Next morning:

I was awaken by the loud sound of notification. I groaned and opened the chat with droopy eyes and blur vision.

Turns out it was from my Blind date.

I rubbed my eyes to get a better view and opened the chat.

Ji woo Hyeon:

Are you home now? I already miss you.

Hope we get to meet again.

8:30p.m

I take back the words when I said I miss you. To be honest I already have a girlfriend.

7:05a.m

I was trying to have an affair with you. I apologize.

7:06a.m

"Ms.Y/N, call for yo- why do you have scowl on your face?" Ms.Choi came into my room as I directed my attention to her.

Curses were just on the tip of my tongue for this delusional guy but I bit it to stop myself.

"Nothing. Who is it?" I asked in an impassive voice but her reply made me jump in excitement.

"Your grandfather." I immediately jumped down the bed and grabbed the phone out if her hand as she chuckled at my over excited self.

"annyeonghaseyo hal-abeoji!!"

(Hello Grandpa!!)

I heard a rough chuckle on the phone as my smiled widen at his voice.

"Always so joyful." He said in his gruff voice, that sounded like he was getting old now.

"How are you my pumpkin?" I grimaced at the nickname but smiled nevertheless.

"I am not that pumpkin girl anymore. And I am well as Ms.Choi would have told you. How are you Grandpa? And also, where is that wanna be cow? He didn't even contact me once. I swear this sister is going to lash out on him once he comes here."

I said all those sentence in one go causing Grandpa to hardly understand it.

I heard another very familiar chuckle causing a smile spread onto my face.

"I am here only lil sis. Just busy in work you know. I will contact you in evening."

I heard my brothers voice say. Before you could reply Grandpa beat me to it.

" I am great but getting old you know. And your brother is busy in his work that he can't listen to my worries. I want to see him get married but he denies it everytime."

I heard my brother arguing with grandfather, telling him that he doesn't have time for that. He needs to work.

"Hey Y/N, they are going feral for now." I heard a deep but soft voice say making me let out a childish giggle.

Can't help it. I am simp for him.

"Typical Kang's Mr.Cha." I spoke and I could feel him smiling through the phone.

"He misses you a lot. He always rants about why did they let you go, you could have studied here and all."

I could feel warmth spread through me once Mr.Cha said that. Tears trickle my eyes and then I realised how much I missed them. How much I missed my family.

"When are you guys coming?"

"Hmm when your brother finds a girl for him." I scowled and pursed my lips.

"Will he ever get one? From the last time I remember he doesn't get any bitc-"

I stopped when I heard Mr.Cha laugh followed by confused questions by my brother.

"Let me tell you a secret........he already found one." I gasp when he said that but didn't get another chance to ask more about it when I heard one sentence from the background.

"She is young and she still attended a Blind date! Look at you! You are at the age of getting children and you are still unmarried!"

I heard grandpa's loud voice that gave away his annoyance.

"Hey why are you dragging me into this!?"

I stated, confused when the conversation took a drastic turn.

"I have to work for Go f- wait what do you mean she went on blind date?" My brother stopped mid sentence when he realised what grandfather just said.

Shit.

I heard a loud rustle and Mr.Cha's retorts as my brother's voice came in.

"You went on a date!? With an unknown guy-!?" He was basically enraged by the news and I let out an awkward chuckle.

"It's time for my school! Bye! Love you!"

"Y/-"

A beep was heard on the other end as I ended the call leaving my brother frustrated.

I breathed a sigh of relief and looked up to see Ms.Choi giggling lowly to herself.

"It's not funny." I groaned and handed her phone back.

"Trust me, you guys are most chaotic ones." She says and I grinned at her.

"That's what makes us the Kang's."

I went up to dress in my uniform and comb my hair. I took my bag and again my gaze fell on the headphone. I left it as it is and went downstairs to eat my breakfast.

I made my way to the school bus and soon reached the school.

I was walking down the campus as a familiar bike zoomed last by me.

Infamous Han Seo Jun.

I remember Sua telling me how rumours took anothe return when I posted his photo. A sudden thought came in ny mind and I took a photo of him turning off his bike. He heard a click sound as he took his helmet out and marched towards me.

"What are you doing?" He asked as he eyed my phone.

"Caught you in 4K honey. Now I will show this to aunty." Seojun tried to take my phone away as I put it back in my pocket smiling smugly at him.

"Are you my mom's mafia?" He said and I scoffed at his clueless self.

"You mean spy?" I corrected him as he became aggravated even more.

"Both are the same thing. Aren't they both bad?" He retorted. I smirked again but it faltered when his lips stretched into lopsided grin.

"Well, you wouldn't do that when I have this." My gaze fell on the photo of Jukyung wearing mask. The one he took when he was at the salon.

"Hey! She has nothing do with this!" I tried to snatch his phone but he extend his hand up, out of my reach.

"She is your friend. Of course you care about her." He smirked as he sprinted away. I followed him while shouting-

"Delete it!!"

"You delete it first!"

"I already did! Now delete that."

"Pfft. As if I would believe that."

Soo-ho just stood at the stairs while listening their bickering as they ran away deep inside the campus. A faint glint of jealousy burnt inside him. His face went even more impassive as he walked inside school.

"Dammit." I cursed when I lost sight of that feline cat.

Damn his long legs.

I straightened my coat and then began to walk towards my class.

I would meet him eventually.

Just when I was about to turn around th corner a finger was jabbed in my forehead to stop me.

"Are you trying to put your makeup spot on my jacket just like Jukyung cause that's not happening." I stared at him in bafflement.

"Uhh- I don't-"

"Eyes on me." He said while staring in my E/C orbs. Now I was bewildered by his claim.

"Like, focus on studies if you want to surpass me-"

And the first time ever, I heard The Lee Soo-ho speak in a hurry, as if he was nervous.

He can't be nervous can he?

"That's the longest sentence you ever spoke." I pointed out as I slowly took his fingers away from my forehead.

"And I study just fine Mr.Moody. You don't need to lecture me about it, I am already on waiting list of my brother's for lectures."

I whispered the last part under my breath and then went inside the class leaving a curious Soo-ho behind.

What did she muttered again-?

I gazed longingly at my former seat. Those were some beautiful days when I was not bothered by anyone. I dropped myself into my new seat and put my head on the table.

Finally! Peace.

"Y/N!!!" An excited voice called out to me as I lazily looked up.

So much for peace.

I swear if she ranted about the date-

"What happened after your date!? Did he messaged you!? What did you sa-"

This earned many attention towards her. Keen to know about the date of the Icy Saebom Goddess.

Specifically two guys, who were sneakily listening to the conversation.

And I couldn't take her loud voice anymore. Trust me, I love her. But I love my peace even more. Specially in the morning when I know my brother is on verge of killing me.

Why didn't someone bribed me with to food to kill you?

I thought mentally and just shoved my phone into her chest as she took it, surprised by my nonchalance.

She opened it and looked at the chat and as expected of Sua being Sua, she read it out loud.

"I take back the words that I miss you. To be honest I alreay have a girlfriend, I am trash that was trying to have an affair with you. I apologise."

This sentence got whole class attention. I lifted up my head and looked at her with a scowl.

Was it necessary to read it out loud?

But it's Sua after all.

"What's with him!?" Sua spoke in disbelief as I sighed.

"This guys was weird. I wouldn't-"

"Did you got dumped?" A chorus of laughter was followed by that sentence.

"How could you get dumped that instantly."

They all broke into another fit of laughter while I poked my cheeks inside with my tongue in annoyance.

This voice was of none other than the infamous Han Seo Jun.

I felt soft rub on my shoulder to see Jukyung looking at me with her soft cute smile.

"It's alright. That guy's loss-"

"You all really think I am serious about this!?" My face contorted in disbelief as they stared at me wth sympathy.

They really think this dumping thing affects me.....

"I need food to distract me. Mah most beloved." I muttered under my breath and waited for the lunch bell to ring.

As soon as it rang, I strutted towards the cafeteria where lots of new varieties of puddings were.

I happily took mah favourite ones and sat down at the table. My fingers itched to hold the chopsticks and devour it but I had to maintain a good friendship.

So I waited for my friends to join.

I looked at my plate, almost drooling but my attention was caught by my friends entering the cafeteria.

"You always get away before I can get you!"

Sua said earning a laugh form Jukyung and I ignored them already busy in eating.

I waited for them enough.

Now they are here, I don't see another reason to wait.

Jukyung hesitated when she saw Seo Jun laugh with his friends. She was upset about how he mocked about the fact that you were rejected. Suddenly, her mind lit up with a sudden idea as she eyed his bike's key in his pocket.

His mom told Y/N to get him not to ride bike. I could take revenge for her.

Then she looked at you who was busy in eating without a care.

Just for you sunshine.

Jukyung thought of you as she slowly and sneakily tried to take the keys out it hsi pockets. She got it but unfortunately, Seo Jun saw her.

Her eyes widen when her eyes met his and then she took a run for it.

"Yah!" Seo Jun shouted and also stood up to follow her but got into bumped into the crowd.

This caused many of them to lose their balance but Seo Jun didn't gave a thought and ran after her again.

It's not like I didn't heard the shouts, more like, I ignored them.

Unless I wasn't affected, I didn't care.

"Lim Jukyung!!"

But this shout with familiar voice caught my attention. I finally looked up from my plate and was met with look of distress on Sua's face.

"Seojun is chasing Jujyung! Go help them!"

She basically said this out so loud that I grimaced.

"Why is he chasing her again?"

"I don't know! But he was angry fo sure!"

She exclaimed in a worried tone.

"But my food isn't finished-"

"Y/N!!"

"Alright!" I held up my hand in surrender and after letting out a scoff u stood up.

"Why aren't you following her?" I wailed but her boyfriend caught her before she fell.

"He stepped on my foot. It hurts!" She said as her boyfriend cooed her to calm her down.

That cat-bitch.

I pursed my lips as I made through the crowd and then followed after their figure.

They soon went to the concrete path where Seojun finally caught Jukyung.

"Give it back." He demanded but Jukyung tried to okay dumb and get away with it.

But she couldn't.

Another hand grabbed her left arm as Seojun gripped on right one.

"What are you doing?"

I heard this sentence once I stepped onto the path. I analysed the situation to see both the rival studs standing there while holding arm of my Imjoo.

They are gonna get her in trouble like me too.

I stomped towards them in a determined way as both of the former best friends stared each other down with harsh glare.

"Will you guys quit with the love stare. It makes me barf." Their attention drifted towards me and then again at each other.

They shared a disgusted look and looked away.

That's what I thought.

Jukyung didn't want another ruckus, with now her being the centre of attention so she laughed awkwardly and returned his keys.

"Now you left! You go right! I will also make my way with Y/N!" She grabbed my hand as she pulled me away form those two.

"What were you even thinking?" I spoke up as Jukyung held her head down in shame.

"I thought- I would take revenge for you...like he mocked you in the class. I mean how could-"

She stopped when she felt a soft pat on her head.

"Aww you were worried about me." I smiled at her warmly to which she stared back and soon also broke into a smile.

"Of course! You are my friend!"

I put hands on her shoulders in a friendly way and then made her walk with me.

"C'mon. Let's eat together!"

Both boys stood there while staring at the two girls unblinking. They couldn't hear what they said but from the position they stood, it looked like they were flirting or something.

Soon they redirected their attention towards each other as the tension once again rose in the air.

Soo-ho was first to leave as Seo Jun stared at his back wondering.

I was walking out of school when Soo-jin grabbed my arm tightly.

"You are coming with us." She said as she began to drag me towards the study group destination.

"No please! I am tired! You see I have a kidney failure-"

"Shut up. Just keep moving." She commanded as my shoulders slumped.

Wasn't studying in school was enough?

I rolled my eyes as I followed them, more like was forced to follow them.

When they reached the place,Soo-jin's grip on my arm loosened as she pointed a finger at Jukyung.

"Don't worry! We can do this together. Let's work hard."

Jukyung smiled at this and nodded. Sua was excitedly jumping about adding another group to our study group so that Jukyung and I could flirt.

"Dating is necessary! Marriage is a choice! Amor fati!" She jumped lightly on her feet as she opened the doors of the library.

What they didn't notice was me.

I took a step back as they slowly entered. Again I took a step back and nobody looked back.

Third step and everyone went inside, nobody taking a notice of me. I smiled from ear to ear feeling accomplished.

Rest of them were taken aback to see Soo-ho sitting at the table while studying something.

"I thought you said you didn't wanted to study in group." Soo-jin said as Soo-ho looked up to scan the faces of new arrival.

"I said I don't want to, I never I wouldn't. "

He reasoned at Tae hoon hugged himself as he spoke.

"Wow we have all the top tankers in our group. I am blessed."

Small frown came on Soo-ho's face  when he didn't saw you in that crowd but he couldn't ask directly.

That would raise suspicion even more.

Suspicion about what exactly?

Soo-ho frowned deepen when he thought about that.

He was once again questioning his existence.

"The Lee Soo-ho, The Kang Soo-jin and the our goddess the Y/N-" Tae-hoon was pointing at the person whose name he called out but stopped mid sentence when he didn't say you in the crowd.

"Uh- guys. Where did Y/N go?"

Soo-jin eyes widen as she looked beside her to see no one but Jukyung.

"That brat!" She angrily marched out to see you casually walking down the street back to your house.

"You!!" I heard familiar voice shout behind me. And also very familiar angry tone followed by sounds of loud and fast footsteps. My eyes widen as I also took a run for it but it was too late.

Shit.

"You bratty kid! You are studying with us! No choices!" She yelled and grabbed my collar while dragging me away.

"Hey! I am just not in the mood to study and I am of same age as you." I said a matter-of-fact.

"Well you don't act like it."

The other member of the group stared as the Kang's enter the room again. In a peculiar way if being honest.

"Hey guys! We shall start studying even if that's what we did in school just this morning!" Everyone snickered at my sarcasm except Soo-jin and Soo-ho.

Who stood there neutral as ever.

"Fighting!"

"Yayyy..." I muttered under my breath as I dropped myself in the nearest chair.
