A good day turning bad [Part 21]

Kunal Pov:-

I was in my office in my cabin thinking about Ananya's words. She said I am just like her father, how can she say that? Her father was an alcoholic and a cheater, he abused his wife and forced himself upon her. Did I ever do something like that, I can't even imagine it. I was hurt, she hurt me a lot last night.

Ever since she came into my life, I have felt something inside me in every moment I was with her and realized that I fell for her but couldn't muster up the courage to say her so I decided to ask her to be friends so that she could know me more, she could know the real me. Seeing the look on her face, in her eyes I knew the feelings are mutual but why she said those words.

I know she had a traumatic childhood but one needs to face the past and move on from it for better future lie Atharv bhai did. Just thinking like that won't take us anywhere. I sighed, I miss her so much I wanna go home and take her in my arms and hug her tight, kiss her till she is breathless. But I cannot and i won't not until she takes back what she said. I am being childish so be it.

I was in my thoughts when a knock interrupted and Soumya came inside my cabin, oh god I am seeing her after a week, after that incident. I stood up and immediately hugged her as she hugged me back, "I missed you Soumya where were you these days , you didn't answer your calls and didn't replied to any texts" I said as she gave me a painful smile.

"I am so sorry bhai but I had few things to manage and I need to meet Atharv bhai too, but.." she looked down, why she has to look down just because of her mom. "Atharv bhai doesn't hate you Soumya" I said and she shook her head as tears started slipping from her eyes. "I don't know bhai how will I face him, I am too ashamed" she said and wiped her tears.

"But I have to face him, I have to give him this file and this pendrive" she said showing me the black file and pendrive . I nodded and we started going towards Atharv bhai's office. There are different office building built inside the premises of Rawal Industries, We all have our own office and his office is a publishing company.

We came inside his office as his P.A. led us to his cabin. We came inside with Soumya hesitating and bhai stood up and raised an brow, "what are you doing here?" he asked but stopped looking at Soumya. He never interacted with Soumya much just casual hi and hello's. "bhai Soumya wants to give you something"

I said and he looked at Soumya who was looking down, he came near her and she looked up but unable to meet his eyes she looked at me. "It wasn't your fault Soumya,  don't hate you and I will never after all you are the only sister I have" Atharv said and Soumya was about to hug him but stopped knowing he doesn't like anyone touching him.

He smiled at her finally his dimple smile after years and opened his arms for hug and Soumya hugged him tightly, "I am sorry bhai so so sorry please forgive me for taking mom's side" she cried and he tried to console her. After some time she stopped crying and sniffed, "As I said you are still my baby sister, never ever in your future look down just because of some other person not even when she is your mom because you didn't do anything wrong" Atharv bhai said and she nodded.

Lemme light up the surroundings, "Nobody hugged me, Atharv bhai you haven't hugged me in ages" I said and he rolled his eyes before pulling me in for hug. We talked for sometime and then Soumya left as she has designs to submit, she works in my office from past few months as a assistant designer but she is very good at her work maybe she will promote soon.

The Rawal brides have gone for shopping today ugh yeah girls day out is what Dhara bhabhi called it. I didn't see Ananya after she was wake as she didn't mean any word I know but still it felt like someone pierced my heart when she said those words. I hope Ananya realises it soon that I have genuinely fallen for her.

Dhara Pov:-

Ugh finally done with our hair colours and other parlour stuffs we are in luxury brand mall shopping for ourselves and also for our husband. But Ananya looks zone out and also Kunal too went office early without having breakfast, something happened between two I hope they solve it quickly.

"Dhara she this short dress it will suit you well go try it" bhabhi said and I shook my head, "no bhabhi I don't wear this kind of frocks and all iI look more chubby in these dresses". My reply finally took Ananya's attention, "what are you saying bhabhi you will look so hot in this dress and you are not that chubby plus in these type of dresses will look good on you, who is that idiot who fed these things in your mind" she huffed and I chuckled.

"maybe you are correct and the person who said me these things doesn't matter to me anymore so does their words" I said and took the dress and went to try indeed I looked beautiful. They both gasped as I twirled in my dress, "you look so pretty Dhara wow!!" bhabhi said and I blushed. Ananya fanned herself making me chuckle.

After shopping we were sitting in a restaurant eating our lunch, well its already around 4pm so it isn't lunch time anymore but who cares. The media people were kept away from us by the bodyguards as we tricked them and came to a different restaurant with only few bodyguards as the restaurant was pretty much empty.

We ordered our food and started chatting but Ananya was zoning out, "is everything okay Ananya?" I asked and she barely nodded but her eyes betrayed her and she started tearing up. Drishti bhabhi side hugged her and caressed her head, "bhabhi I.... messed up, I...I hurt him badly" she said. "talk to him Ananya and clear it out before it creates distance between you two" Drishti bhabhi advised.

"Ananya, you know right Kunal is aggressive but the way he is behaving so patiently with you makes it clear you are very special to him, don't let anything meddle in your relationship" I said and she nodded. "I....I will I will ask for his forgiveness yesterday was too much for me and my emotions were messed up but today I will make it up to him" She said and we smiled as Drishti bhabhi patted her head.

"you know in K-drama's they say 'fighting' if you are trying to do something so, fighting" I said and she chuckled, atleast she is smiling. Our food arrived and we clicked pics and started eating. The food is always delicious, its Wednesday so we are eating non-veg too [sorry to anyone who doesn't like non-veg its just a story line moreover your author is pure vegetarian].

We heard few noises and looked around and saw from the window that few people are running outside and suddenly gun shots were heard. What is it a terrorist attack? or something else. Suddenly two of our body guards came and panicked, "Mam please leave the place this instant, there are" his words of cut off when a bullet from behind us was shot on his forehead.

We gasped and screamed seeing the pool of blood as he fell down. We turned around and saw few man looking like goons, we stepped back and tried to get away but before that the room was filled with smoke and we panicked more, "who are you? why are you all doing this" drishti bhabhi shouted but they just scoffed and wore masks. the smoke was suffocating us and last thing I heard before fainting was, "lets call the Rawal heirs and tell them we have their precious wives".

Karthik Pov:-

I came home hurriedly with Atharv and Kunal as mom called us getting all panic that drishti, dhara and ananya hasn't come home yet as it was already 8 pm. The bodyguards assigned to them were in hospital as I just got call from my P.A telling me about their where abouts. What is the world happened, "Mom where are they?" I asked

"I don't know beta kirti was crying so I called Drishti but she didn't pick her up phone then I called Dhara and Ananya too but they also didn't pick up their phone, so I got worried and called you" she said and I ran my hand through my hairs, fuck where are they are they in trouble. Kunal was calling them again and again. Atharv was calling police commissioner to look for them.

I sighed but suddenly I got call from a very known caller id 'Nikhil Agarwal' my once bestfriend. I felt pit in my stomach as I picked up the call thinking it isn't what I am thinking. "Hello" I said and heard him saying, "how are you murderer, you might be good I know you are doing fine with your wife and daughter back in your life but you know right I don't like it when you are happy"

"What do you want Nikhil" I said my jaw clenching hard as Atharv and Kunal came by my side. "What I want... I want you to be miserable and also you will be miserable when your family will be miserable so I took away your and your brother's happiness". My anger rose why does he has to stoop so low to hurt me why? "if anything happens to them I will kill you" I said and he laughed.

"we will se that you have 48hours to find your laila, if you don't there are many Arab merchants who are willing to have new maids" he said and cut the call. "They are kidnapped" I said and everyone gasped.
