Chapter 2338
Madeline Crawford and Jeremy Whitman
Nayaâs mother seemed to be so mad that she was about to go insane after hearing what Karen said to protect Madeline.
She took out the suicide note that she got from Daniel and aggressively threw the paper at Karen.
After Karen caught it with her quick reflexes, she looked at Nayaâs mother curiously.
âWhatâs this? Why did you throw this at me?â
âThatâs my daughterâs suicide note!â Nayaâs mother seemed to have roared this sentence through gritted teeth. âKaren, look at my daughterâs suicide note. Do you still think that your daughter-in-law is not at fault?â
When Madeline heard the furious words of Nayaâs mother, she recalled what had happened this morning when she went to Graham Manor.
âNayaâs suicide note?â Ava frowned and walked behind Karen with Pudding.
After Karen opened this suicide note, Madeline and the rest of them quickly saw the contents of the letter. Nayaâs seemingly helpless and devastated complaints were written in the note. She accused Madeline and Ava of working together to falsely accuse her and slander her. She was also upset that Daniel did not trust her.
However, toward the end of the letter, Naya seemed kind enough to ask her parents not to pursue this with anyone.
She looked like such a highly principled and kind woman.
However, to Madeline and the rest of them, Nayaâs suicide note looked like it was something a two-
sided b*tch would write.
âKaren, have you read it clearly? Do you see how evil your daughter-in-law is? Iâll post this online and seek justice for my daughter!â
After Nayaâs mother said this, she reached out to takeback the suicide note.
Then, Karen quickly retracted her hand.
âKaren, whatâs the meaning of this? Give me back my daughterâs suicide note!â Nayaâs mother reached out her hand and demanded aggressively.
Karen said with a solemn expression on her face, âI believe that my daughter-in-law isnât that sort of person. If you post this suicide note online, youâll only make those keyboard warriors, who wish for the world to be in chaos, hurt my Evelineâs reputation.â
âIf I canât ruin that woman's reputation, does it mean my daughter deserves to die because she was triggered?â
âStop being so unreasonable!â
Ava suddenly said something. She handed Pudding, who was in her arms, to the maid. She walked in front of Nayaâs mother with a serious look on her face.
âThe decision Naya made whether to live or die falls on her shoulders alone. It has nothing to do with anyone here. Stop throwing a tantrum. If you really care about your spoiled daughter, you should go back to watch her in case sheâs so fragile that she chooses to try and kill herself again if she canât see her mother.â
âWell, well, well, Ava! Youâre so evil!â
âNo matter how evil I am, it doesnât even amount to one-tenth of how evil Naya is,â Ava retorted in neither an obsequious nor a supercilious manner. âI believe as her mother, you know as well how scary Naya can be. After all, you gave birth to her.â
â..â Nayaâs mother was so mad that she did not know what to say in return.
Madeline smiled calmly too. Then, she took the so- called suicide note from Karen's hand.
Karen was worried and also confused. âEveline, what"
âMom, donât worry about me. True blue will never stain. Have I, Eveline Montgomery, not suffered any grievances in my lifetime? I believe that the truth will come out eventually.â
