CH 28: I Know Nothing!

Glazed Doughnuts

Mew was not coming to work regularly. He would come some days but would rather work from home most of the time. His dressing had changed big time. Earlier, he would be wearing fitted shirts and pants, holding his head high with dignity and seriousness evident in his eyes. But now, he wore much looser and comfy clothes. A baby bump full of three babies is not at all easy to hide especially when you are already four months pregnant.

Mew was already having a hard time because of his clothes. His old clothes just won't fit him anymore. He had to get so many new clothes that were much larger in size than he ever imagined he would have to ever wear. "I didn't sign up for this life!" Mew would exclaim every time he looked at his favorite shirts catching dust in a corner of the wardrobe. But Mew loved his peanuts much more than his shirts and even his husband at times.

The children were not even born yet and Gulf was already jealous of them. When Mew would fall asleep, Gulf would talk to his peanuts to have a father-to-children talk. He would tell the three, "When you're out and with us, please give daddy and mommy some personal time na, my sweet little puppies." He had one thing clear for this lifetime. And that was- "No one comes between me and my Doughnut. Not even our own puppies."

Mew was fine with this clingy and possessive nature of his stupid husband. It made him feel wanted and needed. He had wanted a person to be with him like this, to cling to him, to love him, someone for him to love. And he found it all in Gulf. He knew that once the peanuts will be born, Gulf will love them just like he loves Mew. Unconditionally.

Mew knew that whatever Gulf said was just temporary. He knew Gulf would be the most smitten father on this planet.

But Mew had noticed the changes in everyone's attitude in the office. People were acting weird. He wasn't sure if they really were acting weird or he thought so because of his raging hormones. People other than his team tried to avoid talking to him. Some would look at him weirdly. They would have either confusion, sympathy, or somewhat disgust in their eyes? Mew did not understand why would they look at him with furrowed brows and evident disgust.

The rumors that Jenna had conversed with the receptionist lady about a week ago, were already spread in the whole place like wildfire. But Mew had not heard anything about it himself. He was clueless about the damage that had been done to his image by his spiteful step-sister. There was a storm coming towards the unaware pregnant man.

Gulf and Mew had moved to the Kanawut Mansion as Fon instructed. Gulf knew he could not take care of Mew all on his own and did not want to leave him in the care of some house help. He would only trust his mother when it came to Mew and their children. And Mew was happy as he loved the company of the old couple. He found their baseless bickering fun. And how they would reconcile by the end of the day would make Mew fantasize about his own future.

He dreamt of having a long and lovely life with his husband. Mew wanted to see Gulf till their hair would turn grey and they won't be able to work anymore. When their triplets and maybe more kids would be looking after their business and they would be enjoying their life peacefully and stress-free. He wanted to mock his handsome husband when he would grow wrinkles all over. When Gulf would become toothless and lose his eyesight. Mew was only pregnant for the first time and he was already daydreaming about how his grandchildren would run around the house. How he and Gulf will tell them bedtime tales and look after them when their kids are busy.

Today, Mew decided to go to the office as he was getting bored of not seeing his husband around. At least at the office, he got to see his husband. Mew loved to see that dominant look on Gulf's face that he would have only on the office.

Gulf had set a desk for Mew inside his cabin. Mew was only allowed to go office if he was ready to have his desk right beside Gulf. Gulf never let Mew out of his sight. Everyone just thought that Gulf was being a clingy husband but they did not know of Mew having his peanuts.

Win had gone to use the restroom when he heard some shit going on outside the cubicle.

"Is he really pregnant?" a man said. Then a chuckle was heard, "I think, yes. He used to wear so tight clothes, now it's all loose. But how can he get pregnant? Like... He's a man!" The first man scoffed, "But did he really seduce the CEO? He doesn't seem like a slut to me." Then another man spoke, "People all have a facade, dude. But Even I can not believe that someone like Secretary Suppasit would go around seducing people."

Win's eyes went wide. "P'Mew is pregnant?" Win whispered to himself. Of course, he knew that Mew had the ability to get pregnant. But Mew would tell him if that happened, right? They're as close as siblings. Win walked out of the cubicle and saw Victor with his brows furrowed.

"This rumor is spreading really fast," Victor sighed. Win frowned, "What rumor?" Victor looked at him, "You don't know?" Win shook his head innocently. Victor bent towards his ears and told him all the shit people had been talking about Mew for more than a week now. Win was furious. He could not believe that people believed a rumor like this so easily. Mew was known for his serious and no-nonsense nature, for how professional he was, for his mannerism. But people were comparing that godly man to some low-grade sluttish thing. Win could not hear all this about his own friend he stormed towards the men.

"Ey! Win, how are you buddy?" the first man spoke. Win let out a heavy breath to calm himself so that he didn't punch this shitbag in front of him right away. "What were you talking about P'Mew?" Win's eyes were closed. The second man answered, "What? You don't know that there are rumors of him marrying the CEO by seducing him and getting preggie?" Win was about to punch this man but Victor did not even let him raise his wrist. "We'll leave. Hope you douches burn in hell soon," Victor said as he dragged Win out of there.

"What?" Win snapped as he freed himself from Victor's grasp. Victor licked his lips, "Don't get impulsive. This stupidity will die down soon. We all know that P'Mew will be the last person to get slutty on this planet." Win zipped his lips. He didn't know if they should tell this matter to Mew and Gulf. "Let it be. Don't talk about this to P'Mew or boss," Victor said as they were heading back to their department.

Another week seemed to have passed but the matters were only getting wilder. Now, Mew was scoffed at and teased because of those rumors. But Mew didn't let anybody tell it to Gulf. He didn't want to drag Gulf into this mess. This was one of the things he was so worried about. People judging Gulf for having a hermaphrodite husband. But the damage was already done. He could not and would not step back from being Gulf's husband and the mother of his babies. The rants didn't mean much to Mew as he grew immune to them years ago. But he was sick worried about what will happen to Gulf if he got triggered directly.

Mew was enduring it all with his sunshine smile like nothing wrong was happy. He was happy that he had a family to call his own. This helped him not lose his mind yet and stay strong. Gulf knew that something was off with Mew but Mew just covered it up by blaming the hormones and Gulf had no other choice but to accept it. Mew was not really showing many mood swings or even crazy food cravings. Copter told them that it was not very important for every pregnant person to face all that. Mew was happy as he won't be irritating Gulf too much.

Gulf was heading to his best friend's cabin as it had been a long time since the two had a nice talk. Mew was there in his cabin, Gulf left him under Win's care. Mew had become meek and more sensitive but Gulf knew it's the pregnancy. He wanted to tell Yibo about their triplets. He and Mew decided on making the man the godfather of one of their puppies. Gulf was all smiling on his way to Yibo's cabin. But the stares of every one were weird.

They were not minding their own business or greeting Gulf like usual, they just looked at him with some sort of pity. This was not the first time. This had been the situation for a couple of weeks. But Gulf couldn't care less. His doughnut was now almost five months pregnant, they would be able to hold their kids in their arms in the next three to four months. This was all that was on Gulf's mind.

***YIBO'S CABIN***

Gulf barged in without notice. Yibo was talking animatedly to his boyfriend on his phone. "Give some attention to your friend too, you idiot!" Gulf said loudly as he settled on the couch there. Yibo quickly cut the call, "Yeah, it's Gulfie. Talk to you later sweetie." Yibo walked to Gulf and settled adjacent to him.

"So how's everything?" Yibo asked with concern. He had come across the rumor and he did not believe it a single bit. "Everything's great! I and Doughnut are happy, mom and dad are healthy, what else do I need?" Gulf simply spoke. Yibo frowned, "Gulfie, I'm your friend you can talk to me freely. How's Mew been holding up with this whole situation?" Gulf got confused, "What situation? We haven't fought even once after the reconciling months ago." Yibo sighed, "I'm talking about those rumors. The ones spread about Mew seducing you and..." Yibo didn't know how to continue.

"And...?" Gulf was turning scary. Yibo gulped. If he continued, Gulf might get pissed and punch him but if he did not speak, Gulf might torture him till he speaks. Yibo continued, "And... that he is pregnant with your child." Yibo's eyes were closed as he was awaiting a hard punch on his face but he received a question instead.

"How do you know that Doughnut is pregnant?!" Gulf exclaimed. Yibo looked at his friend in disbelief. He asked, "He's really pregnant?! Like, seriously or are you joking?" Gulf smiled wide upon thinking of his four babies. "Yeah, and I actually want to ask you to be the godfather of one of them," Gulf smiled. He totally forgot the first point Yibo told him. " What do you mean by 'one of them', just how many do you plan on having? And how did Mew get pregnant? He's clearly the top!" Yibo could not believe what he just heard. Gulf smiled from ear to ear, "My husband's a hermaphrodite, so he can bear our children. And we're having triplets. Doughnut's already in the fifth month already."

Yibo took a while to absorb all this new information. Then he nodded, "Wow! Great. But how has he been dealing with all those stupid rumors when he's so pregnant!?" Gulf snapped back to being scary, "Just what are those rumors? I don't know what are you talking about." Yibo's eyes were yelling care and concern for the two, he told Gulf whatever he had heard and with every word Gulf's rage was rising.

"Who the fuck started these about my husband!?" Gulf was furious. "I don't know. But did Mew really not tell you?" Yibo asked. Gulf felt disappointed and angry. He was disappointed in himself that he could not take the best care of his love. And angry at Mew for not telling him when he had been facing so much. He thought that the two had a truce that they won't hide anything from each other and share all their problems. He thought that they were in everything and everything together. But, he guess, he was wrong. Mew did not tell such a matter to Gulf and had been enduring it while he already was pregnant. Just how much must his Doughnut be struggling on his own? Did he not trust him enough, Gulf thought.

Gulf stormed out of Yibo's office and headed to confront his husband who had been hiding so much from him. Gulf's aura was more intimidating than ever. The hells were about to be let loose. He was furious at Mew for not even thinking of telling him about all this.
