further.

It made Jimin think. But there's no pattern. It makes no sense. He only got two visions ever since he joined them months ago. His last one didn't even occur.

Jiho noticed Jimin's frown, „What's wrong?"

„I- just-" Jimin starts, but doesn't know how to ask this. Should he mention his last vision? It is important to talk about it, but what's stopping him?

„What is it Jimin?" Yoongi asks, giving him a soft but concerned look. The younger averts his gaze to Yoongi, just looking at him gave him some kind of comfort. It made him feel safe and strong.

„Actually I had a vision- it was about him getting hurt." Jimin says as he looks from Yoongi to Jiho again, „It's been a few months already."

„And it didn't happen yet?"

„No- it didn't." Jimin answers unsure.

„You know that every vision will occur. No matter when or how. We are able to change it, that's the purpose of your powers." Jiho responds, leaning forward with a more serious expression than before, „So if it hasn't happened yet- be sure that it will."

The younger gulps, before looking to his right where his partner is sitting. Yoongi just gives him a nod and comforting smile, as he noticed how worried the younger looks right now.

„Did you have any other visions since then?"

„No that's the point. The last one was about him. Ever since then I didn't have one. I tried not to think about it, but it's making me feel sick." Jimin confesses and Jiho nods. He takes some time before responding, it's as if he's thinking hard and trying to come to a conclusion.

„It might be that- Yoongi is your focus." The eldest then says, making both Yoongi and Jimin look at him with a frown.

„Are you sure?" Yoongi asks and Jiho slowly nods while biting the inside of his cheeks, still trying to figure it out.

„It could be that your mind felt already connected and focused on Yoongi, that it unconsciously put the focus of your powers on him." Jiho adds looking at Jimin with a serious expression.

„So he's my focus?" Jimin asks to make it clear, again. He had a hard time believing it but it would made sense. He liked Yoongi for a while now. Now more than ever.

„I think so. It makes sense. You had no other vision since then and it seems like your mind is trying to make you focus your powers on him."

It's crazy to realize how complex his powers actually are. He never imagined it to be so complicated.

„We could use that and make you focus on him properly. That would be a perfect focus since you two are a Duo at work." The Officer then says, making Jimin nod slowly as he tries to process the new information, „It would be beneficial for the two of you. We could work on that the next days."

Yes, days. Because Jimin and Yoongi would stay there for the rest of the week. Jimin has to take his time to learn how to control it, even though the situation a vision occurs, can't be controlled itself. He can only control about whom his visions will be. And it being Yoongi sounds right, if not even terrifying. From now on, he will only have visions about his partner and they won't always be pleasant.

„I think- that's good." Jimin responds because Jiho last sentence sounded more like a question.

„Good." The eldest says clapping his hands. The room felt heavy especially for Jimin, the vision of Yoongi kept appearing in his mind, making him tense and feel uneasy.

Yoongi seemed to notice it, „Hey, are you alright?"

Jiho shortly left the room as he got a call, so Yoongi took the chance to talk to his partner.

„Yeah- it's fine." Jimin lied and couldn't look Yoongi in the eyes.

„You're a bad liar." Yoongi stated and made Jimin snort and smile for a second before going back to a rather worried and serious expression.

„What is it, love?" Yoongi asks, making Jimin feel himself blush at it. He loves when Yoongi gives him pet names.

„It's just.. It scares me. The vision and my focus being on you." Jimin responds, finally looking at his lover. It was enough to make Jimin feel slightly better. One look is enough.

„You could try another focus. It's not settled yet, your training didn't start. We can use another-"

„It's fine." Jimin interrupts him, „I want it to be you. But it just scares me. Because I don't want anything to happen to you."

Yoongi nods before grabbing Jimin's hand to intertwine their fingers. It gave Jimin comfort immediately.

„Don't worry about me, Jimin. We're a team, a Duo. Together we're stronger than anyone and anything. With you by my side I know nothing will happen to me." Yoongi says, squeezing Jimin's hand slightly. They look into each other's eyes deeply, Jimin's admiration and love for Yoongi growing stronger with every second they stare at each other.

Jiho entered the room, making both slightly flinch and even if Jimin thought they shouldn't hold hands, Yoongi didn't seem to mind. He didn't remove his hand from Jimin.

„I'm sorry, I had to get that one." Jiho apologies with a smile, but Yoongi shook his head.

„Actually I think we're good for today." Yoongi says suddenly.

It was Jimin who frowned, Jiho however looked understanding.

„I get it. You two must be tired from the ride." The eldest says, „We have enough time tomorrow and the day after tomorrow."

Jimin wanted to argue, but he did feel tired and somehow overwhelmed by the new information. That's why he decided to not bring it up.

„Thank you for today, Jiho-ssi." Yoongi says as they stand up from the sofa.

„It was really helpful, thank you a lot." Jimin adds with a soft smile, earning one back.

„Of course! Don't thank me for that."

Going downstairs they said goodbye to Jiho and his wife before leaving the house. They would be back tomorrow morning. For today it was enough for both of them.

Arriving at Yoongi's apartment, Jimin wanted nothing else than just going to bed. It wasn't even late.

„How about we take a long hot bath?" Yoongi asks as they enter the apartment and take off their jackets. It's getting colder these days, November already started and with that the cold winter days as well.

„That sounds good actually."

The bathtub is big enough to fit both of them, so after Yoongi filled it with warm water and added a sweet smelling shampoo, they undressed to get in.

Jimin is lying between Yoongi's legs, his back resting against the older male's strong chest while Yoongi has his arms around Jimin. It's a very comforting and relaxed position.

They dimmed the lights and lit a few candles to create a more comfortable atmosphere. Jimin feels his body relax for the first time since they went to Jiho. His mind is occupied with many thoughts, making him frown till now.

But lying in Yoongi's is the most wonderful feeling. It soothes him and makes him relax.

„This feels good." Jimin softly says, leaning his head back on Yoongi's chest, causing the elder to him in result. He then placed a kiss on Jimin's head, hugging him slightly tighter now.

„I think so too." Yoongi responds placing another kiss, right behind Jimin's ear on his tattoo. It made a shiver run down his spine. It feels great.

„I enjoy this too much." Jimin admits, and even if he can't see Yoongi, he knows that the elder is smiling.

„That's good, you should get used to this." Yoongi adds. Jimin hums and smiles as more sweet kisses are placed on his neck. Hell, he loves it so much.

Yoongi sighs, satisfied.

„What?" Jimin asks as he's curious about the loud sigh.

„Nothing. I'm just happy." Yoongi responds kissing his cheek since Jimin slightly turned around to have a short look at him.

„Why?"

„Because I'm with you. Because I adore you." Yoongi responds, causing butterflies to fly around Jimin's stomach, „I adore you so much, Jimin."

A big smile forms on Jimin's lips, „I adore you too, Hyung."

„You're so strong and brave, you make my world brighter." Yoongi says showering his neck in kisses. Each of them making Jimin's heart race faster and his cheeks red, he isn't used to get so much affection from someone.

„You are capable of so much. Don't you ever forget that." Yoongi adds his voice now slightly more serious. Jimin knows immediately what he's referring to.

„You're so talented and powerful. You can do anything."

Jimin smiled briefly, feeling how his vision slowly gets blurry. The knot in his throat is making it hard for him to respond to that. Yoongi's words are comforting and so sincere that it made Jimin's heart ache. It ached out of love for Yoongi. He had never imagined that he would ever feel so much for someone. But now he does.

„And I'm by your side. With every step you take, I'm here with you." Yoongi adds, placing another kiss on Jimin's head, not being able to see the tear that fell down Jimin's cheek.

„I know." Jimin manages to say, while Yoongi hugs him closer.

And somehow he knew, that Yoongi noticed his tears.

Yoongi held him closer that night.

It's been a while I KNOW & I'm so so sorry for making you wait but it's so hard to write something recently! I'm sorry pls be understanding :')

Anyways it's a long chapter with lots of information about Jimin's power! We barley saw it and mentioned it but now it's important.

And who would be the best mentor? Ofc Zico! :')

He's a great artist if you don't know him you're definitely missing something!!

Important: not sure when I will be able to update again! I'm so sorry for that but I can't help it- I'm working full time (40h)! I will try my best & I will end this story don't worry about that!
