"Ack" tcf!Cale rubs his head as he glared at the perpetrators.

"You idiot! why did you have to go and do dangerous things!"

They were angry but their worry was clear on their face.

They knew that it was his best way to show that he reflects and reassure them that he will keep his promise to them.

"All right do we need to have a talk about self-degrading?"

The Korean hyungs were fussing over their dongsaeng as they said those.

"Again, why can't they just show everything and make this in order?" it's more of a complaint rather than a question

Lee Chul Min was the one to break the silence.

Meanwhile, "must be addressing some idiot spewing nonsense" tcf!Cale thought.

He could speak easily now that he opened his mouth to speak.

His voice slowly started to get louder.

St!Lee Soo Hyuk and st!Choi Jung Soo was hoping to lessen their dongsaengs burden.

They sigh helplessly at the self-sacrificing idiot.

She gently smiled toward Cale. However, Cale could tell that this was a forced smile.

She was putting on a front for Kim Rok Soo who was speaking.

"I wonder what did the young master talk about" tcf!Mary was always left amazed at what the young master always concocted.

Everyone sigh because they can actually see that happening.

"What crazy thing are they talking about?" tcf!Cale believes that he is not someone who does any of that. He frowns at their insinuation.

But of course he won't let his displease show in front of those vicious existence.

They're mighty and scary.

That was why Cale had no choice but to respond.

"Yes, ma'am, I do."

He looked back toward Park Jin Tae.

"It is exactly as I said, sir."

Tomorrow at noon.

A solar eclipse would happen throughout the world at the same time.

"It's a limited number of places where the monster doesn't attack." st!Choi Jung Soo explains all while cursing at the possible future.

"It's like the safe haven for all of us especially those who have no abilities." st!Lee Soo Hyuk said as he took a glance at st!Kim Rok Soo.

"That's why I left him there to be safe" and now he was devastated that his dongsaeng is in danger. He needs to go back there.

As everyone felt weighted down by what they heard.

Park Jin Tae recalled what Cale said word for word before repeating the last part.

"...Finally, the monsters will charge in like a tsunami and attack the central shelter."

They all heard Kim Rok Soo's voice again.

"The monsters will not randomly attack together. They will attack based on their Grade."

"...Grade?"

"Grade?" st!Choi Jung Soo repeated the question also curious about what it means.

"Yes, there will be monster grades that determine based on the monster strength" tcf!Cale sighs remembering those scenes as he shakes his head.

"Everyone is happy, they are happy" he chanted to himself glancing at his hyungs that gives him reassurance.

"Yes, sir. Grade. It is based on a monster's strength and abilities."

Park Jin Tae started to frown.

"...Monster Grades-"

Grades had yet to be determined at this time.

That was why there was talk in the future about whether this pattern was some sort of training for humans to be able to fight against the unranked monsters.

"All right! He's a bad influence on you! Get away from him" og!Cale pointed at tboah!Cale because his 100% sure that it was tboah!Cale influence.

Completely ignoring the fact that they are the same person.

And this is one example of being like a separate person but still the same.

As st!Lee Soo Hyuk stilled. Because wow when did his dongsaeng Rok Soo get a sense of humor?

That response made Park Jin Tae shut his mouth.

'You're an ability user with multiple abilities, right?'

St!Lee Soo Hyuk whistled "Well would you look at that Park Jin Tae has multiple abilities" he smirk already storing that information for future use.

While st!Kim Rok Soo smiled.

"Weaker human! You're doing the scamming smile like our weak human does!"

st!Kim Rok Soo and tcf!Cale ignores that.

He heard the thing Kim Rok Soo whispered in his ear once again.

It was such a large secret that he couldn't even get angry at the fact that Kim Rok Soo was speaking informally to him.

"My dear dongsaeng I can really see how you really care for authority" tcf!Alberu unhidden sarcasm was dripping all while smiling serenely.

tcf!Cale also gives his version of a serene smile "Your Highness of course I will always give you the highest priority for you are the one and only shini-"

"Stop." The crown prince sighed.

tcf!Cale smirk.

"And call me hyung." tcf!Alberu smiled at tcf!Cale faltered smirk.

"Were still the best hyung of course" st!Choi Jung Soo and st!Lee Soo Hyuk chimes in.

The two side smile/smirk at each other as thunder sparks flies in the background.

And the 4 idiots just stare at them impassively.

"Idiots... Eric hyung is still the best"

tboah!Cale and og!Cale thought proudly.

Park Jin Tae looked toward Cale again.

He pointed to himself.

"Tell me one more thing."

Cale chuckled at the gesture and walked over to Park Jin Tae.

Park Jin Tae's grip tightened on the couch as he watched Cale walk over.

"Woah why do I picture that as Cale seductively walking towards him" a certain Mercenary King who has a death wish loudly said.

He wisely shut up after feeling that he was sentencing himself to death. The stabbing glares were like a prelude to his pending execution.

'He'll definitely tell me about the ability I'm hiding.'

Park Jin Tae started to get nervous.

Kim Rok Soo whispered at that moment.

"His definitely seducing him," the other Mercenary King said after not realizing that his counterpart was almost sentenced to death for saying almost the same thing.

"Did you know, I have this amazing ability that can trap people in any object" st!Lee Soo Hyuk the protective big brother he is threatens him.

That shut him up.

"You are going to fight in the frontlines, putting your life on the line, if danger arrives at this place."

Park Jin Tae's pupils shook even more than before.

"You're going to say that the old and weak people are getting in your way of fighting and evacuate them first. Then will be people like me who don't have any abilities."

His voice was extremely calm as if he knew he was telling the truth.

Kim Rok Soo had already experienced it once before.

"Can they really blame me if they're acting geh" Bud thinks to himself. Of course he won't defend himself loudly. He doesn't want to be hunted by overprotective people.

Heck, he even think the word gay in different word just to be sure, you know, in case there was someone here who can read minds.

"That's the kind of person you are."

Park Jin Tae slowly started to speak.

"Ha, hahaha-"

His laughter filled the room.

He was laughing so hard that he was starting to tear up.

"Yeah, I feel like whoever deals with 'this' will have their sanity screwed" og!Cale was pointing at tcf!Cale when he said 'this'.

He then caught his breath...

And started to speak with a smile also as if he was sighing.

"Looks like I had an even bigger secret found out."

"Wait. His secret was being a what was it called again... Ah tsundere?" tcf!Toonka was kinda proud of himself for remembering that word.

"Like Cale/Cale and Kim Rok Soo."

The Cales and st!Kim Rok Soo said at the same time.

Which they now gave each other a 'can't believe face'

"You know it's kind of confusing to call you when two people here have the same name" tcf!Tasha cuts in.

"I vote for Cale to be called pokemon Princess!" tboah!Cale suddenly suggests.

"Fine. Let's just go with Cale the good version and Kim Rok Soo the good version" tboah!Cale nods in satisfaction.

The self-proclaim brothers of tcf!Cale feels a very slight disturbance in the distance.

Park Jin Tae's eyes opened wide. He looked at Kim Rok Soo with a piercing gaze before finally starting to speak.

"What is your plan?"

"Leader-nim!"

Lee Chul Min who had quietly been standing there raised his voice as if he couldn't let this continue, but Park Jin Tae didn't even give him a glance.

He was only focused on Cale's lips.

"That sound so fruity"

The Koreans focus on the plan.

They were sure they can use tcf!Cale's plan because it's Cale's plan and his plan always has good results. But they were also sure that they need to change some parts of it.

"He might-no will plan something that will harm himself in the process so I must change it" The Korean hyungs thought.

Cale could not continue speaking.

"What nonsense, I will never make a plan that involves hurting myself"

"You should've just slapped him instead of the armrest!"

"Why is this child so vicious?" tcf!Cale thought as he tries to calm the angry kitten. "Calm"

"We need every manpower"

Lee Chul Min looked toward the person in shock.

Cale continued to speak.

Everybody in the room flinched at this sudden name that was mentioned.

This was not a name they had expected to hear at all.

st!Kim Rok Soo keeps getting surprised at all this new information.

"He has an ability?"

"Shield" tcf!Cale said as he elaborate because this is a piece of vital information that they needed "His Shield ability awakened not long before the central shelter was destroyed."

"The mister's ability specializes in defense."

Park Jin Tae subconsciously started to mumble after hearing what Cale said.

"...Mr. Jang Man Soo awakened an ability?"

"That's right. You can confirm it tomorrow."

"He died fighting." tcf!Cale solemnly said as he recall what Jang Man Soo said at that time "Kehehe! I'm relieved! This time, I'm going first after protecting people!"

"The memory of Jang Man Soo that time remained in me that's why the first ancient power I decided to get was the Sheild." He nonchalantly adds.

- I should thank him then! I'm glad that you get me.

The ancient power is having a feast in his mind.

He ignores them.

While the others who heard him were glad that he got the shield that can protect him and worried that the first thing they heard was 'died fighting'.

The extremely calm voice made it seem as if he was telling the truth.

Cale then continued to speak to Park Jin Tae.

"And Park Jin Tae, you will be the center of the attack team."

Park Jin Tae gulped and started to speak.

"But isn't it better to go to a different temporary shelter rather than protecting this central shelter?"

"Can't they?" tcf!Jack worriedly asks concerned for their safety.

"They could be but if they were a large number of people there then it's not sure if they can find a shelter large enough to fit everyone." st!Choi Jung Soo answered nicely to the sweet and innocent saint. He feels like he's going to burst into flames if he swears and curses in front of him.

He thought it would be better to move to a temporary shelter and avoid the monsters' attacks that way instead of defending if a horde of monsters were going to attack.

"Well, we would need to go to multiple temporary shelters to fit everyone."

The central shelters were much larger than the other shelters. That was why they would need to split up and go to different shelters.

They would then have to keep moving to different temporary shelters.

They had no idea when any temporary shelter would disappear.

They were not going to stay safe forever.

"Being in a constant guard even in sleep.." tboah!Choi Han whispers silently. He knows full well how that feels. The pain, the sleepless night, and the hopelessness it brings.

Those cold nights being alone in the Forest of Darkness wishing to go back to the time of mundane life with his family in a warm home.

He finds that family in the Harris Village but was taken from him.

He then finds a new family, small as they are but still family.

And he would die protecting them.

But he feels fear.

Fear that they are bound to die.

A hand reaches his close fist. He looks at tboah!Rosalyn that was giving him a reassuring gaze.

"It'll be alright"

That one word full of resolution and promise eases some of his fears.

It'll all be alright.

He convinces himself.

Cale shook his head.

"That is not a good idea."

"Unfortunately, the monsters will attack the temporary shelters as well. Of course, the number of monsters attacking those shelters will be less than here at the central shelter, but it will not be a small number as it will be based on the number of people who will be at the temporary shelter."

"The more you protect the more you're in danger" tcf!Toonka said scrunching his face.

But what Cale said next put the people even more at a loss for words.

Cale calmly stated the things that ended up happening.

"Furthermore, the temporary shelters will gradually lose their abilities once the central shelters disappear."

Even Lee Chul Min did not bare his fangs at Cale this time.

"...So, you're saying that in the end, all shelters will disappear?"

The Koreans slump down at their impending doom.

"It's all right, there is a way to prevent this catastrophe" tcf!Cale isn't a believer in 'what if' situations but he does replay this event a hundred times whether intentionally or not and so he knows what to do to keep everyone safe.

Looking at tcf!Cale the Koreans remember how there was a team and how Cale survive through it all. So there must be a way for them to survive.

And it will be all of them.

Lee Chul Min's voice was shaking after hearing Cale's firm response.

"...That will be hell."

His voice could not help but shake as he imagined hell on earth.

"The world will only be without any shelters for three hours."

"3 hours without protection from the monsters that will attack them will feel like an eternity."

tboah!Basen who have experience war knew the feeling of that torturous time.

It was a good thing that they were in a stalemate and to be here, they were at least given time to recover, gather info, and plan.

Being able to relax before facing the dangers once again.

Park Jin Tae looked toward Cale again.

Cale continued to speak as everybody's gazes were focused on him.

"A different looking central shelter will appear one day after these central shelters disappear."

Ah, the hope that they were waiting for.

The Koreans rejoice at the fact that there will be a new place for them to rest and recover.

"We only just need to survive until then"

Simple but extremely hard.

"You'll make it through" there was fire in tcf!Cale eyes. That determined gaze was enough to fuel their own determination.

"Then we can go there!"

Cale nodded his head at Lee Jin Joo's statement.

"As long as we can survive one night that is."

A night battle.

tcf!Choi Han understands how much harder that is than in daylight. Fighting, running, hiding, and surviving in the dark forest with no safe place to rest is the most tiring and hopeless situation.

But the most painful of it all was when he was in the cold silent night he was always reminded that he is all alone.

When he was alone in the Forest of Darkness.

When his family in Harris village died.

He didn't question whether Cale was telling the truth or not anymore.

They had all faced this unbelievable situation known as the cataclysm already.

They always had to prepare for the worst.

That was especially the case if the worst-case scenario was going to be hell.

Park Jin Tae opened his mouth to speak.

"Does a Grade 1 monster have to be as strong as the bastard with three horns?"

Monsters did not have names yet and were called out by their characteristics at this time.

Cale nodded his head.

"That monster is one of the Grade 1 monsters."

"And those things will come attacking like a tsunami?"

"After the Grade 3 and Grade 2 monsters go by."

Lee Chul Min subconsciously started to speak.

"O, our attack team can't handle it if more than four of them come at once! We will die! But they're going to come like a tsunami? How is that possible?"

A tsunami of monsters without the shelter.

Anyone who heard that will be plunged into devastation but not the Koreans who are in this room.

This made them more resolute to overcome, survive, and live.

They only have one thought.

"I must protect them"

"Of course, there will be less of them than the Grade 3 and Grade 2 monsters."

"That's obvious! There aren't as many of those strong bastards! Even still, even still, there has to be at least more than ten of them, right? Especially if all of the ones around us come to attack!"

He heard Park Jin Tae's stern voice at that moment.

"We can't last through that."

Hearing someone say that made the room turn cold.

It's logical, possible even, and has a higher chance of survival.

They would rather not choose that option if possible.

He wants to live peacefully. And to do that he needs to have a peaceful mind.

He believes himself to be very selfish and only thinks about his own comfort so It'll be annoying and bring chaos to his mind if he abandons others. That's why he rather save them to have an undisturbed mind.

"No."

Cale was stern.

"We will persist."

"...How are you so sure about that?"

Everyone especially the Koreans is focused on reading the next sentence.

They trust tcf!Cale when he says they will persist because they know he isn't a person who gives false hope.

The skinny young man with a sharp gaze started to smile brightly.

The blood-colored eyes bastard had made a big mistake.

He wanted to activate his ability earlier but there was no clue as to how to awaken an ability

But that did not mean that the memories he had gathered had disappeared.

His power came not from the present nor the future, but from his experiences in the past.

"Thank you for recalling those painful times just to save them and us"

They just fondly shake their head at him.

It was important to awaken his ability, but there was a reason he thought that this battle at the central shelter was doable even without it.

Cale had a power that came from experience.

"I have all of the data regarding those monsters."

Cale who was in Kim Rok Soo's body right now, the man who had lived as Kim Rok Soo until he was thirty-six and then lived as Cale continued to speak.

"Wait. Thirty-six? You were thirty-six?" tcf!Alberu was currently shocked at what he just learned.

"Why is he acting like this?" tcf!Cale thought as he reply yes.

"He's older than me" the crown prince froze processing that information.

"I thought it was only young master Kim who was a regressor?" tcf!Tasha asks giving mercy to her nephew who was petrified.

"Well, I'm also the same" tcf!Cale nonchalantly said. Did he not tell them? Well he really don't care.

After a few minutes of silence.

"... I'm still the hyung, right?" The crown prince broke that momentary silence with that question.

"..."

Seeing that look on tcf!Cale face, tcf!Alberu hastily said, "since a hyung is the one who will help you with your slacker life".

"Of course Hyung-nim!"

Everyone sighed at that very enthusiastic reply as the crown prince let out a satisfied smile.

"Well I'm obviously still your hyung whatever age you have"

"Me too!"

Of course the real awesome and BEST hyungs said.

"Yeah, it's not like they act their age anyway" tboah!Cale cheekily said.

Some people scowl(pout)

"Weaknesses, movement patterns, attacking styles, and destructive force. I also know the order in which the monsters will attack."

His voice was starting to get stronger.

"All of that information is in my head."

The records he had gathered while facing despair in the past.

That was a way to have hope right now.

"We can win because we have data."

"Yeah, having information is a great game-changer"

tboah!Cale somewhat knew what to do to prevent the terrible future.

He just needs to tweak some of tcf!Cale plan and make do of some of the abilities that tcf!Cale has which he doesn't possess.

Plus there are all these people here who are smart and strong that he can use.

Well, he will only do that in case the body-switching wasn't feasible.

Like for example, the deal could only be done when 40 years pass. Which will be very useless to him. He wants his family to be safe in the present.

Or another variable is someone prevented him from making the deal.

But he was so sure no one would do that.

Just a little stab and everyone is all good.

Not like someone will know what he plans and prevent him from stabbing himself anyway. Heh.

(Little did he know that some parental figures, a sworn brother, a frenemy, and a lot more people are going to prevent him from stabbing himself and they will also give him 'feels')

Data.

That had been the foundation for how humans were able to create societies on Earth again, the thing that allowed them to go from being weaklings to proper opponents of the monsters.

"Please trust my data. Then we will all survive."

All of them looked toward Kim Rok Soo with complicated expressions.

But at that moment...

One person walked over to Kim Rok Soo and grabbed his hand.

He looked out the window.

The sun was already setting.

He walked past Cale and headed out the door.

"We don't have much time so we will trust your prophecy for now, Kim Rok Soo. Lee Chul Min!"

"You told them you gain an ability that sees a glimpse of the future?" st!Kim Rok Soo state more than asks. He could see the reason why he would do that.

Before tcf!Cale could answer someone cut in.

"A scamming prophet"

"You could make a cult"

og!Cale and tboah!Cale sagely said as they nod at their assessment.

"Why would I want to make something so troublesome?" tcf!Cale asks looking at them like they grew two heads.

"And cults are evil"

"Like the ARM organization that is being led by a Chuunibyou"

The Korean Hyungs add their take on that.

"Yes, sir!"

"Call over all of the ability users with attacking abilities."

Lee Chul Min opened his mouth to speak as if he was a trained soldier.

"Yes si-"

It was at that moment.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang!

They heard a loud explosion.

They could feel the old building slightly shaking.

"Aaaaaah!"

Lee Seung Won plopped down on the ground in shock as he shouted.

"O, outside!"

"What? Did a monster already appear?"

That can't be.

tcf!Cale wouldn't make a mistake in remembering details.

Everyone is tense at what unforeseen event that's happening.

Lee Chul Min who was also shocked responded to him.

'What is going on? I don't have any memories of this happening.'

"Then is it because it's a different world that it has different situations?" tcfPateson worriedly asks.

"Let's hope not" tcf!Witira wants it to be the Koreans world because they are important to the young master and she wants the young master to be happy. And to do that the Koreans need to be prepared, survive, and live happily.

Cale looked out the window after hearing this sudden explosion as well.

This was the first time.

This was the first time he heard an explosion like this since coming here.

"Since coming here?"

"Does that mean you hear that kind of explosion in Kale-no your world?"

"More like you memorize different kinds of explosion?"

"How many explosions did you experience to know what type it is?"

"I bet most of the explosion was his own doing"

tcf!Cale ignores the peanut gallery.

He could see the sunset outside the window.

"...T, this crazy!"

Cale started to frown.

He quickly rushed toward the door.

"Hey, what's going on?!"

Park Jin Tae was shocked at his action but Cale pushed Park Jin Tae aside and ran out the door.

He heard Lee Jin Joo mumbling behind him.

"...A black dragon?"

"Is it our youngest? Nya~"

"Our youngest is the best! Nya~"

"Of course! I am great and mighty!"

Cale started to frown even more.

'Why is that here?! Why is that here right now?!'

The black Yong shooting up into the sky was the culprit behind the explosion.

It was a sparkling black Yong.

"Guess it's not Raon"

"What do you mean? I am also sparkly!"

"Of course, my Raon is the brightest ever" tcf!Sherrit chimes in wanting to praise her son.

Raon was brimming with delight at his mother's praise.

"Why is this punk, why, why?!"

Cale didn't have any time to think.

He quickly ran down the stairs and headed outside the building.

Gasp!

Human! Your running!"

"Cale is capable of running? Nya!?"

"I can't imagine it Nya!"

tcf!Cale feels attacked. Of course he can run. He just prefers not to.

He ignore what the children said and some laughing idiots surrounding him.

"Hey, hey! Kim Rok Soo!"

Cale ran outside the building.

The sparkling black Yong that was shooting up to the sky was turning faint and disappearing.

However, Cale ran in the direction of the Yong.

Cale could run without worrying about anything as there were no monsters near the central shelter.

He heard Park Jin Tae's voice far behind him.

"Hey! You're about to step outside the boundary!"

The laughing stop.

"Why are you rushing straight to danger again!?"

"Bro, if you see danger you run away from it NOT run towards it!"

"It's like a moth flying towards the flames"

"Aigooo what am I to do with you"

tcf!Cale let those comments from one ear and out the other.

That was the case.

He would soon be past the boundary and it would not be weird if monsters appeared at any moment to attack Kim Rok Soo.

But Cale could not stop.

"Aigoooooo"

"Why can I picture you happily running towards danger?"

Everyone was sighing in frustration.

tcf!Cale and st!Kim Rok Soo just continues munching. They were sure that it was safe because he know himself that he won't go near any form of danger.

So everyone could just stuff it!

He opened his mouth to speak.

"Hey!"

He could see someone walking over to him in the distance.

"...You-"

Cale slowed down.

He could not believe what he was seeing.

However, the distance between him and the approaching person slowly became smaller.

"At least this shows he knew who that is." tboah!Beacrox commented after reading.

"And since he's calm it means he is someone he can handle." tcf!Becrox unconsciously relaxes knowing the young master is somewhat safe.

"So either an ally or an unsuspecting enemy that he can scam." tboah!Cale thought.

The person had started to move faster as Cale slowed down.

And finally, the person stopped in front of Cale.

Cale started to speak.

"...You...why are you?"

The other person started to speak.

"You seem to be around my age right now, when is this?"

Cale finally managed to open his mouth that was difficult to open.

"Choi Han."

Ah.

Everyone finally realize who it was.

While st!Lee Soo Hyuk widens his eyes at the display of emotions in his dongsaengs words.

He only ever heard it once, when his dongsaeng finally acknowledges him as someone important.

The disbelief.

The fear.

The hope.

The swirling emotions in his eyes asking if he was worth it to go through the trouble.

"Of course you're worth it, you dumb idiot," he thought fondly at his too insecure dongsaeng that he loves.

Choi Han was standing in front of him.

The sparkling black Yong.

That was Choi Han's skill.

"My skill..."

Both Choi Han was very interested in these new skills.

"Will I be more able to protect my new family with this skill?"

"Hey uncle! We have similar abilities!" st!Choi Jung Soo cheerfully said to his paternal uncle once removed.

"Does that mean it runs to the family?"

They thought about it but since they have little information they can't say for sure.

"...How did you......?"

"I found a way to squeeze in."

"What?"

Choi Han quietly looked at the skinny and shabby Kim Rok Soo as he continued to speak.

"Cale-nim, you are currently unconscious and imprisoned inside a black orb."

"Ah, so that's what currently happening to your body" st!Lee Soo Hyuk was still worried about the state of his dongsaeng body. He might be unconscious but it's a relief to know that his truly alive.

"You really did possess me" st!Kim Rok Soo said.

"Like an evil ghost" og!Cale adds in.

"Evil ghost that can still bleed apparently" tboah!Cale snort.

"If you're going to be a ghost, be a proper one!" st!Choi Jung Soo demanded.

His voice was calm.

"I went to the Endable Kingdom, but I was unable to get near it. It is impossible to get near it."

What was he talking about?

Cale's mind started to become complicated.

'I'm imprisoned inside a black orb right now?'

His gaze was focused on Choi Han.

His clothes did not match this world, but his physical appearance that was perfect for Korea was looking at him, at Kim Rok Soo.

"That is why I found a way to squeeze into Cale-nim's mind, into the test."

tcf!Choi Han is glad that he was able to get there.

"I can protect Cale-nim and be beside him"

He was really satisfied and praise his future self for making it possible to not leave his Cale-nim side.

Cale was shocked that Choi Han knew about the test.

"How can you get involved-"

"I made a deal with the God of Death."

"...What?"

"What?" tcf!Cale echoes his question as he stares in disbelief at what he just read.

"Urgh, this is why I hate heroes! They go make a deal and sacrifice themself for others" said the black hair who made a deal to save others.

"That's why I will never understand nice people! Urgh! They don't care what happens to them as long as others are safe!" said the red hair who plans to make a deal and hurt himself for others.

"Pyah"

"What hypocrite? And when did the slime return?" They thought as they ignore the eerie looks that others are giving him.

Choi Han started to smile.

"I made a deal with the God of Death so that I could get involved with this test."

He then quickly added on.

"I needed to help you, Cale-nim."

tcf!Cale frown. "He shouldn't do that for me"

"It's because your worth it" st!Lee Soo Hyuk said as if hearing his mind.

"And your love! As expected of my bloodline! We choose the right people to care!" st!Choi Jung Soo's aura of satisfaction was enveloping that place.

But tcf!Cale still has a hard time convincing himself to accept all those nonsense.

Cale started to frown even more.

Choi Han calmly continued to speak while looking at his frown.

"Isn't it better to do it together than to do it alone?"

tcf!Cale has an impassive face but his eyes shook at that sentence.

He was ignoring it.

Ignoring the feeling of loneliness when his hyungs disappeared.

Ignoring how new people from a new world are squeezing into his life.

Ignoring how the loneliness is lessening.

Ignoring how he wasn't alone anymore.

And Choi Han's words made him realize this.

Which made him confused (afraid) of acknowledging this.

In the self-degrade deep part of his mind thinks that this hasn't happened yet, so who knows if there will be bonds in the future with this current Choi Han such as the one they are reading.

Walls to protect him from impeding ache in his heart are building up with that thought.

Cale suppressed his emotions that were trying to make him tear up and opened his mouth to speak.

"...What did you offer him?"

What did he offer the God of Death to make the deal?

"Exactly. What is it!" tcf!Cale grips his hand that ever so slightly trembles at the new emotions inside that confuse him.

"Cale-nim"

He shivers from fear that he might get beaten and from that tone that he refuses to acknowledge.

"If I were to make the same deal and whatever the I offer for the deal. I will still choose the same."

"And I will never regret it"

Hearing and looking at the resolute face of Choi Han, tcf!Cale's scowl (pout) deepen as he looks away.

Cale asked and Choi Han answered as if it was nothing.

"He said that I would live longer than Raon. I didn't want that. I didn't want to be left alone. So, I matched my lifespan to Raon's."

"...You offered a part of your lifespan to the God of Death?"

"Yes. Only the time I would end up living alone."

"That crazy-!" He controls himself remembering how vicious Choi Han is. So he scowl still showing how displease he was at the idiotic decision.

"Strong Choi Han we will have the same lifespan! You made a good decision for I am a very fun and mighty dragon to be with!" tcf!Raon proudly proclaims.

Cale couldn't help but say the following.

"You crazy bastard!"

"That's what I wanted because I didn't want to be left alone. I didn't want to experience solitude anymore."

"Are you crazy?"

An innocent smile appeared on Choi Han's face.

"How did I let the innocence of Choi Han disappear?" tcf!Cale was now slightly worried that he might've been a bad influence on Choi Han.

But he scratch that thought because they didn't spend that much time with each other.

He refuses to believe it.

"Unfortunately, I haven't been normal for a long time."

"I know" tboah!Choi Han scoffed at that.

Living and surviving throughout long year in the Forest of Darkness doesn't exactly retain your sanity.

Especially when you keep losing your family.

...

Cale heard people approaching behind him.

"Who is this?"

"Hyung, who is this person?"

Choi Han smiled brightly and responded once he heard Park Jin Tae and Lee Seung Won who had followed Cale.

"I'm someone who came to pay for his meals."

Ah,

tcf!Choi Han remembers that and smiles satisfied at what his future self decided and done.

After all, he truly believes in what he said to Cale-nim earlier.

As he promises to himself that no more of his family will be snatched away from him.

Cale had to bite his lips after hearing that because of the emotions filling his body.

He barely managed to speak.

"I'm sorry."

That was the only thing he could offer Choi Han right now.

"And thank you. Really, thank you very much."

tcf!Cale sat frozen with a stoic face and swirling emotions in his eyes.

There is some kind of emotions that are burning inside of him. He doesn't know what to name it. It hurt at the same time it .... he couldn't say what.

He doesn't know if he can accept it.

He doesn't know if it's possible that someone from the place he transmigrated will treat him the same way his hyungs treat him.

Like he was important.

There is a lump in his throat and a clashing of emotions inside him.

He had promised his hyungs and himself that he will gather happy memories.

But there is this unease that feeds him.

That all who he treasures met their demise.

That he was the bringer of death-.

"He's a strong one. He'll surely overcome all challenges" st!Lee Soo Hyuk interrupted his thought with words that doesn't just try to convince him because it holds so much conviction.

"You are also strong but still died" but his logic (fears) is still strong.

"You're not the type of person to make the same mistake twice" surprisingly it came from his past self.

"That's right, I'm not."

"And I'm sure that you know what you need to do" his hyung declares.

"That's right, I know."

"And the only thing you need now is acceptance and a little push" his other hyung insisted.

tcf!Cale closes his eyes.

And as he opens it. It holds great resolve.

He will hold on to it.
