Naya's mother could barely hold her phone.

She calmed herself down and asked incredulously, “ Are you telling the truth? Are you really?”

After Naya's mother asked more questions, she finally got an answer.

She could barely stand still. She leaned back on the sofa while feeling dizzy.

“I want to see Naya! I want to see Naya now!”

After his wife’s strong demands, Ethan finally managed to get them the chance to see Naya through his connections.

It was almost the 20th day of Naya's imprisonment. Naya's mother did not expect to visit Naya like this.

Naya was currently in the detention ward in prison. As soon as Naya's mother saw Naya, she wanted to rush over, but the guards stopped her and reminded her.

“Naya, no matter what, you can't do anything to hurt yourself.”

“Heh.” Naya sneered and glanced at the masterpiece on her wrist. “Do you think I could’ve gotten to see you if I hadn’t done this?”

Hearing this, Ethan and his wife looked at each other. Then, they turned their eyes back to Naya at the same time. “Naya, y-you mean you cut your wrist on purpose just to see me and your father?”

Naya did not want to waste her breath explaining. She frowned slightly due to the pain. After all, the cut on her wrist was real. If it was slightly deeper, she would have already gone to the afterlife.

“Naya, we don't have much time to talk. Tell us, why do you want to see me and your mother in such a hurry? As long as it’s within our power, we’ll do it for you.”

Ethan promised Naya.

Naya, you’re not at fault.” Naya's mother hurriedly comforted her and gave Ethan a look. “It's hard for us to get to meet Naya, so can’t you just go along with your daughter?
