JIMIN IS STILL confused as they enter the place and head to the reception.

„Why are we here?" Jimin asks the elder quietly.

„Just be patient once." Yoongi responds without looking at the younger male who just sighs in response.

„Oh Sergeant Min, nice to see you!" A young man with dark brown hair says as he spots the two males standing at the reception.

„Told you not to call me Sergeant here." Yoongi responds but smiles afterwards, „But nice to see you too, Mino."

The young male called Mino smiles back apologetic before handing Yoongi a paper that he has to sign.

„You brought someone with you, that's nice." Mino says as he notices the black haired boy standing next to Yoongi.

„Park Jimin." Jimin says with a soft smile, trying to look as friendly as possible but even though he has the nice angelic looks, he still sometimes looks rude and cold in the eyes of other's.

„I'm Song Minho, but you can call me just Mino!" The friendly male responds and grabs the paper from Yoongi as the elder finished filling in.

„Well you know where to find him." Mino says before leaving the two alone to get back to work.

Jimin looks around and already notices a few people or rather patients, sitting or walking around, alone or with nurses.

Jimin follows the Sergeant to the elevators and then to a certain room at the end of the hallway on the third floor of the building. The younger has a lot of questions and he is really eager to know why they are here. Somehow he manages to keep his mouth shut and not annoy the living shit out of Yoongi.

As they reach the door, Yoongi knocks a few times and waits a few seconds before entering the room.

It's a bright room with big windows, a bed on one wall and a few others things on the other side of the room. Nothing extraordinary just a regular hospital room but with big windows and more personality.

Looking out of the window, there's a male sitting in a wheelchair in front of the big windows, enjoying the warm sunlights. He turns around with his wheelchair, spotting the two males.

„Hey buddy." Yoongi says, his voice soft and calm, a genuine smile on his lips, one that Jimin hasn't seen often. Only when he petted Cali.

The male just smiles back, his eyes shining brightly and he looks really happy to see Yoongi. A few sounds leave his lips but there are no words, nothing Jimin could understand.

„Yeah you happy to see me, right?" Yoongi asks as he takes a chair and sits down next to the male. Jimin just decides to stand around awkwardly, looking around the place with his eyes.

The male in the wheelchair nods a few times, something like a laugh leaving his lips and it seems like Yoongi really gets him as he smiles with the other. Jimin tries to not look too confused but he indeed is. He isn't stupid, he knows what kind of place this is.

Another few sounds leaving the stranger's lips make Jimin look at him, his eyebrows slightly raised.

„Yes I brought someone with me, I hope it's okay?" The Sergeant asks, earning a fast nod from the male.

Jimin smiles at him awkwardly and gets a big smile on return.

„That's Jimin by the way. My new partner." Yoongi suddenly says, making Jimin look at him slightly confused. He referred to Jimin as his partner, and it really surprises the younger male.

„P-partner." The male in the wheelchair says pointing at Jimin and Yoongi responds with a nod.

„Yes partner. Just like Rin was yours." The elder responds and the dark haired male starts laughing.

„Don't laugh just because you know I hate working in Duos." Yoongi says, slightly punching the other male's arm.

Jimin is still confused but somehow the sight in front of him makes him feel strange things. Seeing Yoongi talking happily to an obviously handicapped person, making him smile and laugh, just warms up Jimin's heart. But just a little bit because he wouldn't admit that it makes him happy too from the inside.

They seem to have a good bond and Jimin is curious about the relationship the two have.

The male in the wheelchair makes a hand movement that shows Jimin to sit down as well. So the black haired boy grabs a chair and places it next to Yoongi before sitting down.

As Jimin sits down his and Yoongi's eyes met and the smile on Yoongi's lips suddenly makes Jimin's legs go weak. The Sergeant seems so happy around that male, his whole personality changed as soon as they entered this place. Suddenly the elder is smiling and he looks so soft, so warm.

Jimin couldn't return the smile at first but as Yoongi looks back to the male in front of him, a small smile forms on his plump lips as well.

„My buddy right here, has been in this place for a while now. For how long? 3? 4 years?" Yoongi tells Jimin, but still looking at the male, who just nods at the question, showing a 4 with his fingers.

„4 years. Right, Jack." Yoongi adds, „Today I don't have the time to read out for you, but next time I promise."

Jack nods the smile never leaving his lips, as he shows a thumb up to Yoongi before pointing at Jimin and showing another thumbs up.

Both males frown at Jack's hand gesture so he does it again.

„Jimin? What's with him?" Yoongi asks, still frowning.

Jack then points at his own face and then at Jimin again.

„Oh you think he's good looking?" Yoongi asks and the other male starts nodding while holding his thumb up again, „You're right, he's indeed handsome."

Jimin has his eyes slightly widen, he's surprised about Jack calling him good looking, but more over he's shocked that Yoongi agreed.

He averts his gaze from Yoongi back to the other male, „Thank you." He says with a genuine smile.

Jack once again points at his face, mostly at his eyes, referring to Jimin's unique silver eye color.

„My eyes?" Jimin asks and Jack nods once again, a sound leaving his lips as well, „I know they can be scary sometimes-"

Jack starts shaking his head several times, making Jimin frown at his reaction.

„I don't think this is what he means." Yoongi says averting his gaze from Jack to Jimin, „I think he means, that your eyes are pretty."

Jimin looks into Yoongi's eyes, that are already piercing him, and suddenly he can feel his heart skipping a beat.

„Right, Jack?" Yoongi adds, breaking the eye contact with Jimin to look back the Jack, who is once again nodding with a big smile and laugh.

„You have to know that Jimin- Jimin is special." The Sergeant explains and once again his words make Jimin feel something in his chest.

Jack tries to understand what Yoongi means with special, so he raised his shaking arm and tries to make it look like he's showing of his bicep.

Jimin chuckles at the gesture, before proudly answering, „Yes I'm like super strong."

Jack starts laughing together with Jimin, Yoongi just smiling at the two interacting.

„Maybe I can show you how strong I am one day." Jimin adds and gets a quick nod from Jack, „I mean- If you want me to come again at all?"

„Y-yes!" Jack answers quickly making Jimin chuckle in result.

Jack seems really nice, Jimin already likes him even though he doesn't know where Yoongi knows him from and in what relationship they are.

The two male spent some more time with Jack, Yoongi talking about his last mission and they made a few jokes, all in all it was a really nice hour.

„Next week I will read out for you, okay?" Yoongi says earning a nod from Jack as they are about to leave.

„See you then, Buddy." Yoongi adds while patting Jack's back.

„See you!" Jimin says before giving Jack a high five making him laugh happily.

Not long after they arrive outside, and again Yoongi seemed totally distant. Just a few minutes ago he was laughing and smiling, of course he wasn't acting like Hoseok or like Taehyung, but he was more cheerful than usually.

But then again, Jimin doesn't know him, not at all. And still he took him to meet Jack, someone who seems to be important to Yoongi. Jimin can't look through his walls, he isn't sure what kind of person Yoongi truly is. But he wants to find out.

To break the silence and his own curiosity, Jimin decides to ask the question that has been hovering in his head for a while.

„How do you two know each other?" He asks as they reach the motorcycle.

„He was a police officer. We were trained together 8 years ago and worked in the same police team before I switched to the SWAT unit." Yoongi answers not even looking at Jimin while getting ready for the drive.

„Oh okay, what happened?" Jimin asks slightly curious.

Yoongi hesitates for a second moment, „A bullet hit his head. It destroyed different parts of his brain, but he survived."

Jimin nods slowly as he tries to proceed what the elder said. Yoongi's words hit him hard. They used to work together for years and now Jack is sitting in the wheelchair unable to speak and walk.

„That's why this job is nothing to take easily. Never forget that." Yoongi adds before putting on his helmet and sitting down on his motorcycle, ending the conversation.

Jimin presses his lips together, he takes a short moment to process the other male's words before he also puts on his helmet and sits down as well.

The drive home was longer than expected, Jimin got caught in his thoughts, he didn't realize they arrived only when Yoongi parked the car and waited for him to get off.

They head to the building without talking, enter the place still in complete silence, while the inside is filled with loud talking and laughing. The others also got home and are now sitting in the living room, plying games and talking to each other. Actually it's just the trio Hoseok, Taehyung and Jungkook, but them talking sounds like 10 people.

They soon notice the presence of the two males, turning their heads around in curiosity.

„Hey you two, where were you?" Hoseok asks as Yoongi is already approaching the stairs to go to his room.

„Visited Jack." Yoongi answers and Hoseok nods with a smile.

„Tell him I said hi next time!" The younger adds, earning a nod from Yoongi in return.

„Is Joon here?" Yoongi asks but Hoseok shakes his head.

„No he had something to get done before coming home. But he should arrive soon."

The elder nods in response before going upstairs, followed by Jimin who greets the others - minus Jungkook - with a soft but somehow tired smile.

He indeed is tired and can't wait for the hot shower and warm dinner before going to sleep later on. Following Yoongi upstairs they reach the doors of their rooms at the same time, grabbing the handle also almost in perfect sync. But it was Yoongi who stopped in his movements first, right after opening his door.

„You can come with me next week to see Jack again." The elder says without looking at Jimin but rather focusing his eyes on his door.

Jimin is slightly taken aback about the sudden suggestion, but from the inside he somehow feels happy.

„I would love to."
