Chapter 2150
Madeline Crawford and Jeremy Whitman
Daniel saw Ava deep in thought and suddenly grabbed her hand.
âActually, I know nothing about her. I only want to know more about you.â Daniel looked into Avaâs eyes solemnly.
Ava was stunned for a while, and she quickly felt Danielâs concern and care for her.
After dinner, Daniel walked with Ava for a while before sending her back to her apartment.
When they were about to part ways, Daniel grabbed the door handle. His eyes were filled with innocence and disappointment.
âDonât ignore my calls again. No matter how hard itâs going to get, trust that I wonât give up on you.â
He promised and suddenly planted a kiss on Avaâs forehead.
âAva, donât take what others say to heart and donât let them affect our relationship, okay?â
Ava knew she had made Daniel sad by ignoring his calls before this, so she nodded quickly.
âDonât worry, Maddie talked to me today and I know Iâm the one at fault. I wonât be so willful next time. A relationship is a two-way street. I shouldnât let you handle this all by yourself. We should solve whatever difficulties that are thrown at us together.â
After he heard this, a relieved smile appeared on Danielâs face.
When Daniel turned around, Ava stood at the door.
Ava only closed the door when Danielâs figure was out of her vision.
The moment she sat down, her phone rang.
It was from Madeline, and Ava quickly swiped her finger across the screen to answer it.
âMaddie, I was about to call you! â
When Madeline heard Avaâs happy voice, she knew that the tense situation between Daniel and Ava was resolved after she left.
âYou sound happy. Are you and Dan okay now?â
Ava grunted a reply and sighed softly. âMaddie, do you know whatâs the plan to get the best of both worlds that Danny mentioned?â
âWhat is it?â Madeline asked curiously as she leaned against Jeremyâs body while she played with the little boy who was learning to speak.
When she heard what Ava said, she was very shocked.
âThatâs the plan he was talking about? Ava, you didnât agree, did you?â
âI wanted to at first, but when I saw Naya, I donât want to anymore, â Ava told Madeline her thoughts.
âI keep feeling that Naya wants to scam Danny into getting engaged to her. In short, I just donât think this is a good plan.â
âSince you think that itâs not a good plan, donât say yes. Iâll support your decision no matter what, Ava.
But you have to trust Dan too.â
âYeah, okay. Donât worry.â Ava smiled. She was in a good mood now.
When she was about to talk to Madeline a little longer, the doorbell of her apartment rang.
âMaddie, someoneâs at the door. I have to go now. â
âWhoâs at the door when itâs so late at night? Be careful.â Madeline reminded her. âHang up after you see who it is.â
âGosh, Maddie, are you worried that someone will abduct me?â Ava walked to the door as she said jokingly. Then, she opened the door with a click.
On the other end, Madeline asked when she heard the door opening, âWho is it?â
