Chapter 295

Twins Secret (Tiffany)

Chapter 295 Another Loveless Marriage It seemed like Isidora had been through a lot. Just a few words from Aiden had her crying so hard in Tiffany's arms.

Tiffany comforted her for a long time until Isidora cried herself to sleep.

A nurse came in to change Isidora's bandages and noticed she had been crying.

"Does the wound still hurt that much?" the nurse asked, puzzled.

Tiffany, sitting nearby, didn't know how to respond and just gave the nurse an awkward smile.

From the moment Isidora fell asleep, Tiffany hadn't left the room.

She noticed that no one had come to visit Isidora and worried that if something happened, there would be no one to help. After all, it was Aiden's fault, and as his friend, Tiffany should help as much as she could.

However, when Isidora woke up, it was already dark outside.

The room was lit, but it was empty.

Isidora looked down and gave a bitter smile, thinking to herself that no one would stay with her forever.

She knew that Tiffany had been in the room before she fell asleep.

But she also understood that Tiffany had no obligation to take care of her.

So even if Tiffany had left, she had no reason to blame her.

But after crying before she fell asleep, Isidora's throat was hoarse when she woke up. She really wanted some water. Although the cup was on the cabinet, her leg was injured, and no matter how hard she tried to reach, she couldn't get to it.

Isidora didn't give up and kept reaching forward, her hand stretching out as far as it could. She was just about to touch the cup when it fell to the floor with a crash, shattering and spilling water everywhere.

Isidora sighed softly. It seemed she really couldn't manage on her own.

Just as she was about to press the nurse call button, the door to the room opened. Isidora turned her head and saw Tiffany walking in with two large bags.

Seeing this, a glimmer of surprise flashed in Isidora's eyes.

She had thought Tiffany had left while she was asleep, but Tiffany had actually gone out to buy some things for her.

Tiffany put down the bags and noticed the broken cup on the floor.

"Sorry, I thought you might need some things while you're in the hospital, so I went to the store to buy some essentials and fruits.

I didn't know what you liked, so I got a bit of everything," Tiffany said as she grabbed a broom to clean up the spilled water and broken glass.

Then Tiffany took out a new cup, filled it with warm water, and carefully handed it to Isidora.

Isidora was still in a daze, staring at Tiffany.

"What's wrong?" Tiffany asked, noticing Isidora's gaze.

Isidora's eyes reddened, and she quickly turned her head, smiling as she took the cup and drank.

"Tiffany, why didn't you leave?" Isidora asked after putting down the cup.

Tiffany was just taking out the fruit and placing it on the cabinet.

She peeled an orange and handed it to Isidora before explaining, "You're alone in the hospital and need someone to take care of you. I couldn't reach your family, and I couldn't just leave you here injured," Tiffany said. "Besides, this was Aiden's fault. He left, but I can't just walk away."

She added, "Isidora, you don't need to be formal with me. If you need anything or want to eat something, just let me know. I might have to go to the studio occasionally to work on some designs, but I'll arrange for someone to help you," Tiffany said, trying to reassure Isidora.

Isidora was deeply moved. She hadn't expected Tiffany, whom she barely knew, to be so kind to her. How could she not be grateful?

"Tiffany, once my leg heals, I will definitely repay you," Isidora said.

Tiffany turned to look at her, seeing the gratitude on her face. She reached out and gently touched Isidora's cheek, smiling.

"Alright, your main focus now is to recover. If you need anything, just let me know."

Tiffany didn't expect anything in return. If Aiden hadn't caused the accident, Isidora wouldn't be lying here. What Tiffany was doing was just making up for it.

They spent the next while talking, and Tiffany asked about Isidora's relationship.

Isidora didn't hide anything and shared her story.

It turned out Isidora was married. Their families were close, and they had been engaged since childhood.

But after Isidora became an adult, she went abroad for further studies and hadn't seen her fiancé for a long time.

She returned six months ago and married him.

However, she found that even after marriage, he was still cold to her, often using business trips and overtime as excuses to stay out all night.

At first, Isidora worried about his health and even went to his office to check on him.

But his subordinates always told her he was out meeting clients.

So every time she went to his office, she never saw him.

Until a week ago.

Isidora decided to surprise him without telling him in advance.

When she burst into his office, even his subordinates didn't know, so they couldn't stop her.

Isidora was devastated.

She thought her years of love had finally paid off, but all she got was betrayal.

He was in his office, holding his secretary, the two of them being intimate on the couch.

Isidora slapped him and then the secretary. But he defended the secretary and threw Isidora out of the office.

Isidora immediately wanted a divorce, but her family opposed it, fearing it would damage their reputation and affect the business relationship between the two families.

In the end, Isidora had no choice but to draft a divorce agreement, sign it, and leave his house with her belongings.

Today was the day she left, and she got hit by Aiden.

As Isidora finished her story, her eyes reddened.

Tiffany handed her a tissue and comforted her. "Divorce is the best choice. There's no need to stay entangled. Isidora, you did the right thing."

Tiffany gently patted Isidora's shoulder.

"But you need to know, this isn't your fault. It's your ex-husband's problem."

Tiffany had been through something similar. Although Leon hadn't cheated, he had done some terrible things.

When she divorced him, Tiffany was heartbroken for a while. But now, looking back, everything had turned out for the best.
