Christine’s child. She’s finally come back to us!

Looking at the scene before her, Alice was reminded of her parents, the tears in her eyes blurring her

vision.

“Okay, let’s all go inside now.” Lawrence suddenly spoke up.

Alice almost shed tears, but she held them back.

The Knight Family’s mansion was huge and luxurious. Caroline quickly became happy and excited; she

was no longer as reserved as when she had just arrived.

She had always been sociable, so it didn’t take long for her to become familiar with the two elderly

members of the Knight Family.

“Your father is away on a business trip. He will only be back in a few days. By then, you’ll be able to

see him,” Britney explained to Caroline patiently when the little girl asked about her father.
