TWENTY-ONE

TO SAY THAT there was a strange tension between him and Yoongi would be an underestimation. Jimin has never felt this strange being around someone.

Both of them have lost their mind in that locker room, attacking each other with their hungry lips, as if they've never craved for anything else then for this to finally happen. Jimin can't explain what has gotten into him, responding to that kiss with so much eagerness and lust, it even shocked himself now that he's thinking about it.

Was he really that needy? Or was he secretly craving for Yoongi's touch? There was a strange tension between them always, the intense stares, the closeness, the cheeky talks and maybe even the light flirting. Was it flirting? Jimin never noticed any signs, but hell the moment Yoongi's lips touched his own, he lost himself in the softness, the lust and the fire that was set inside of him.

The same second he knew he wanted more, he somehow wanted this to happen deep down because he would've never responded to that kiss, if he hadn't secretly wished for it to happen at some point.

Now that it happened, he doesn't know how to feel about it. They kissed and now it won't be like before. Things will change between them because even if they act like it never happened, it did happen and no one can change anything about that fact.

Jimin groans, hiding his face in his pillow. He's been lying on his bed for at least 30 minutes.

After what happened in the locker room, they decided to go home but Yoongi checked on Jungkook first before leaving.

Right, Jungkook.

Jimin groans even louder. What a day. He really hopes it's just a bad dream.

But sadly it isn't.

It's reality; he punched Jungkook several times - kind of proud of it - and he and Yoongi made out. It wasn't just a short kiss, hell they made out, they were about to go even further, but gladly someone interrupted them. Jimin doesn't even want to imagine, what would have happened, if no one came in.

Even though he's glad they didn't do anything else, somehow he feels frustrated. This may have been the last time, he got the chance to touch Yoongi like this, to feel him, his lips. Fuck, what is he even thinking? This is wrong, but at the same time it felt too good for it to never happen again.

His whole body tickles when he thinks about their kiss, about Yoongi's tongue playing with his, about his cold hands on Jimin's hot body, about the dominance when Yoongi pressed him against the lockers, about his black eyes, piercing him like they always do.

Jimin can't help but sigh loudly, throwing his head back on his pillow, as he closes his eyes. It's turning him on, even if it shouldn't, but Jimin feels the urge to touch himself just by thinking about their moment. Yes, their moment, because both of them enjoyed it way too much. Way more than they should.

And somehow Jimin hopes. He hopes for it to happen again.

That day, at dinner, everyone seemed to feel the tension. The one between Jimin and Jungkook, because no one knows about the even stronger tension between Jimin and his partner.

Now sitting right in front of Yoongi isn't really helping. Jimin can't focus on his food, when all he wants to do is to hide in his room and never look at Yoongi again. Because hell - he feels ashamed. Does Yoongi feel the same? What's going on in his mind?

Jimin slowly looks up from his plate right into Yoongi's face, his black eyes already piercing him.

Jimin's Heart skips a beat the second their gazes lock, why is he already looking at Jimin?

And fuck, why is he so hot?

Jimin presses his lips together, while Yoongi raises a brow, as if he's wondering what's going on in Jimin's mind as well.

Suddenly the look on Yoongi's face changes, his eyes turn even darker while he looks up and down on Jimin. It makes the younger nervous, damnit he hates being nervous but how couldn't he, when Yoongi looks at him like this?

„Soo guys.." Namjoon interrupts the silence making everyone look at him, „I had a really nice idea and now I'm wondering if you like it or not- but how about we go on a trip next weekend?"

The others look at each other shortly before shrugging or nodding in response, waiting for Namjoon to explain further.

„Maybe we could spend it on some resort or go camping, rent small bungalows like we used to do in the past. We could take some days off now that our Subunit is back." The commander explains, „We haven't done it for a long time. And now that we have Jimin we should spend some time off together."

„Sounds good to me." Hoseok responds with a smile, patting Namjoon's back.

„I could really need some days off." Taehyung adds making Jungkook hum in agreement.

„It's a good idea." Jin says while nodding at Namjoon.

„I think so too." Yoongi adds before averting his gaze from Namjoon back to Jimin again.

„Yeah, sounds good." Jimin says in response.

„Maybe we could solve some of our problems there." Namjoon adds looking at both Jimin and Jungkook, referring to the wounded face of the youngest member.

„Maybe." Jimin mumbles, his eyes shortly looking at Jungkook who has bruises on his cheek, a swollen eye and a big cut on his lower lip. Jimin on the other hand has no wounds on his face, everything being perfectly healed.

Actually Jimin thought he would get scolded again for punching Jungkook, but no one said anything about it. No one asked. Jimin isn't sure but he thinks a certain someone has already talked to their leader about it.

„Okay nice guys, I will organize everything and tell you the rest of the information later on." Namjoon adds, ending the topic as they continue eating together and just chatting about random things.

After finishing everyone brought their dishes to the kitchen. It's Jimin's turn to wash the dishes today, actually just to put them in the dishwasher and clean the kitchen. Taehyung offered to help him but Jimin didn't need help, he wanted to be alone actually.

His mind is really occupied with many thoughts, thoughts about him and his partner and even thoughts about what happened with Jungkook. He really hopes that the younger will finally accept and respect him after that. He also hopes that this was the right way to show him that he shouldn't mess with the wrong guy.

His thoughts are being interrupted by someone walking up to the kitchen. When Jimin looked to his right, he spots Yoongi, approaching the fridge to grab himself a bottle of water.

The younger male isn't sure if he should say something or not, in his mind a battle between saying something or remaining quiet.

The elder however doesn't seem to mind that Jimin's there, he just grabs his bottle and is about to walk away, but the black haired male stops him.

„Hey- wait." Jimin says immediately making Yoongi stop in his movement and turn around slightly.

„Uhm-" The younger starts, grabbing a towel to dry his hands before approaching Yoongi, „Did you maybe talk to Namjoon?"

„About what happened between me and Jungkook I mean?" He quickly adds so that the elder would understand what he's referring to.

„Yeah I did." Yoongi responds simply.

Jimin gulps, fuck what should he say? Should he ask him more or just leave it? Why is he being so awkward right now?

Pressing his lips together he slowly nods in response, his mind going crazy trying to figure out what to do, to say or how to act in general. Kissing Yoongi was amazing, it felt so good, but the last thing Jimin wants right now is that things get weird or awkward between them. Because they finally get along well, their training is good, they work good together. Jimin wants to keep it that way, but the kiss, their making out, it was too intense to just forget it.

The younger really hopes it didn't destroy the bond they've built the last few weeks.

„Uhm- thank you, I guess?" Jimin says, suddenly feeling nervous and strange. That's not him, he never acts like that. There's barely anything that can make him nervous, but Yoongi seems to be an exception.

„And- thank you for today, for helping me with the hyperventilating-"

„Don't." The elder interrupts him, „Don't thank me."

His voice sounds cold and distant, like it used to be in the beginning. When he rejected Jimin and refused working with him. So that's where they are now, back on the old level?

Is Yoongi being distant again? Will he treat him like that again?

Jimin feels a sudden pain in his chest, knowing that it will be like in the beginning. It makes him sad, the bond they had - it's probably gone now. It will never be the same. Yoongi for sure regrets the kiss, regrets getting weak for a short moment and giving himself to Jimin. Giving him a taste of his kiss, making Jimin crave for more now.

His hopes for having a good relationship to his partner, to be a good duo for the SWAT seems to be gone now.

The younger male just nods in response, his gaze leaving Yoongi's face as he turns around to finish his task and end the conversation with that.

„Actually-" He suddenly hears Yoongi say, making him turn around almost immediately. The look on Jimin's face is maybe a little bit hopeful, his eyebrows raised slightly.

„Do you wanna go to the basketball field with me?" The elder asks then, his question causing different feelings to spread through Jimin's chest.

„Now?" The younger asks, slightly frowning but he has to suppress the smile that's about to form on his lips.

The older male just hums in response. Biting his lower lip, Jimin nods as a yes to Yoongi's question, letting go of the towel he picked up earlier.

„I'll be waiting outside." The elder says, giving Jimin one last look before turning around to head outside.

„I will hurry up!"
