New Girl

Y/N POV:

I just got inside the school and saw many students huddled up together, or maybe surrounding someone.

I rolled my eyes.

They can't mind their own business can they?

I continued my walk once again but stopped once I saw the discomfort on the new girl's face.

I swear if my kindness made me step on something once again-

Jukyung stopped once she realised somebody came in front of her.

"Hello! I am Kang Y/N." I greeted her with a warm smile and Jukyung's tense shoulder relaxed almost immediately after seeing her kind smile.

"Ohh! Two beauties hanging out together."

"It will be no wonder if they get along."

"Waah! They both are so pretty! I am blinded by their beauty."

"I am sorry about their cheesy comments, you will soon get used to it." I gave her a apologetic look and motioned her to come with me.

"I am Lim Ju-Kyung." She said cutely making smile a little.

"Nice to meet you Jukyung." I gave her a soft look.

The girl kept looking at me with a look of awe making me slightly confused.

Do I look evil or something?

" You are so pretty." Jukyung whispered unconsciously while admiring the girl who stood before her with striking looks and attractive smile.

I laughed slightly embarrassed about the compliment, and sheepishly bowed while mumbling a small 'Thank you.'

"This is teacher's office." I beckoned her to enter the room which she obliged to and I followed her in.

We greeted the teacher good morning while bowing.

"Although you didn't live far away, I bet you haven't fully adjusted." Mr.Han said arranging few papers.

"I lived here until I was 10, so I am good." Jukyung replied making me look at her.

10 years? Then have we met before?

"Ah...good to know that my favourite student is already here to help the new student out." Mr.Han said while looking at me.

"Actu-"

"Ohhh! I heard the new student here was top of her class just like Ms.Kang!" A man in his forties came in all cheerful, patting my shoulder while I bowed.

"I like her charisma." He almost yelled, I lowered my shoulder out of his reach and moved away while smiling a little.

"This must be her." He came towards Jukyung and looked at her paper that contained her former school's grades.

"He is just like that" I mouthed to Jukyung who 'o' -ed back at me.

"Forget it." Vice principal said and moved towards the other student when he saw Jukyung's bad grades.

"This must be the student who is at top of his class."

He pointed at the young boy who I just noticed. He was looking at me with widened eyes. I looked behind me to confirm that he was looking at me or not.

When I saw there was no one behind me, I smiled at the guy making his eyes widen more.

"He is the Vice principal, but don't pay mind to his words. Grades are not everything." Mr.Han reassure Jukyung.

"Can someone be more charming while bowing?" We heard the Vice Principal exclaim making me look towards the entrance.

There comes the brooding boy.

"Gosh! He is handsome." I heard Jukyung murmur under her breath making me roll my eyes.

I would have accepted the fact that he is handsome if he wasn't such a bitch to everyone. I mean, this guy is good looking but-

"I have never encountered such handsome human being before."

I felt an urge to elbow her to stop her thoughts from getting dirty by looking at this jerk handsome male which I myself just accepted is handsome.

Mr.Han looked at me but I secretly motioned my hands towards Suho's retreating back and surprisingly he understood what I wanted to say.

"Suho! This is a transfer student joining our class. Could you escort her?" Mr.Han asked politely.

"Must I? Really?" Suho asked in formal monotonous tone.

"Yes....you... must." I put emphasis on the word 'must' giving him a mocking smile.

He glared in my direction.

I just loved teasing this boy. He didn't give much reaction but those irritated look were just enough to make me satisfied, you could say that I loved his frustrated look.

Sharing the first rank with him already made me get on his nerves and these remarks made him even more annoyed.

Why I teased him? Well reason is simple, his reactions are priceless.

Then he walked out without saying anything else and I gave Jukyung a little push, beckoning her to follow him.

"Mr.Han, did you get any call from my brother? " I asked lowly when I saw them both going out.

"No, why?" He queried back.

"Ani." I walked out of the staff room into the hall and soon saw Jukyung looking at Suho's back horrified while Suho was confronting a girl who was trying to confess to him.

I tilted my head slightly trying to understand the situation when the girl moved in front of Suho holding a box of chocolate and only then I noticed Suho's blazer, it had foundation mark on it.

Ohh....Jukyung's makeup.

I looked at Jukyung at pity, god know what the stoic boy will do once he knows.

I flinched slightly when Suho tossed the box of cookies out of the girl's hand and it landed near my foot.

They seem tasty.

Wai-why does it have Suho's face printed on it?

"I don't even want it now." I murmured under my breath rolling my eyes.

I looked up to see the girl sobbing while her friends were consoling her.

Well what did she expect?

I picked up the box of cookies and walked towards the heartbroken girl. I slightly tapped her shoulder gaining her attention.

I handed her the box back.

"Feed them to dogs, it may make you feel better." I said sincerely while she gingerly took the box from me looking up at me with teary eyes.

It made me a little concerned about the girl.I softly patted her shoulder once again and gave her a reassuring smile and then started walking to my class again.

Why do they never propose me with cookies?(థ ｪ థ)

I saw Jukyung tapping her face with compact cushion making me shake my head.

Is it really that addicting?

But at the same time I saw Suho coming out of the class with blazer off and threw the blazer at Jukyung making her compact powder fall on the floor.

Her face contorted in disbelief.

"What's his problem?" She muttered in confusion and slight annoyance.

I lifted up the broken compact powder and handed it to her.

"He is always an ass and you are definitely going to need another one." I said pointing at the broken makeup accessory.

"Ohh...but I only bought it recently." She pouted sadly.

"You are really good at doing makeup you know." I complimented her on her skills.

"Thank you...if you want I could do your makeup." She implied my face dimmed a little and she noticed this.

"Only if you want! I do-"

"I would like that." I gave her a reassuring smile making her breathe in relief.

For a second Jukyung thought she made her first ever kind friend uncomfortable.

Friend.

Could she call her that? She never had friends before and this was new to her so she had her doubts and insecurities.

While the other girl's face dimmed when Jukyung asked her to do her makeup because it made her remember her. How she used to steal her makeup accessories and get chased by her, both of them having best time of her life.

But that was all in past.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you." Jukyung shyly waved and the class erupted in cheers and claps.

"You are so beautiful!!"

"Welcome!!"

Only two people were unbothered by the new student in class, the emo-hearthrob and Saebom Godess who was sitting in the far most corner of the room with head on the table.

She chose that seat for two particular reasons.

1. She will not bothered by anyone as they would have to turn around to talk to her and teachers prohibit that during classes.

2. It's near the back door so she could easily slip out in cafeteria.

"We are now even a better looking class now!" I heard someone shout making me groan a little.

Do they need to shout?

"Ahn Hyu Kyu, don't say that. You all are beautiful in my eyes. You all look beautiful from distance and stunning up close." Mr.Han said smiling warmly at the class earning groans of students.

"Why do you have to be so cheesy?"

And Mr.Han continued assuring his students about being beautiful.

"Why do you have to be so serious all the time!?" I heard Tae-hoon exclaim throwing his head back.

I sighed and lifted up my head for the first the time and looked at Jukyung who was already staring at me.

She gave me cheerful smile which I returned.

"The seat beside Suho is vacant, you can sit there." Mr.Han implied and immediately Jukyung smile dropped and eyes widen.

"I have poor eyesight!" She exclaimed scared to sit beside the imidating boy.

"Then you can sit behind Sua. That seat belongs to a student on break." Jukyung nodded and I looked at the seat behind Sua.

The student must be on a long break as I didn't saw him even once since I joined the school.

"Open your books everyone." Teacher said and turned towards the board.

I saw Sua helping Jukyung to open the notebook.

That made me smile a little, Sua has always been a cute-kind and friendly type. This made me remember why I clicked with her so easily.

The bell rang indicating it was lunch and after thanking Mr.Han, we all stood up.

I put the books back in my bag and tried to slip out to go in the cafeteria when I felt a grip on back of my collar.

"You are not going anywhere without us." I heard Soojin's voice behind me and my shoulders slumped in defeat.

"That's Kang Soojin and the one whose collar is held is Kang Y/N" Sua introduced us to Jukyung who's face brightened when she saw me.

I waved slightly then whined.

"Then let's go to cafeteria no?"

"Have patience for a bit." She tugged me back while I pouted in defeat.

"What's your stargram ID?" Sua asked Jukyung who was entering her number in Jukyung's phone.

"I don't have stargram account." She replied.

"Aha! See I told you there are more people other than me who don't have Stargram ID." I exclaimed proudly.

"It was only you in the entire school until she came." Sua stated the obvious fact and again turned towards Jukyung.

"Are you trying to be mysterious just like our Y/N-shi here?"

Jukyung's eyes darted to figure behind me who Sua introduced as Kang Soojin.

"You are Jukyung right? Nice to meet you."

Soojin spoke up smiling.

"Same here." Jukyung smiled back while admiring the beauty in front of her and suddenly a thought struck her.

They both look beautiful even without makeup and have the same surname, are they-?

"Are you both sisters?" She voiced out her thoughts accidentally.

"Yes. Cousins to be exact." I clarified.

"You are so gorgeous. Are you an K-pop idol trainee?" Sua asked putting her chin on her hands

"She talks a lot doesn't she? I hope you don't find it annoying" Soojin said to which Jukyung shook her head as no.

"Now we can go to caf- Where did she go?" Soojin asked looking beside to find the seat empty.

"As usual, to cafeteria." Sua said laughing then clarified to very confused Jukyung.

"She always do this, slip out when she get the chance to find something to eat."

I moved out of cafeteria with a big smile on my face earning few aww's from people which I was unknown to as I was so much happy that they have dumplings today.

I saw Soojin and Sua walking in the hall and followed them.

"Yaah! They hav- " I almost bumped into Suho who himself came to a halt when he saw me.

"Watch where you are going." He said in a monotonous tone and walked away with a stoic face.

"WAtCh WHeRe yOu GoINg~" I mimicked him mockingly and walked towards others who were laughing.

"C'mon they have dumpli-"

"I will go get them!" Jukyung was about to go when I held her arm.

"I mean together Jukyung-ah" I smiled a little.

"Be aware, she will snatch your dumplings when she has finished hers." Soojin said while I gasped.

"I would never do that!" I exclaimed while they laughed even more making me put hands on my hips.

"Be flattered that I came back or I would have eaten everything by myself. " I said and they shook their head smiling softly.

And all this while Jukyung was looking at us while thinking deeply.

"What do you like?" Sua asked Jukyung while all of us walked down the hallway.

"I like reading books and listening to music." She responded to which Sua happily said.

"What kind?I am huge fan of Eighteen and I love spicy food!"

"And she likes all kind of food." Sua pointed at me and they both laughed.

"Yes. I like food more than I like people." I stated as a matter of fact.

"That's why we wonder that she might agree to kill us if someone bribes her with food." Soojin said smiling teasingly at me.

I gasped in mock horror.

"Why would I do that?! Well, depends on what food they bribe me with or even the amount." I shrugged and Sua smacked my arm, while the other two girl chuckled.

"Gosh! You are unbelievable. " I laughed and hugged her from side indicating I was just joking.

"I like spicy food as well." Jukyung smiled at me.

"Then let's go to eat tteobokki after school!" I suggested to which they all nodded.

"You will come too Doo-jin?" Sua asked and Soojin pointed a threatening finger at her.

"Sure and It's Soo-jin not Doo-jin alright?"

"Alright Smarty pants with Second highest grades." I laughed at the nickname and Soo-jin smacked my arm.

"You are no better, you and Suho share the first rank so the same nickname goes to you too." Sua said looking at me.

" They are not only beautiful but also smart." She continued while me and Soojin made a same together.

"Don't tell me you have good grades too!" Sua asked and Jukyung shook her head.

"I have bad grades."

"Then you will be just pretty girl like me"

Sua claimed smiling.

And we walked to the cafeteria while chatting.
