Chapter 22
THE GUILTY ONE
Religious poems
They blame you for so many things,
With mouths full of roses, their voices sing,
But the thorns that pierce their cheeks so wide,
Are from the food they gorge inside.
They blame you for tempting Eve,
In Eden, while Adam didn't perceive,
Distracted, unaware of the trap,
She bit the bait, just like a sap.
They place the blame, but we all see,
You only wished to set them free,
To show that man can say "I love,"
But deep inside, he can't rise above.
You're guilty of this demonstration,
But I don't hold it with condemnation.
No hate within, just admiration,
For your brave act, a true sensation.
