Daniel had no idea what was so urgent, but the hurried knocks gave him a headache.

“Dan, open the door now!” Daniel’s mother’s urgent voice could be heard.

Daniel got up and unlocked the door before opening it. When he saw his mother looking anxious, he frowned.

“What happened? Why are you in such a hurry to look for me?”

“Something bad happened to Naya!” His mother emphasized.

For some reason, Daniel was calm when he heard the words. He just felt inexplicably irritated.

“What happened to her?”

“She left a suicide note and attempted suicide by overdosing!” Danie’s mother did not look like she was joking. “She’s being rescued in the hospital right now. We're not sure if she’ll be able to make it. Dan, you have to go check on her no matter what.”

When Daniel learned of the situation, he did not delay things. He grabbed his coat and rushed to the hospital with his mother.

The doctor came out of the emergency department the moment they arrived.

Daniel saw Naya’s parents rushing over to ask about Naya’s situation. Then, the doctor quickly gave them an answer that reassured them.

“Sir, Madam, don’t worry. We were successful in pumping your daughter’s stomach, and she’s not in any danger now. However, she’s very weak and needs to rest well. Don’t trigger her again. Try to follow her wishes and fulfill her every need. Otherwise, she might do something irreversible after getting triggered again.” 1 “Thank you, Dr. Swift. We'll keep that in mind.” Ethan thanked the doctor, and it seemed that he knew the doctor.

“It’s good that Naya’s fine. That’s good...”

Naya’s mother wiped away her tears at one side. She let out a sigh of relief and turned her head, only to see that Daniel and his mother were here. Then, Naya’s mother angrily barged over to Daniel and started scolding him. 1 “Daniel Graham, what did our Naya do to you? Is she not good to you? How could you work with outsiders to hurt her? Daniel was confused and knitted his eyebrows together after being scolded by Naya’s mother.

“She did it because of me?”

“Just read it for yourself.” Naya threw a letter at him angrily. 2 Daniel hesitated for two seconds before he grabbed it. After he opened it, he saw that it was the suicide note Naya left before she took the pills.
