Chapter 8

LITTLE STAR

Religious poems

Go home, little star,

You've already shone so bright.

An angel watches from afar,

And God sees me in His sight.

Do you know why I'm a star,

Shining, pulsing with life so true?

On its path, it's both near and far,

Small and grand in all it can do.

There are stars almost unknown,

Just little dots up in the sky.

But they're not empty, all alone,

Their light will never say goodbye.

It will shine on all things one day,

And peace will reign across the land.

Not just a flash, but here to stay,

Lasting peace, forever grand.
