“Danny.”

Ava raised a slight smile while calling out Daniel's name affectionately and naturally. Daniel looked at this warm and gentle smile, a subtle feeling quietly surging in his heart.

He did not know how to describe this feeling, but when he looked at Ava's smile, he felt very comfortable and motivated.

“Dan, hurry up. Get in the car so we can go home. Don't make Naya wait too long.” Daniel's mother urged impatiently from in front of them.

Daniel glanced sideways at his mother, indicating that he understood. Then, he turned his head to meet Ava's gaze again.

“Ive forgotten a lot of things.” Daniel parted his lips, and his tone was very gentle. “The only thing I remember now is my name. They showed me some photos and videos. They also told me some things. To avoid unnecessary trouble, I think you should not come look for me for the time being.” After Daniel said these words, the wind threatened to blow away the smile on Ava’s face. “I came here today because I heard that you’re going to be discharged from the hospital.” Ava smiled and handed over the bouquet in her hand. “ This bouquet is for you. Congratulations on being discharged from the hospital. Just recuperate well after you go back. Don't think about anything else.

Just go with the flow. When you recover your memories naturally, I believe you'll come back to me.”

Ava said with a smile. Seeing that Daniel was staring at her absentmindedly, she simply put the bouquet into Daniel's hand.

The moment their hands touched unintentionally, Daniel's heart started beating even faster.

“Dan, remember to take good care of your injuries. Maddie is still waiting for me. I'll go first. Bye.” Ava waved at Daniel, then turned around carefreely.

Daniel looked at Ava's back. He still did not come back to his senses even when Ava had already gotten into Madeline's car.

He remembered that both his mother and Naya had told him that Ava was a woman who constantly pestered him, but just now, she was so free and easy. She left after handing him the flowers and her blessings. She did not seem like a rambunctious and unreasonable person at all. Seeing that Ava had left, Naya immediately got out of the car and walked to Daniel's side.

“Dan, let's go home.”

Upon hearing this, Daniel took another look in the direction where Ava left before getting into the car.

After the car started, Daniel looked at the bouquet in his hand. He frowned and said, “The woman named Ava from just now seems to be completely different from what you guys described.”

Naya and Daniel's mother were stunned when they heard that. They looked up to see that Daniel's expression was serious.

“She doesn't seem like an unreasonable person at all. It doesn’t seem like she wants to pester me either.”

Then, she put on an aggrieved expression and said in a soft voice, “Dan, let's not mention this person again, okay? Mrs. Graham is the person you’ re closest to, so why would she lie to you? You and I have been childhood sweethearts and now, I’m your fiancée. Everything I do is for us. Ava is really scary. Let’s try our best to stay away from her when we see her in the future.” Although Naya's voice was very gentle and sounded sweet, for some reason, Daniel just found it abnormally ear-piercing.

“Dan, did you hear what Naya said? Stay away from that Ava person in the future so that you won’t upset Naya,” Daniel’s mother also chimed in.
