After all, she would be married into the Yeager Family and was their future daughter-in-law. So if he

manipulated some facts afterward, it sounded reasonable for Alice to take the rap for this.

That way, he could divert the anger of the victims’ families directly to Alice.

Bruce didn’t hesitate as he went to Alice immediately and ordered, “Alice, tell those reporters that

you’re the one fully in charge of the Moonlight Bay project at that time.”

The moment she heard him, she almost burst out in laughter. The Yeager Family is indeed shameless.

How could they tell me to take the blame? Do I look like an idiot?

She was the one who had arranged all of this—exposing the truth from back then—and they wanted

her to take the rap?

Ha, what a joke! she thought.
