The Serpent 🐍 S. Stilinski

Beacon Hills. Home of the supernatural. Where it seems like every supernatural creature is drawn to.

Some are the usual werewolves then there are others that are completely foreign.

Stiles knew something was up with the leather clad boy since the first day he arrived and almost scratched his precious Roscoe.

Maybe this is one of those powers for being in a cult. Or a trick of the Serpent. Stiles has never been more confused and when he's confused he goes to Scott. The latter may not know except whatever he knows himself already but it comforted him to talk to him.

"So... he has powers?" Scott asked as he looked at his best friend. Stiles makes a noise that was indescribable as he waved hi arms around.

"I-I don't know Scott! All I know is during his little tantrum, he touched me and I saw something. Li-like a memory or something." Stiles exclaimed as he thought back to the memory.

"Oh my God! He actually smiles!?" Scott asked as Stiles told him about what he saw.

Stiles nods, "I'm surprised as you are, but I did hear something. Southside High." Stiles spoke. He got on Scott's laptop as he looked up the school and multiple ones came up.

"How are we going to narrow it down?" Scott asked as he sat behind him looking over his shoulder. Stiles explained that it was easy, because the school closed down and it spoke about transferring to a different school. Only problem was, when Sweet Pea let go so did the memory, and before Sweet Pea (in the memory) said where he and this guy named fangs were transferring to.

"Seriously, where ever he came from they definitely love unique names. I mean Sweet Pea is one thing. But Fangs, what are the dogs?!" Stiles exclaimed. Scott suggested it could be a nickname and Stiles looked at his friend. He wasn't so sure, he needed to find out who he was. He just got some possible information on the kid and now he wanted to know more no-- needed to know more.

But it would have to wait, he needed his dad. He had to find him.

•••

He missed his chance, but it was too late. Part of the Scooby Gang's already here and warned Derek about the teacher that was manipulating him.

Unfortunately for him, he had to stay here with Derek.

Shaggy and Scooby hid behind one of the walls as I stood in a corner. It was already late out and most likely she'll be coming.

Sure enough she came in and kept up her facade. Until she realized Derek knew.

"They're already here, aren't they?" She pulls away as her demeanor changing slightly.

Derek looked behind her and she turn seeing the three teens.

"Where's my dad?" Stiles asked, he wanted to hurt her. He wanted to make sure she felt pain if anything were to happen to his dad. It was the only family he had left, she'll be damned if his father was going to be sacrificed.

"How should I know?" The Darach asked a she turned to Derek. Asking if he actually believed them. He didn't say anything.

Sweet Pea could sense Shaggy's inner turmoil and he himself was pissed. He may not know the Sheriff personally but if FP says to trust him and Sweet Pea will.

"What is that?" The only women in the room asked stepping back cautiously.

"Mistletoe."

•••

Thicker than blood. More precious than oil. Even rarer to find.

Loyalty.

It was Sweet Pea's loyalty to not only the Serpent but the legendary King of Serpents: FP Jones.

FP Jones was like a father figure to him, especially when his own had past. If FP told him to help bury a kids body, he would do it no questions asked. If FP told him to deal with lowlifes under the work of Penny Peabody he would no questions asked.

If FP Jones told him to trust Noah Stilinski he would. No questions asked.

Now if he went missing because of this sacrificing witch bitch, he would definitely do anything to bring him back.

Even in other's eyes that it was illogical.

But how else do you get answers from someone who refused to talk? Stab their hands and keep adding more wounds till they talk? Choke them until they either lose consciousness or squeal like a pig?

"Sweet Pea!!" Scott yells as he pulls the boy away from their teacher. The latter currently being choked against the wall by the said boy. Without a bit of a struggle did Scott successfully pull the Serpent away.

Once the women was down Derek took his shot and gripped her neck. "Derek..." Scott spoke.

Sweet Pea smirks as he walked to the choking lady and to Scott. "I just had beef with this dog merely an hour ago and now I'm liking his tactics more than yours Scooby. So tell us why shouldn't we torture this... thing? She killed those people. Almost killed strawberry shortcake. Kidnapped me!! And she kidnapped Stiles's dad!!" Sweet Pea yells.

Once the mistletoe was splashed on the women she became the scarred being he remembered waking up to. The one from the abandoned building where he was almost knocked unconscious.

"Stilinski. You'll never find him..." She spoke as Scott tells Derek to stop. Stiles step forward looking into the Serpents eyes, silently pleading.

Besides the argument from before, they had gotten close. Call it a bonding moment if you will. All Stiles know is that he saw another side of the kid one that also lost his mother one that already lost his both parents.

Stiles swallows his word vomits as Sweet Pea told him about his mother. How she killed herself in an asylum, and when his dad had past. "Stiles. I know what's it like growing up without parents. And I was lucky enough to have the Serpents. I'll be damned if anything were to happen to your father." Stiles looks to the boy to sat on the opposite of his bed.

"You called me Stiles?" He spoke as Sweet Pea questions him on what's the difference. Stiles shrugged, "It's just you always called me Shaggy or Chihuahua. I don't think I've ever heard you say my name before..." He looked down as he thought back to the first day Sweet Pea arrived to now.

"Don't get used to it. Let's use say the respect I had for you --which was none-- has increased and to respect the Serpent Kings words. Your father is one the person I can trust." By then the leather clad boy got up and left the room leaving Stiles to his own thoughts.

Sweet Pea sighs and touched the older werewolves shoulder. After their talk they held a mutual respect. Sure Sweet Pea blamed him for the mistakes that lead them to where he was now. But in respect of his sibling that he never got meet and her feelings towards the green eyed man he was willing to not hold it against him.

For Derek, it was a revelation. Finding the boy who stood right in front of him was the baby of his lost loves mother. He was alive, standing before him.

He could see the similarities, small but it was still there. If you look past the tattoo and cold hard exterior and you could see the boy that could've been.

From the dark eyes to the hair. Round face with the small smirk.

So similiar yet completely different

From a first glance you wouldn't think a classical playing girl would be related to the hotheaded Serpent but it was a perfect example of the butterfly effect.

If Derek hadn't been manipulated by his uncle, Paige wouldn't have died.

If Paige didn't die, her family wouldn't have moved.

If the family haven't have moved, their mother wouldn't have killed herself in the asylum.

If she didn't kill herself, their father wouldn't have joined the Serpents.

If he didn't join Serpents, he wouldn't have died on the job.

If he didn't die, Sweet Pea wouldn't have been alone growing up.

If Sweet Pea wasn't alone growing up, he wouldn't have been so hotheaded.

If he wasn't so hot headed, he wouldn't be the way he is today.

If there was one thing Derek wanted to do, it was change back time. But since it's long and over with, he could at least make sure Sweet Pea was protected to the best of his ability. Even if it meant listening to the boy.

So he dropped the women on the floor and stepped back.

That's right. You need me." Ms. Blake spoke smugly. Knowing the real reason why he let go, it was because of his sister and because the Serpent that stood before her.
