Chapter Fifty Five

"Room service!"

Danielle woke up when she heard someone knocking on her bedroom door, squinting as she barely opened her eyes. Monday morning arrived quicker than she had hoped and if she could of stayed at the Resort with Stefania for a whole week, she would have in a blink of an eye.

"Yeah?"

"Buongiorno bella," Stefania whispered, peeking her head round the door frame. "I'm about to leave for work," Danielle sat up a little and held out her arms, Stefania not wasting a second in slipping into her room and hugging her girlfriend.

"Have a good day," Danielle mumbled into her shoulder.

"You too. Text me, yeah?" Danielle nodded her head as Stefania let go and walked back to the door.

"I love you," She said, laying her head back down on the pillows.

"I love you, too," Stefania replied, blowing a kiss as she shut the door. Not even five seconds later, Danielle's door swung open and Jaina barged in.

"I think you missed out an important detail when you were telling me about your trip!" She dived onto her best friends bed and looked at her expectantly.

"What?" Danielle groaned. She really thought she was going to be able to sleep for another half hour or so.

"I love you? You said I love you and you didn't tell me?"

"Oh shoot," Danielle started laughing quietly and Jaina playfully hit her. "Yeah. I love her, she loves me, k-i-s-s-i-n-g,"

"That's not how the rhyme goes but I'll let you off," Jaina bounced on her knees and grabbed Danielle, shaking her about. "I'm so happy for you," Danielle rolled onto her back and looked at Jaina, rubbing her eyes.

"Yeah, it is pretty great," She smiled as she let out a yawn. "It feels so... right,"

"I knew it was going to happen soon. I could feel it. But anyway, I was just about to leave for work when I heard her say it so I'm going to run now but I want the full details on how it happened later," Jaina pressed a kiss to the top of Danielle's head and climbed off the bed. "Bye!"

"Bye, Jai!" Danielle called out, accepting the fact that she wasn't about to fall back to sleep. The blonde decided to get her workout done now then head down to work. She felt good, and that was all that mattered.

Down at Royal Central, Stefania sat at her desk, finally on a break after a very long meeting. It had gone better than anticipated but there was still a lot of information to take in. She took a sip of her coffee and let out a long sigh. She had about fifteen minutes before she had to get ready for a physical class so she unlocked her phone and texted Danielle, she should be on set by now.

SS: Hi :)

Danielle <3: Hey pretty girl

SS: Are you on set?

Danielle <3: In hair and make up

SS: Your smile is so precious

SS: I miss you :(

Danielle <3: I'm not finishing late tonight so we can cuddle if you want?

SS: I love you

Danielle <3: Taking that as a yes then?

Danielle <3: I love you too

Danielle <3: How's work?

SS: I feel like I've done a weeks worth of work just this morning but things are going well

Danielle didn't reply for a bit after that and Stefania assumed that she had started with hair and make up or dragged of somewhere else. That was fine though, she had to start to get ready. She changed into leggings and a t-shirt then set everything up in the studio.

"Oh good, you're in here," Jaina walked in through the doors, clutching her folder to her chest.

"Everything okay?" Stefania asked as she typed on the computer.

"Yeah, yeah. All good, just finished a class. Just wanted to stop by before you started anything," She stood next to Stefania with an odd smile on her face, like she was waiting for something.

"Do you need something for a class?"

"Oh! No," Jaina laughed. "I just heard you say I love you to Danielle earlier and I didn't know you guys were saying that," Stefania glanced at Jaina with a smile, shaking her head.

"That's what you need?" The brunette raised her eyebrows as the PowerPoint she had prepared began to load.

"Yes! Just to share my... excitement,"

"Well, yes. Saturday evening but I'm sure Danielle will give you all the details later," Stefania smiled as a couple students walked in. "Good morning!"

"Morning!"

"Oh, she definitely is. I already bombarded her this morning but she was half asleep. I'm happy though. You guys are cute. You make her happy and that's all I could ask for," Stefania felt her chest tighten a little but in a good way. Danielle made her very happy too.

"While I would love to talk to you about how much I love your best friend," Stefania begun as she took off her lanyard. "I have a class to teach,"

"Of course, of course," Jaina squeezed her arm before heading to the door. "See you later!" Stefania waved as she took to the front of the room and started to speak to her students. She felt good and that was all that mattered.

Danielle laid on the bed on set, waiting as the lighting was adjusted for the next scene.

"How was your weekend?" Caterina asked as she laid down next to her. "You didn't get back to me on coming over?"

"Yeah, sorry. I went away with my girlfriend,"

"Girlfriend?" Caterina sat up, eyes a little wide as she looked at Danielle. "I didn't know you have a girlfriend,"

"Yeah, we've been together for a few months,"

"Oh, so new ish?"

"I mean, not really. It feels like I've known her for longer to be honest," Danielle replied, smiling as she thought about Stefania sitting on her lap wearing her blazer.

"She's okay with you having an on set girlfriend?"

"We've talked about it and as long as it's just work, then yeah. I just have to make sure I've brushed my teeth before kissing her," Danielle laughed softly, completely missing Caterina rolling her eyes next to her. "She was here last week actually," Danielle said, remembering the conversation we had with Jesse.

"Maybe I can meet her next time," Danielle pondered it for a second. She knows Stefania has a little bit of a possessive streak but she's not sure how she would act if she were to meet Caterina. Dirty looks? Potentially. Snarky comments? Most likely.  Jealous sex? High chance.

"Maybe, yeah," Danielle shrugged and then they were  back to filming. Everything ran smoothly and they managed to stick to their timetable almost to the exact minute.

"See you all tomorrow!" Danielle walked off set with Caterina and Jesse, who they had just finished a scene with.

"I met Danielle's girlfriend last week," Jesse randomly said.

"You met her? Oh. I just found out she even had one," Caterina said, crossing her arms over her chest, slightly annoyed that Jesse hadn't mentioned it to her. Jesse looked at Danielle, kind of proving his theory about Caterina having a crush on her. She really didn't seem happy.

"You'd like her," He said, laughing as Danielle glared at him.

"I actually promised her I'd be home to cuddle soon so if you don't mind, I'm going to head off," Danielle said, trying to ignore the look on Caterina's face. She had no idea that she would react so bitterly.

"See you tomorrow, Savre!" Jesse waved, smile on his face.

"Bye," Caterina mumbled. Danielle waved to the both of them as she left, quickly making her way home and more than ready to spend the evening with the woman she loved. And of course, she was waiting for her on the sofa, food hot in the microwave and Jaina waiting in the arm chair to hear about how they said 'I love you'.

"Finally, you're home!"
